Yeah, nothing happens which is why he wants you waterlogged. The baptism of Christ does not involve water. :)

I guess you was so focused on what Satans know you didn't see the rest?

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Acts 22:16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

Acts 8:12 But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.

Acts 10:48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.

Acts 19:5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

Is there anything we can learn from those scripture?

What do they say and mean?

Why were they being baptized?

We are saved when we believe...believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved...Acts 16:31. This is all that is necessary to be saved.

The remission of sin is dependent upon the shedding of blood...Hebrews 9:22. All the sin that is remitted was remitted on the cross.

When the gospel is shared and the Spirit gives hearing and perception...when they heard this, and circumcises the heart...were pricked in the heart, it alters the will of those the Spirit is engaging with...what shall we do? Those who responded this way were made partakers of the divine nature and began responding accordingly. Those who were not acted upon by the Spirit did not respond this way. It is similar to what happened to the two men on the road to Emmaus where Jesus opened their understanding or where He speaks in Matthew 13:11 that his disciples were given to understand the mysteries of the kingdom while others were not.

Do you believe only 3,000 people heard Peter and everyone was saved?

You enjoy your day, and best of luck with your thoughts.

Your walk is between you and JESUS, when you stand in front of HIM he will be the one judging you and he will be using the same verse I used to show you how wrong you are.

The context is being born again; not being born. Jesus never speaks concerning natural birth.

The context is understanding spiritual matters which cannot happen by intellect alone which was Nicodemus' problem. He was a highly religious Jew much like Saul before he became Paul. Phil.3:4-6

What? (the part in bold) So being born of the flesh doesn't mean natural birth? You make stuff up as you go along.

I had a relative that used to play that game, and would try to bring someone to tears trying to reason with him.

I had a relative that used to play that game, and would try to bring someone to tears trying to reason with him.

Takes all sorts to make the world go round as they say. ;)

Eventually they always show themselves up by saying something utterly ridiculous.

You are not smart...
You are actually sadistic.
For you play stupid to torment and wear people down.

You have proven it over and over again.
You deny the Rapture. (But claim your own version of a rapture.)
You deny the Millennium. (Claiming it has been ongoing from the first century.)

And, you now deny this.

John 3:6-7

Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.
You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’

You do not torment me.

I simply see you as you are.
God says you are stupid.

Proverbs 12:1

Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge,
but whoever hates correction is stupid.

And, you are proud of it.
More poor discernment.
And it is you who call me stupid. Don't impose your lack of understanding on God.
Read the verses. One is born again BY water and the Spirit. Both water and Spirit refer to being born again. Jesus never addresses physical birth.
I don't mind correction so long as it is actually correction.

To be born again, one must be born a first time.
Hence? "Born again."

... Please tell me you are on medication.
It would make it much easier to forgive your nonsense in that case.

What ever you are?
You have an affinity for doing evil.
For this is not rocket science.
Elementary school kids grasp it easily.
Again, the context of the passage is being born again; not being born. You err as Nicodemus did thinking in terms of physical birth.

You enjoy your day, and best of luck with your thoughts.

Your walk is between you and JESUS, when you stand in front of HIM he will be the one judging you and he will be using the same verse I used to show you how wrong you are.
Grace and peace.

Don't start with me buddy.

Nobody is that stupid
You would have to work at it.

Proverbs 12:1 -
Here it is in 58 translations.

Not all is good.
In effect, you are calling evil -good!

No I'm not. That is you. The context of the passage is being born again. So, again, water and the Spirit are referring to being born again.
And if you don't want me to reply, simply don't start a discussion with me. I never begin a discussion with you, but I do sometimes reply when someone addresses me. Simple solution: don't direct your posts towards me. I have no desire to be in a discussion with you. Despite having some knowledge and understanding, you have no spiritual discernment or wisdom.

Please show me where Jesus addresses natural birth. He is speaking concerning spiritual birth. Which part of seeing the kingdom of God involves natural birth?

"Flesh gives birth to flesh".

He most definitely addresses physical birth by declaring unequivocally it cannot produce the spiritual but it does get you into this world where one needs salvation. So stop talking nonsense that Jesus doesn't address it.

There comes a point that we become stupid for continuing to try to reason with him.

Warn a divisive person once, and then warn them a second time.

After that, have nothing to do with them. You may be sure that
such people are warped and sinful; they are self-condemned.

