Worst idea ever. The government is always the least efficient of all of the options. Most people don't want their healthcare run like the DMV.

A few days ago a nurse was asking about my mother's faith and religion and i said "We're East Orthodox". And she said, "Oh you're Jewish?". I said "No - we're Christians!".

I wish my Russian was better so I could listen to the speech Putin gave yesterday. Seems Putin has the impression that Trumps calling him over and over trying his best to surrender and get the US off the hook.

To me he lost all legitimacy when he said that "people dying in Ukraine are actors" when the war started. That's when i knew he had lost his mind.
Looks like the peace talks are at a stand still and Russia's saying Ukraine tried to take out Putin last night but they shot down the drones. Z. denies it all saying it never happened but Trump backed Putin at first then said he was checking into it to see if it happened. Looks like Putin's not going to settle for just a little piece of Ukraine unless it includes Warsaw and Yugoslavia gets glued back together.
The Yugoslavia comment made me laugh and that's exactly his mentality.

is just you practicing your faith? You misunderstood what I wrote and I pointed out that I never said Americans were getting free healthcare. In fact, I never actually even said Americans were coming to Canada. I said I HEARD that has happened. What I don't like is your arrogant attitude. I will be corrected when I see where I was wrong as perhaps some here have found, but in this case, it is you who is wrong.

If there is something worse that refusing to admit you were wrong, it is doubling down and saying I am lying and you are correcting me. I tend to think she has not received health care in Canada for number of years so there is that.
I am not going to read over every post but Canadians do go to the USA for treatment if they have the insurance/money and receive approval.
Both systems have major problems and arguing and using the outliers to make a point is not productive. imo.

First off, we both know you go out of your way to either 'laugh' or 'disagree' with posts I make, not because you actually disagree necessairly, but because we are in disagreement with regards to our political views. So, as all good democrats do, you confuse personal disagreement with the validity of someone's post, me in this case but you have done it many times in the news forum to others, and create emotional responses with whatever is available for you to use. Secondly, in what world do you suppose you are privy to what kind of healthcare I do or do not have? Well, the truth is, I have made that information public in my posts. Therefore, and not surprisingly, you do not actually read my posts, preferring instead to put your emoticons on what I write. Proving, that what I said regarding emotional responses coming from you, and that you often reference because I do not agree with your left wing stance, are your best effort at trying to influence others.
Thirdly, the sad exchange between myself and the person who most likely has some kind of internal conflict in progress, was really none of your business.
Contrary to popular belief, healthcare in Canada is not, I repeat not, treating everyone equally. Laughing at people's posts that are actually no concern of yours, or laughing when someone points out your political bias and so on, reflects, in my opinion, an unhealthy state of mind. You appear to be someone who will not dialogue but have no problem mocking.

Canadians have been seeking treatment across the border since the early 1990' for certain, there are more advanced treatments in the USA because the system is funded differently.
There was a time when one could get approval from the provincial healthcare system for emergency healthcare treatment in the USA but this has proved to costly and I do not think it happens any longer.
No one is assuming. You have voiced it many times. You have freedom to post whatever, possibly be reported if it goes too far or, the wiser choice, be respondent instead of avoidant.

No what I am saying is, that even though the Canadian Health Care system has it's flaws, it still far better than the American System.
Than you need to stop voting Democrat or Republican and find a different party that you would support.

Not according to my family. Lots of history with bad Canadian healthcare. Sitting in emergence for 12+ hrs. Can't get a specialist or primary care doctor for years. This is across the country.
