Rev. 13:11
"And I beheld another beast
.....b) coming up out of the earth;
..........and he had two horns
.....like a lamb,
b) and he spake as a dragon."

The chiasmus structure has a reverse in the antithesis.

Similar to the first beast arising from the population of the sea (Rev. 13:1), this beast arises from the population of the earth. These two metaphors, earth and sea, are used throughout the Book of Revelation to represent the populations following these two individuals.

One example is Rev. 10:2 KJV
"And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth,"

From Rev. 10:2, the angel has authority over the population that follows the Rev. 13:1 beast, and the population that follows the Rev. 13:11 beast. The little book pertains to these two populations, among others.

Rev. 13:12
"And he
.....exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him,
..........and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein
.....to worship the first beast,
whose deadly wound was healed."

The beast of the earth (Rev. 13:11)
.....exercises the power of the beast of the sea (Rev. 13:1), which is Russia
..........and causes his followers, metaphorically called the earth
.....to worship the beast of the sea
whose deadly wound was healed (Rev. 13:3)

Rev. 13:13
"And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,"

And the beast of the earth causes the beast of the sea to make weapons come down on the earth.

Rev. 13:14
"And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live."

This verse is the chiasmus center of the Rev. 13:11-18 series as follows:

a) v. 13:11, the beast
......b) v. 13:12, worship the beast
............c) v. 13:13, great wonders
..................d) v. 13:14, deception
............c) v. 13:15, image of the beast
.......b) v. 13:16-17, mark of the beast
a) v. 13:18, the beast

He deceives by presenting himself as a lamb and then causing destruction as a dragon (Rev. 13:11).

Rev. 13:13
"And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,"

And the beast of the earth causes the beast of the sea to make weapons come down on the earth.

Which is nuclear and conventional missiles and bombs, something people 2000 years ago had no way of understanding

Similar to the first beast arising from the population of the sea (Rev. 13:1), this beast arises from the population of the earth. These two metaphors, earth and sea, are used throughout the Book of Revelation to represent the populations following these two individuals.

IMO the seas symbolize the world, and the earth symbolizes man. So the beast that arises out of the world is an economic/political system (that is now in our midst, though not yet come into its full power and authority) and the beast that arises out of the earth is a man, or group of people,

Rev. 13:15
"And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast,
.....that the image of the beast should both speak,
and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed"

This is the image of the beast verse here in Chapter Thirteen. The dragon creates the image of the beast such that it both speaks and causes those who do not worship the image to be killed. In the next verse, we see that worshiping the beast involves taking a mark.

Rev. 13:16
"And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:"

From the previous verse, those who worship the beast take the mark. I suppose this is better than carrying a card. So instead of being card-carrying members, these people are mark-carrying members.

Since the Savior has decreed that anyone taking the mark will not qualify for the harvest (Rev. 16:2), then this dragon has caused not only his people, the earth, but those of the sea, and others, eternal hell (Rev. 14:9-11).

Making this dragon a person who is deserving of being called a wicked, evil, piece of trash.

Rev. 13:17
"And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name."

This verse tells us the purpose of the mark. So that individuals can buy and sell in the mark of the beast economy. But we also see that others can participate in this mark of the beast economy as well. So there are three possible ways to participate in this economy.
1) taking the mark of the beast
2) having the name of the beast
3) having the number of his name

Participating involves worshiping the Rev. 13:1 beast as their god (Rev. 13:4). Individuals must subject themselves to the beast, who hates and attacks the saints of God (Rev. 13:6-7). This violates the Savior's position of loving God and our fellow man, the two greatest commandments (Matt. 22:37-40).

If someone hates their fellow man, then they hate God. We see these actions in the world today. However, we are not forced to participate. However, in this mark of the beast economy, individuals must participate in one of the three ways stated above. Those who do not will be killed. This beast is such a nice lamb, but he speaks as a dragon (Rev. 13:11).

This is Lucifer's way of forcing the world to hate God, and the world joins in (Rev. 12:11-12).

Rev. 13:18
"Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six."

The beast is a lamb speaking as a dragon (Rev. 13:11), therefore, he is the savior of the world.
The number of the Savior is 400.
The number of Francis is 266.
Therefore, Francis, 666, is the beast referenced in Rev. 13:18.
Since Francis has passed, then Rev. 13:18 is a type.
The shadow of the type is Leo.

Rev. 13:8
"And all that dwell upon the earth
.....shall worship him,
..........whose names are not written
.....in the book of life of the Lamb
slain from the foundation of the world.

An awesome verse. The structure is beautiful.
Postribbers omit that all take the mark that are not in the book.
Then, of course, they omit, that all die refusing the mark.
That way they can keep the made up fallacy, that they are supposedly raptured postrib.

I usually never agree with your spin.
But, when I do disagree, I usually intelligently prove my point SCRIPTURALLY, INSTEAD of leaving some red ex.

...then running off.....

Unable to defend .
Got it.

Yes the AC does kill all refusing the mark as the bible states.

Put a red ex in God's word.

Since you are unable to defend your spin.

Postribers love the red ex feature.
They can sit back, refuse scripture , and punch buttons instead of any man to man exchange.

Juvenile mess.

What do they do with trolls in this site?
Seems like they are given a platform to thrive.

Your bias colors your interpretation of Revelation. There is far, far greater evil in the world.
Rev 7
13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?
14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
15 Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.
Rev 13
7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.
8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.
16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

I do not understand your position.
War is upon the saints (Rev. 13:7)
Some saints are gathered (Rev. 12:6)
Other saints are gathered (Rev. 12:14)
They came out of great tribulation (Rev. 7:14)

This clearly disputes the pre-trib doctrine.