Titus 3:10-11

(1) You are confusing everlasting life with eternal life
Okay then, what is the difference between "eternal life" and "everlasting life" There are not TWO SEPARATE WORDS - one of which means life without end and the other of WHICH MEANS existence without beginning. ONLY God Himself is without beginning. This makes Him ontologically unique since everything He created HAD A BEGINNING

(2) To walk in the Spirit and sound doctrine? Is to experience walking in God's life.
24 As for you, let what you have heard from the beginning remain in you...Was that which they had "heard" not the the gospel? Our ongoinf experience of His life depends on our continuing in the Vine and His word of salvation

(3) Literally the Greek text says: "That which you have heard from the beginning LET IT ABIDE, REMAIN, CONTINUE."
The undelined portion of this sentence is a translation of the single verb ABIDE which is the Present tense Imperative Verb (meneto) It is a command to KEEP ON, OR CONTINUE DOING SOMETHING.

(3) IF IT DOES, you will also remain in the Son and in the Father.
The conditional conjunction IF indicates that the promise of continuing in the Son and Father is contingent upon whether we CONTINUE to abide in the VIne. We cannot escape the fact that we have a choice about it.

(4) 25 And this is the promise that He Himself made to us: eternal life.…
What is the promise of eternal life? According to the Apostle it is continuing in the Father and Son. and in the word of salvation

(5) That is how we gain "eternal" life. For God's life is eternal! Outside of time.
God did not promise to take us outside of time. Time is an endless succession of temporal events. Are we headed into a universe where there is no time. If that were true how could we ever go through the successive events prophesied in Revelation. How could He progressively show us more about Himself (Ephesians 2:7). In such a world nothing could change.

He only mentions flesh to tell Nicodemus that He isn't speaking about physical but spiritual. You can't escape that both water and Spirit are referring to being born again.

Have you?

First I do agree with some things you say BUT.

You make statements like this,

"Verbally saying they repent merely acknowledges the internal change that has taken place"

"Salvation takes place internally, and is witnessed outwardly"

The reason I don't recognize Acts 2:37 not being saved IS BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT, THEY WERE GIVEN INSTURCTIOS ON WHAT THEY MUST DO.

THEY OBEYED THOSE INSTUCRIONS THEN WAS SAVED!!!!

Ok, I try again.

I will make a statement.

In order to be saved we have to be reborn.

How to be reborn, belive, repent, get baptized in JESUS name for remission of our sins and pray for the Holy Ghost.

1 Believe, John 3:16 plus many more.

2. Repent, Matthew 4:17 From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

Since we are born in sin we need to get rid of it, we are born in sin right?

JESUS is John 3:5 says,
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

EVIDENCE ACTS 2:37 WAS NOT REBORN, were they born of water and of the spirit? NO!!!

He is clear we have to be born OF WATER and OF SPIRIT, right?

So according to HIS word how do we get rid of our sins?

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Acts 22:16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

Now how does JESUS fill us with HIS spirit?

Acts 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Acts 10,
45 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.

46 For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,

Acts 19:6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.

How do I know the above scripture is evidence that ones speaks in tongues when they are filled???

Because Peter says it,

Acts 2:33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.

AND BECAUSE JESUS says it,

Mark 16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

See I did not tell any stories, just FACTS.

Can you backup your comments with HIS WORD????

"Verbally saying they repent merely acknowledges the internal change that has taken place"

"Salvation takes place internally, and is witnessed outwardly"

"Verbally saying they repent merely acknowledges the internal change that has taken place"

Repentance is not just about the final outcome. It describes the process of how it comes about. Jesus said it happens when the Holy Spirits conviction results in a change in the persons will. It is when the person lays down his resistance to the word of truth combined with the persuasive influence of the Holy Spirit upon the mind, emotions and conscience.

Because the Lord was building His Church, the Body of Christ.

1 Corinthians 12:13
For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body—whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.

Just can't say what it's for can you.

So are you a part of that church, don't look like it.

Has JESUS filled you???

Acts 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Or are you missing that two?

"Verbally saying they repent merely acknowledges the internal change that has taken place"

Repentance is not just about the final outcome. It describes the process of how it comes about. Jesus said it happens when the Holy Spirits conviction results in a change in the persons will. It is when the person lays down his resistance to the word of truth combined with the persuasive influence of the Holy Spirit upon the mind, emotions and conscience.

Scrpiture please, how do you know you have the Holy Ghost to convicte you?

Acts 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
