another thought-- it now seems to me some may think the Torah was an after thought that Christ and the Father regret putting in place.. LOL

the Torah reveals to all mankind the Holy Righteous Divine Nature and mind of GOD.
The Torah is incomplete, being only a written transcription of the law while Messiah Jesus was a living embodiment of the God the Father and He lives in union with the Father.
…17For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
18No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is Himself God and is at the Father’s side, has made Him known
(John 1:17-18)

Given your clos
Neither Jesus nor Paul ever enjoined tithing upon Christians, let alone gentile Christians.

Matthew 23
23Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier [matters] of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone. 24[Ye] blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.

tithing is not one of the weightier matters, but it does matter

Even Abraham paid tithes

In Matthew 5 Where Christ states I did not come to destroy the Torah --- ever one thinks to themselves; He actually means "He came to abolish it"

Again, I find it incredible so many ignore the very words out of the Mouth of Jesus Christ.

“Torah” is usually used to refer to the first five books of the OT; Genesis through Deuteronomy. Your use if it is clearly not the same, given that none of it was written when Abraham walked the earth, and Moses was 80 before God spoke the Law to him.

Again, you’re using the term in a less common sense.

What kind of a jackdonkey question is that?

It is a fact, just look at the 40,000 churches, do they obey "EVERY WORD OUT OF THE MOUTH OF GOD'?? nope!

Why? They and you do not like what Christ tells folks they must do,

Do you do every Word which MUST include the Old Testament as the new was not put together until the 300's AD?

I do my best to do so but I am not yet perfect, after the first resurrection I will do every word perfectly.

Foolish misrepresentation.

You haven’t studied tithing adequately. You haven’t studied the Christian’s relationship to the Law adequately.

Again, I find it incredible that you make such baseless and inaccurate accusations. You clearly have not learned how to interpret or rightly divide Scripture.

Nor do you.

What you don’t understand is that He didn’t intend for Christians to do so.

Why? They and you do not like what Christ tells folks they must do,
Yawn. You don’t know jack about me.

Do you do every Word which MUST include the Old Testament as the new was not put together until the 300's AD?
You don’t, so I see no need to answer your pathetic hypocritical Judaizer question.

I do my best to do so but I am not yet perfect, after the first resurrection I will do every word perfectly.
No, you won’t.

So many boxes they have to check so that they may die in peace.
Thank God I only have One, and He has checked me. #Breathing easy

In Matthew 5 Where Christ states I did not come to destroy the Torah --- ever one thinks to themselves; He actually means "He came to abolish it"

Abolish, destroy, two different words. The first means to make useless, obsolete; the 2nd means to destroy. Jesus
didn't destroy the law, but he did make it obsolete and useless

Abolish
G2673 καταργέω katargeo (kat-ar-ǰe'-ō) v.
1. to be entirely idle (useless).
2. to render entirely idle (useless).

Destroy
G2647 καταλύω kataluo (ka-ta-lï '-ō) v.
1. to loosen down (disintegrate).
2. (by implication) to demolish.

Righly dividing the word of truth is crucial. (2 Timothy 2:15)

In Malachi 3:8, we read - Will a mere mortal rob God? Yet you rob me. “But you ask, ‘How are we robbing you?’ “In tithes and offerings. 9 You are under a curse—your whole nation—because you are robbing me. The whole nation of Israel. Malachi is written to Israel under the old covenant of law.

Now certain folks will lift that out of context and try to teach that Christians are obligated to give a minimum of 10% of our income to our church. Others teach that preachers of these churches are turning the 10% tithe under the old covenant of law for Israel into a monetary 'legalistic prescription' for Christians under the new covenant.

In 2 Corinthians 9:5-7 we read: Therefore, I thought it necessary to exhort the brethren to go to you ahead of time, and prepare your generous gift beforehand, which you had previously promised, that it may be ready as a matter of generosity and not as a grudging obligation. But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver.

I don't see a "specific percentage" given anywhere for Christians to give under the new covenant, but I certainly believe in giving and not just to our church. Everything we own belongs to God and we certainly cannot out give God.

