Dont need to. Nothing in Scripture says faith alone is sufficient. If salvation is assured then it doesn't matter what you do. That's unbiblical.
can I ask is only being told something a measure in which to believe

Jesus did. Don't you read?

You don't know that's why you work out your salvation with fear and trembling. Again read.

I am absolutely assured, because Jesus said so, that if I do the will of the father I will enter the kingdom of heaven. What I'm not always assured if is my ability to do the father's will. Again unlike you I don't decide for God that I've don't his will.
sure the part here you say your only assured because Jesus said so.

Is that saying you only believe because your told so

You were once told A was the first letter of the alphabet. Do you believe that only because your(sic) told so?

Instead of trying to trip me up, which you can't do, you should try to listen. I'll try AGAIN

Jesus said, "...only the who does the will of my heavenly Father." , will enter the kingdom of heaven. You don't believe him? Who should I believe that "pastor" you lost videos of?

So what you think your being told at the moment, from my question is not what I'm telling you, all tho you could believe that.

So I asked on the bases do you believe the question has a valid point, on the bases of should we believe because where only told so.

On the bases of if we believe that how can we be assured.

Or in another sense if we only believe because where told so, are we truly believing.

No, I most likely won't rob banks because I worked that out. Now that I have the Holy Spirit I can choose not to sin.

But if salvation is assured then there should be no problem with robbing a bank, since your salvation has ben worked out. It's secure right?

Well I'm not sure being told that is reason for believing.

Well I'm not sure being told that is reason for believing.

What's a reason for believing? So I shouldn't listen to what Jesus says and believe it? I should listen to Jesus and believe it because you say so? Or that "pastor" whose sermons you swoon over?

That depends on the definition of faith. I have come to understand that there is no qualitative difference between faith that accepts God’s saving grace at conversion and faith that accepts God’s working grace or motivates good works while walking/living (Eph. 2:8-10, 2Cor. 5:7), but only a quantitative difference as each additional moment passes–and of course faith remains non-meritorious during the saint’s entire lifetime (Rom. 1:17). IOW, the ability to do good works as well as have saving faith are both due to God’s resistible grace.

No question but no works no salvation.

Well by knowing you have assurance that what your believing is a result of his will, thanks done by seeking assurance, through his word, say like thousands of times, each time you see your doing the right thing,

And how your behaving good is a result of your faith, which is his faith, based on belief grown in you from his faith. 🙂

That's mumbo jumbo. What do you mean, " by knowing ..." You have assurance that you are believing is a result of his will. That pure unadulterated word salad.
