James then gave the decision: the Gentiles were not to be forced into circumcision or the full yoke of the Law of Moses, but they should start by keeping four commands taken from the Torah so they could walk clean and stay away from idolatry (Acts 15:19–20 ).
He added that Moses had been taught “in every city” and read “every Sabbath” (Acts 15:21 NKJV), showing the Gentile believers would keep learning God’s ways.

God's way is faith. Paul made clear that eating meat sacrificed to idols was not illegal if a person did it in faith. Same would be true for meat from strangled animals, or blood. The only rule of the 4 that would have been sin is fornication.

works are evidence of faith. read James again i can quote if you dont remember where to look.
Works can be evidence of faith, but not always. Those in Matthew 7:21-23 had works. Do you believe they had faith?

God claimed the Ten Commandments as His commandments Exo20:6 Deut4:13 not Moses. Moses did not even take credit for them in anyway way and he was there Exo32:16. It has God’s name not Moses in the first 4 commandments on how we are to love God. Moses name is not found in the Ten Commandments, this is a deception that God’s laws is Moses when its under God’s mercy seat, not Moses, its God personally written and spoken Testimony, Exo31:18 not Moses. When Jesus quoted from them,, He called them the commandment of God, not Moses Mat15:3-14 Mark 7:7-13 not sure how many times it needs to be repeated for one to believe.

John 1:17
For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

The ten are the law given through Moses so we call them the law of Moses.

True faith results in works
No works = no faith they are linked and should not be seperated.
Faith is the root of salvation and works are the fruit. No fruit at all would demonstrate there is no root. So, works are the fruit, by product and demonstrative evidence of authentic faith but not the very essence of faith and also not the basis or means by which we obtain salvation.

Have a look at the four rules the Gentiles were given and are these taken from the ceremonial law?
yes I have and I know why they have been kept but it is only these four. idolatry and sexual immorality were prevalent then they kept these because they are grave sins in the eyes of God and wanted to preserve them, from evil, they kept it to a minimum not to burden them. read post 2238 the 4 are listed.

as for the ten commandments placed in the ARK of the Covenant, you wrote easier "so what" you do not see the great importance God placed on the Ten COMMANDMENTS? that he declared and called them MY Covenant? what did cover the ark and why? what was this piece called and what was its purpose?

Why did Jesus say repent? repent from sin of course. what defines Sin? why did Jesus so often quoted and magnified the ten commandments, just for fun? why did Jesus say if you wilt enter into life, Keep the Commandments? why did Paul also quoted the ten commandments and told us they are good and just?

Yes the fruit reveals the type of tree and the depth of roots and heath of the tree.

It's all connected.
Matthew 7:17 - Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.

The people in Matthew 7:21–23 did works, but Jesus said He never knew them, which means they did not have true faith. Real faith begins with knowing Jesus and doing the will of the Father. Their works were done without obedience, without a true heart, and without walking in God’s will.
Jesus explained this very clearly. He said:
“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father” (Matthew 7:21 NKJV).
So the problem was not works. The problem was a lack of true faith that listens, obeys, and walks with Him. Their works had no life because they were not obeying His voice.

This is like Moses when he struck the rock instead of speaking to it as God commanded (Numbers 20:7–12 NKJV). Moses still did a “work” and water still came out, but he did not obey God’s voice. The action looked successful, yet it was disobedience, and God judged it as unbelief.
In the same way, the people in Matthew 7:21–23 had works, but they were not doing the Father’s will. Their actions looked religious, but they were not born from true faith and obedience.

please do mot extrapolate a question like you usually would do" Does this mean Moses will not enter heaven.....?

Did Paul then contradict GOD on idol meat? did have the right to place this call?

Can people give a clear simple answer??

Is it God's will that we obey His law of 10 commandments?

My thoughts.... Jewish or not Jewish is not a factor, we are all one in Christ. We are all part of the seed of Abraham..
.... the new covenant is better then the old because Jesus is the literal sacrifice and promised to write the laws on our heart. Not because the 10 were made void.
.... it is possible to obey by the power of God in us. The flesh will fail but the Spirit is Almighty and can not fail.. by faith the Spirit is promised to us.

No he didn't contradict God because it was what Jesus said.

I know and am persuaded in the Lord Jesus, that nothing is profane of itself; except to the one considering anything to be profane, to that one it is profane. Romans 14:14
There is nothing from without a man that entering into him can make him profane: but the things which come out of him, those are they that make the man profane. Mark 7:15

you are right, they seldom do give a direct answer, sometimes say yes but later say no, but for me I know God does not change and He called the Ten commandments the covenant and that God Jesus asked to keep them all.
