I would like a sermon on free will to a classroom of students please by a professor.
Luke 16:31
But he said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be persuaded even if someone rises from the dead.’”

What is the responsibility of the student?Learning occurs when information is passed from a teacher to a student. A debate is not between a student and a teacher. A debate occurs when the student decides to become a teacher or when you just have two teachers to begin with. Things can be learned from debates but not often. More often it becomes a battle of one’s pride vs another’s pride. How many debates have you seen where two people start with opposite views and the outcome is one saying “I was completely wrong, you are right”?
If one wants to learn they will learn. A bad teacher causes a student to seek a different teacher or if there are no other choices, they will learn on their own. That attitude will not get you thru medical school or get you a law degree I can guarantee you that.
Jer 29:13I write what I see and you see that as a list of complaints. If I say something is a waste of time then that means I wouldn’t do it because I see it as a waste of time. If you want to waste you time, well it’s your time, not mine. If you see it as not a waste of time then that’s fine too. Go for it. As I said before you do you.
To properly receive the information that the teacher properly conveys. Im not saying there aren’t bad students. A good student has to want to learn. What is the responsibility of the student?
Acts 17:11To properly receive the information that the teacher properly conveys. Im not saying there aren’t bad students. A good student has to want to learn.
@Jordon I do sincerely thank you. I went back and was trying to find you what you wanted and found great studies that I have become too familiar with and found nuggets that are just wonderful.yep RC Sproul says the same thing we have free will, what the debate is about between reformed and unreformed is mans ability to accept Christ in there fallen state of corrupted free will.

@ Jordan I gave you one. If I keep going, this is the end:of course he does that not the question at hand sir.
The question at hand is seeing how a genuine professor with an academic teaches about free will to his class room of students, with students in the class room
I'm asking for such a sermon on YouTube, do you have one.

Thiers no need to get yourself in twist if you haven't got what I ask for, then just say so.@ Jordan I gave you one. If I keep going, this is the end:
Give me a professor that is wearing one red sneaker and a black boot with a white lace that teaches in a classroom with 200 seats and only 87.4% of those seats are filled. And The 87.4% have one pencil, a 2018 i-pad and all have the same birthday.
We either want the truth or we don't.
Thanks @Jordon. I have no Ill will towards anyone. FREEDOM in Christ is one of my passions.Thiers no need to get yourself in twist if you haven't got what I ask for, then just say so.
just started to watch the sermon, and I had to switch it of straight away. Thanks @Jordon. I have no Ill will towards anyone. FREEDOM in Christ is one of my passions.
Our definitions of classroom and professors are probably different?
John Lennox is a brilliant professor, and my view of a classroom is students attending his lectures.......No matter the venue.
2 Tim 4:3just started to watch the sermon, and I had to switch it of straight away.
That's funny coz sound doctrine from someone who specialises in the will of God has been rejected.2 Tim 4:3
For the time will come when they will not tolerate sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance with their own desires,
His word, this world and this very thread testify of our God given freewill.
Jeremiah 7:24-26
Yet they did not listen or incline their ear, but they followed the stubborn inclinations of their own evil hearts. They went backward and not forward. / From the day your fathers came out of the land of Egypt until this day, I have sent you all My servants the prophets again and again. / Yet they would not listen to Me or incline their ear, but they stiffened their necks and did more evil than their fathers.
If I keep going, this is the end:That's funny coz sound doctrine from someone who specialises in the will of God has been rejected.
John lenox doesn't even have an academic degree in religion his degrees gained where in mathematics and bioethics.
Rc Sproul had an academic degree in theology and philosophy.
My question still stands neither you or @cv5 have provided a classroom study from a professor with an academic degree in religion, with a lecture about free will.
And as I thought John lenox is more a scientist.
Josef Mengele had a degree......That's funny coz sound doctrine from someone who specialises in the will of God has been rejected.

It most certainly does have bearing on one's eternal destiny or, as you say, estate. If you believe and receive the One who is payment for your sins you are forgiven and will spend eternity with Him. He revealed the Father and the Holy Spirit in His teachings. If not, your final destination is the lake of fire. I call that having a bearing, don't you?Correct. And since it is a sin, those who believe Jesus paid for the sins of everyone throughout history, it cannot have any bearing on one's eternal estate.
Correct. And since it is a sin, those who believe Jesus paid for the sins of everyone throughout history, it cannot have any bearing on one's eternal estate.

I was speaking to people who do not believe God sends people to hell because of sin. You came in in the middle of a discussion. Of course sin makes a difference in one's eternal estate. But if Jesus paid for the sins of every person throughout history on the cross, upon what basis does God send someone to hell?It most certainly does have bearing on one's eternal destiny or, as you say, estate. If you believe and receive the One who is payment for your sins you are forgiven and will spend eternity with Him. He revealed the Father and the Holy Spirit in His teachings.
