Thanks, now I just need $4,000 to repair the damage my dads landlord caused to the side of the vehicle.
She got high on weed, took it without permission after the insurance lapsed and hit something causing a big dent, we saw the yellow paint and think she hit a light pole in a parking lot.
Thanks I appreciate it. yeah, I am getting unpacked from my move and getting set up to finish my tourism course this year.

It does, a friend has helped with the financing to get the paper work in order, and the insurance, and the safety...Hopefully it still drives. If so, at least it drives even if damaged!
I donated my father's vehicles recently. One was a standard truck. It needed minor work. I don't know how to work on a standard, or I would have kept that one.
LoL...I'm not at all from England as far as I know. But, I love that word!
Well several reasons, First She is hooked on weed, and I am talking full pledged addict.Um, why isn't she paying for it?
Well, you are Canadian...
maybe things are done different up there?

I understand Standard, I had to attempt it driving a road grader in my heavy Equipment Course, like everything else it comes with practice and also on Stevens tractors when I was watching his farm for him years ago.
I can change tires and fill fluids and that is the extent of my abilities to work on a vehicle.
lol ok,.

OH MAN! That's from back when Taco Bell was actually good .
I see, lol, I used to rent from a room from a mechanic, he felt the same way about newer cars.I would help my dad work on his vehicles a lot from childhood to adult years, mostly handing him tools, fetching things, holding things, and being yelled at ('cause that's what dad's do when they work on vehicles lol). Also, I'd help him hoist engines and transmissions out of trucks. 70's Chevy trucks were my favorite to help him with...I wish I had all his knowledge about vehicle repair. He didn't care for newer vehicles. He'd complain about all the wiring. In light of that, here's some humor for the thread...

I am glad you have those memories with your dad, my dad never did anything with me like that.

I see, lolI'm glad I have those memories too. Even though dad yelled a lot, I miss him like crazy.
He'd say something like, "Girl, it'll only take us 30 minutes. 2 hours at the most." We'd be working on something into the night lol.
