Just Curious. What you said is good but how does Matthew chapter 24 fit into this? With all the persecution of Christians happening in Iran, China and N Korea, not to mention Minneapolis it’s spreading west. How do you explain Jesus words in Matthew 24 about false Christs and deception that even the elect can be deceived? Im not pounding you; im curious how all this fits together? And btw just a bit of interesting info I heard this morning… do you know that Iran has the largest number of Christians in the world right now?
Jesus said the great tribulation will be the worst time ever and never to be equaled. It means it'll be worse than WWII, which was pretty bad.
If Christians aren't spiritually ready for it, some might not endure as Jesus instructs and fall away, betraying other brothers and sisters in Christ just trying to save themselves.

Matthew 24 is one of them. And what most people do is think that Rapture has to be post trib because of Matthew 24. But the disciples asked Jesus 3 questions and if you read it carefully you may see that Jesus finishes answering the 3 questions and then changes the subject to the rapture as an add on to their discussion. Jesus gets done talking about end times 2nd coming and starts talking about the rapture, which takes place before the great trib because the Bride of Christ is not appointed unto the wrath of God.

AKA, the day the age of Grace is over and earth enters a judgment season and there will be no more easy grace for believers.

I see where your post trib rapture belief comes from.
You've hit the nail on the head. Just be ready all the time. And that can be the easy part or the hard part! It isnt about doctrine or dates. It's about relationship with Jesus. Hanging out with Him and praying to Him so much that you start hearing Him.
Moses went up Mt Sinai and was with God 40 days and then came back down, but he was glowing and so wore a veil so he didnt scare everybody. So being in God's presence leaves a residue on you! This residue is the Holy Spirit and may make you glow! It is the same oil as the 10 virgins had in that parable.
It aint about how much scripture you know and it's not knowing a lot about Jesus. It's, I know Jesus Himself.
What do you mean, I never knew you? What if I became the kid who never shuts up?! I accidently taught myself how to hear the still small voice of God because I realized my morning prayers were maybe a minute long then I went to work, and I didn't like that. So I started inviting Jesus to go to work with me. I worked at a HVAC company at that time and worked on all sorts of residential furnaces & A/C and the commercial roof top units also. I talked to Him all day, driving around house to house or company. The company I worked for just happened to get lots of Church work.
So Jesus was my lead tech and I assumed the role of helper, and Jesus was also the Customer! Once you cam hear the Lords still small voice, you can even talk to Him in my head somehow nonverbally.
People need to stop preparing for external events and prepare internally with the Lord.

Matthew 24:3
3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?.../KJV
They ask 3 questions, and Jesus starts talking until
Matthew 24:31-32
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:.../KJV
Verse 31 is the last verse answering the disciples 3 questions and at that point Jesus is done answering them.
Verse 32 changes the subject. Jesus is on a roll and says hey let's talk about the rapture now and starts talking about it. In May 1948? Israel put forth leaves and became a nation again, and if you continue to read, he goes right into more about the rapture.

The great tribulation comes first. After the great tribulation Jesus comes and gathers the Saints, Then the wrath of God is poured out. Very clearly taught in Scripture.
You put a good spend on Matthew 24, but you are wrong.
No need to debate it. I learned a long time ago that to spend time trying to change the mind of a "pre-trib rapture of the church" person is a waste of time.
How come when I see that phrase " Rightly Divided!" that what follows is never Rightly Divided?
Can someone explain that to me?

Luke expands on what Matthew compressed.
Next you will be talking about the imminent return of Jesus.
Because most people go to the Bible to PROVE what they believe, not to learn the truth.
Most do not know how to "rightly divide" the Word.
