I wish you understood that there way of government was forced upon them. In the beginning Israel wanted to be a sovereign nation known as the Jewish nation. What happened post Hitler made this impossible. There's alot of history untold about this.
Stalin wanted to and did conquer half if not more of Europe as payback for freeing them of the nazis.
The churches in europe also gave a oath to socialism and fascism. Jews were further scattered and became out cast in many countries. Forbidden to enter.
Israel being a new nation also got confronted by this communist plot but refused. The U.S. proposed a solution of Israel becoming
A democracy country but yet sovereign in some respects. The iron curtain as it was called is the reason Israel became a democracy.
Lots of untold events post ww2 which needs to be looked at.

Ordinary people are forced into many things by those who have more power, but they are also brainwashed into many things.
Zionism as a plan predates Hitler.
Greater Israel is an ambitious plan, and "Israel" is not forced to do it.
"Israel" does not have to be at war with 8 different countries at the same time.

Young Israelis have better things to do than serving the IDF, and the true number of soldiers killed is far greater than what we are told.
If it was my lot to be born in modern Israel I would look for a better place to bring up my kids, as many others have done.

Christians are not forced to abandon sober minded understanding of the Bible in pursuit of war mongering religious fanaticism.
Jesus will come with the new Jerusalem from above, He will not abandon it to live in a temple made with hands.

Jesus comes to defend what's left of Israel bridle high in blood does not sound so peaceful to me.
All nations turn against Israel.
It's true but so very sad that a nation has to draft there youth for military service. Being surrounded by your enemies might have something to do with that wouldn't you agree?
The U.S. used to have a draft also.

Revelation 14:20
KJ21
And the wine press was trodden outside the city, and blood came out of the wine press, even unto the horse bridles, for the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.

All nations turn against Israel.

I am guessing that you are getting this from Zechariah 14?
Zechariah 14:2 "For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity,"
This is the Babylonian captivity, and Zechariah lived before it.
The reason that there is a plurality of nations involved is because Babylon was an empire controlling many nations.
The chapter also foretells the (first) coming of Jesus.

John is shown a vision in this chapter of the fall of "Babylon", following which Jesus is seen coming on a white cloud holding a sickle for the harvest (V.14).
John is also shown a vision of God's wrath, (Vs. 19&20) hence all the blood.
It sounds as if you are seeing earthly Jerusalem in all of this, because there is mention made of a temple and a city in the chapter.
Notice that the angel in Vs. 17 "came out of the temple which is in heaven", and it is in fact heavenly Jerusalem which is referred to.

Anybody can be surrounded with enemies if they are hostile enough, it is not a measure of innocence.
Both Australia and America have been aggressors in war before too.
It is customary for entities that do these things to persuade themselves that they are victims in some way.
Australians once thought that they were defending the "free world" against Iraqi weapons of mass destruction.
Perhaps some Americans still think that one was justified because it helped "Israel".
If modern Israel to you is like the Pope is to the Catholics it will hard to persuade you it has ever done wrong though.

This is impossible because when the 7th trumpet sounds all of his people on earth will be lifted from away from the earth. Then the only ones left on earth will be his enemies upon whom he will pour out his bowls of wrath.

For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17

Zechariah returned to Jerusalem from Babylon, so he prophesied after the captivity. Zechariah 14:1-3 describes the destruction of Jerusalem by either Antiochus Epiphanes II or the Romans

Zec 12:8 In that day shall the LORD defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the LORD before them.

Zec 12:9 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

Him Whom They Have Pierced
Zec 12:10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.

Did they look on him that was pierced yet? Future event right here. Not Babylon.

Yes a remnant did mourn for the king of Israel when he was crucified, and they mourned privately instead of publicly as all kings would have been mourned normally , as described in Zechariah 12:11-14.

Verse 12 is obviously about Pentecost when the spirit was poured out on Jerusalem.

Israel defending itself is what bothers you? Israel claiming what God gave it. Is that bothersome to you as well? This forum is full of so called christians who hate Israel. Its part of prophecy but it is quite odd that some claim to love God but hate His chosen people.
