The N.T is all about what Jesus has done for us.

Your Christian lifestyle will directly reflect your understanding of what Christ has done for us.

I am perfect IN Christ.

Christians are new creations and the Holy Spirit dwells in them, my point was, if three months say after someone claims to have gotten saved, nothing has changed in their life, they still get drunk every night, still have multiple affairs, still beat their wife, are still a habitual thief, and still constantly blaspheme they never had a genuine conversion in the first place. We could add to that, they rape, murder and much else. There has to be a line drawn in the sand over this.

Well speaking personally, I've never come across any christian or minister who would believe someone such as I described to you living such a lifestyle could be in a saved state. Possibly you know something they do not

I have seen some very dodgy people become Christians.

I don't think anyone expects an overnight change in their thought life and their behavior.

If they were blaspheming Jesus then they are not likely to be a Christian.

I have seen many converts over the years.

They all travel forward into holiness at varying speeds.

Some depart and never return.

Ultimately what you should look for is that growth in their knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Saddled with a deepening devotion to Jesus Christ.

Only Jesus can save anyone in the end and our holiness is but the fruit of the H.S.

God owns this space not us.

At the point of conversion, under the core terms of the new covenant God writes his laws in a believers mind and places them on their hearts. Meaning, in a believers mind they know how God wants them to live and in their heart they desire to live that way.
I agree, everyone may grow at a different pace, but signs of change will be seen, completely under a righteousness of faith in Christ. And no one, with applicable law in their heart and mind is going to wilfully live a lifestyle such as I described over a period of months I would say that is impossible under the core terms of the new covenant

Some are former drug addicts, alcoholics, violent offenders, etc., Some of these folk struggle with
church attendance and they struggle at a much deeper level than the rest of us.

• Christians were already meeting on the first day of the week long before Constantine.
• Second-century sources (Ignatius, Justin Martyr, Didache) clearly attest to Sunday gatherings.
• Constantine did not change Christian worship from Saturday to Sunday.
• His law regulated a day that Christians were already using, but for civil rest, not church doctrine.

This is a crucial correction.

Is it shown any where in the Bible that Christ kept Sunday or that it does not matter which day or that it was removed from the TC??

keeping the Sabbath, today in this world, is not an easy thing to do where as Sunday is no problem at all, its the norm.

I do know that Christians were gathering and breaking bread every day of the week.

Acts 2:46
Day by day continuing with one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house,
they were taking their meals together with gladness and sincerity of heart, praising God and

Now that's the kind of Christian lifestyle we should have.

Forget holy days and go 24/7.

It is good to judge no one, but we do need discernment.
Paul did not believe anyone would be sinless, and his core message was, you cannot be righteous by obeying the law. However, at the same time he kept repeating that he told the Romans they ‘used’ to be slaves to sin and if you are a slave to sin it leads to death.
What is a slave to sin as Paul is using the word, for you could say everyone is a slave to sin in some regard?
I would say, when you wilfully live a sinfull lifestyle, where sin completely dominates your life, as it would concerning such a person as I described to you. We must be careful, not to let dogma overcome us to the extent we cannot use discernment.

I once knew an elder with a OPC church. At that time, they did not yet have their own building so they held their service in an SDA church each Sunday because the building was not in use. I think is was nice of the SDA church to let them do so. However, they would not allow them to serve coffee!
I did not know that coffee was restricted. Is it because it is a stimulant of sorts?

They hold to OT dietary laws, so that wouldn't surprise me. Actually,
