Not according to my family. Lots of history with bad Canadian healthcare. Sitting in emergence for 12+ hrs. Can't get a specialist or primary care doctor for years. This is across the country.

I've spent hours in a US hospital waiting for a radiologist to read my CT scans. Unless you want to see a nurse practitioner, you may wait weeks to see a primary care doctor. US healthcare access is driven by who has the dollars to pay for it.

That was my story in NYC but then when I moved to a new city in the midwest I was stunned. I had an appointment to see the doctor at a certain time, for example 3 pm. I got there early filled out the paperwork and at 3 pm the doctor came out to get me and see me! I was stunned.

We must be in a good area of the country. That being said, I have family members that have lost their lives because of Canadian healthcare and other health issues because the healthcare is so far stretched there. It's not perfect State side either. I've yet to wait 24 hrs in emergency though.

I really don't want to get going on this again, but there is a difference from one province to the next and the same applies in the US.

In Quebec, where I am originally from, you get taken care of. When I lived in NS, I had to wait one full year for an MRI on my knee. I knew I had torn my ACL but an MRI appointment for the knee would have taken months so I opted to go to another city and after waiting for over 2 hrs they told me the MRI was not working, so yeah. An entire year. And to make it worse, the surgeon told me I had not torn my ACL but when the MRI finally happened, they could not even find it.

Here in the US I have been treated very well but I dismissed 2 doctors until I found the PA I go to now. Because of injuries, I have had a couple of operations here and no complaints.

I would not give NS a very good score with regards to care, so...

In NS they can't even find a primary care doc. I have an uncle who waited three years. When he found one she decided she could get better pay state side and left for greener er pastures.

But then I have friends in the middle of the country, big city, and they'll be on Facebook like "here in emergency, hour 12". So no one I know as far west as Ontario has anything good to say about "free" healthcare.

That "free" healthcare came from extremely high taxes too. I would visit Canada more if it weren't for their high sales tax. Such a lovely country and lovely people otherwise!

I'd rather have what we have now here in the States where we actually have more control over where our money is going toward our own health.

Liberals announce criminalization of religious belief

And of course this will only apply to Christians as the moselms will have free reign

They wouldn't dare to stop the moslems from exercising their religious beliefs since the moslems will start killing people over it.

Wait, American squirrels use guns to break the ice?

Yeah, their squirrelly just like you!

What the duck Canada?! Cozying up to China!!!? What in the world?! Forefathers spinning in their graves.

We’re starting on our chinafication of our country here as well. Only it’s not out of Beijing, but out of the hole in the lower landscape of #47’s heavily foundation ridden face.