I have no issue with the call to give, but I see no biblical warrant for Christians to “tithe”. :)

No, we are to lean on the spirit of understanding and follow what it teaches. The 4th commandment is a stumbling stone to those who don't have spiritual eyes to see what the purpose of it was.

But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness. Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone; As it is written, Behold, I lay in Zion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. Romans 9:31-33
It doesn't say the Sabbath in the passage you quoted, you added it there and we are told not to add to God's Word. Paul is also very misunderstood, sadly to peoples determinant. If the Sabbath is a stumbling block, than so is only worshipping God, or not using His name in a holy manner or not stealing from our neighbor, this is all part of God's commandments written by the Holy Spirit- God's own testimony Exo31:18. The Holy Spirit is not going to lead people away from what is doing righteousness Psa119:172 Isa56:1-2 that is holy just and good Rom7:12

without looking it up Moses was around the 1200 to 1300 BC but I showed you Abraham was observing the Torah long before Moses.

One other point, God the Father and Jesus Christ --- before creation began-- planned all things and that MUST include the Torah -- the whole of the Old Testament is bound up in Torah.

Why do you hate the things of God some much?

Why do you falsely accuse is the real question here. Apparently you cannot discuss with other posters here without trying to create drama and trying to create arguements.

Since you are so enamored with the commandments, don't you know it is breaking the commandments to falsely accuse other people? I say ALL the commandments and not just the one, because you are held accountable for breaking ALL of them even if you break even the smallest part of one.

The hypocrisy you and others here evidence illustrates you do not actually believe in keeping commandments or you would not break them yourselves in front of the entire forum and maybe the whole world.

Why do you tell others to do what you do not do yourselves?

they would obey their work boss, why not God????? it is still possible but i guess they do not want to as of now but there is still some time but i know for certain the gates will be shut soon, after they it will be too late.
He did admit he does not read my posts as one point, they are a bit long and full of verses but I have to give an accurate picture on a topic, ill try to do better and keep them short.

While i was working , the director of my research unit never answered an e mail longer than 2 lines, after awhile, I started to write to him one line at a time with at the end of each (Y/N)? ...or giving him different numbered options lol. today our attention span has seriously diminished in part because of the technology we are using that demands constant attention, causes many interruptions and a great source of distractions.

I don't think your posts are overly long so don't compromise the full learning God wants you to share on this forum. Because believe it or not, these wonderful posts of yours are meant to strengthen God's people in these very last days where false teaching is on the increase. God's people will be given the power to read through all your posts fully and carefully, so don't worry if others refuse to read them.

The spirit that is leading one away from what God said Heb4:4 Exo20:8-11, is not the one we are to follow

Isa 8:20 To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there[a] is no light in them.

The Holy Spirit does not break the covenant that believers have with God through Christ's completed work. So, whatever spirit you insist you are following, it seems it is not the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is not against what the Holy Spirit wrote Exo31:18 Heb8:10 that is also in the Most Holy of God's Temple Rev15:5 Rev 11:19 that God asked us to keep Exo20:6 John14:15 Rev 14:12, but believe as you wish.

The 4th commandment is unique because carnal people can't see how it is fulfilled by the 2 great commandments, ie. to love God and man.

It's easy to see how love of man fulfills commandments 5-10, and how love of God fulfills commandments 1-3. But it takes spiritual eyes to see how love of God also fulfills the 4th commandment.

I have explained several times based on scripture why loving God does fulfill the 4th commandment, but people fixated on keeping rules rather than walking in the spirit can't see it. And so they stumble over it, and not taking Saturdays off becomes a scandal to them.

The Holy Spirit is not against what the Holy Spirit wrote Exo31:18 that God asked us to keep Exo20:6 John14:15, but believe as you wish.

God never asked anyone but the Israelites to keep the law with BLOOD sacrifices for every sin. Now that we know you falsely accuse (not the first time) what are you going to offer to have your sins forgiven? Jesus is the final sacrifice whose sinless blood offered was accepted by God and sins are forgiven through Him; He is the last High Priest.

You make things up and garble scripture until it is no longer as it is actually written. The Holy Spirit does not lead people to salvation through the commandments. That is nonsense you made up.

Not going to address the fact about you breaking the Torah because you falsely accused someone? Typical. You tell others what to do but don't do those things yourself
