I do not celebrate this day
Cool. Please remove Chapters 1 and 2 from the Gospel of Matthew and Luke to donate to someone that does.

Christmas is a "tradition of men" which Jesus Christ warned against
Do you realize how many things are based upon the bible but are not in the Bible, how about easter, halloween?
The "where does it say it is okay in the bible" lame argument.the fact it was a one time event is illogical???? the fact it has not be taught by the apostles is illogical ??
by the way Christ was born on the First day of the Feast of Tabernacle
“Long dead, but heavily credentialed academically J B Lightfoot is the author. He died as Chaplain in ordinary to Queen Victoria (British Israelism connection obv.). Considered one of the greatest biblical minds of his time. Never heard of him before, but...guy's writings all pertain to and based in Jewish writings & history.
"About John Lightfoot’s Bible Commentary.
A Commentary on the New Testament From the Talmud and Hebraica by John Lightfoot"
He wrote:
"VI. It is probable Christ was born at the feast of Tabernacles.
- So it ariseth exactly to three-and-thirty years and a half, when he died at the feast of the Passover”
The entire passage is found here, about 1/3 of the way down:

I also found this on line.
"Matthew Henry states:
"It is supposed by many that our blessed Saviour was born much about the time of the Feast of Tabernacles;
He left his mansions of light above to tabernacle among us (John 1:14), and he dwelt in booths.
The Bible does not specifically say the date of Jesus' birth. We know it was not during the winter months because the sheep were in the pasture (Luke 2:8).
A study of the time of the conception of John the Baptist reveals he was conceived about Sivan 30, the eleventh week.
When Zechariah was ministering in the temple, he received an announcement from God of a coming son. The eighth course of Abia, when Zechariah was ministering, was the week of Sivan 12 to 18 (Killian n.d.).
Adding forty weeks for a normal pregnancy reveals that John the Baptist was born on or about Passover (Nisan 14).
We know six months after John's conception, Mary conceived Jesus (Luke 1:26-33). Therefore, Jesus would have been conceived six months later in the month of Kislev. Kislev 25 is Hanukkah. Was the “light of the world” conceived on the festival of lights?
Starting at Hanukkah, which begins on Kislev 25 and continues for eight days, and counting through the nine months of Mary’s pregnancy, one arrives at the approximate time of the birth of Jesus at the Festival of Tabernacles (the early fall of the year).
During the Feast of Tabernacles, God required all male Jews to come to Jerusalem.
Joseph and Mary were unable to find a room at the inn because of the influx of so many pilgrims.
They may have been given shelter in a Sukkah, which is built during a seven-day period each year accompanying the celebration of the Feast of Tabernacles.
The fields would have been dotted with Sukkoths during this harvest time to temporary shelter animals.
The Hebrew word “stable” is called a Sukkoth (Gen. 33:17).
"And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn (Luke 2:7)."
Joseph and Mary took the child and flew to Egypt and remained there until they were told by God that Herod was dead.
Joseph and Mary brought the baby Jesus into Jerusalem forty days from His birth for Mary's purification and the child's dedication (according to Torah this had to be done within forty days of the birth of a male child–not doing so is considered a sin).
This indicates that Herod died within the same forty days, because as long as Herod was alive, they could not appear at the Temple. (According to Josephus’ calculations, Herod's death occurred during the Autumn in the fourth year before the Common Era 4 b.c.e.).
End of Quote:
Concerning the date of birth: From 1/14 until 7/15 is exactly 6 months, going forwards or backwards, thus being born on 7/15 and dying on 1/14 proves Christ died at exactly 33 ½ years of age – to the day
They are indeed in the bible. The resurrection is in the bible for which Christians in English remember and refer to as Easter. Halloween is the eve of the Hallowed (Saints). Saints are in the bible.
The Gospels are of the utmost importance.I mean, I guess the event of the birth of our LORD wasn't that important it was only in two Gospels.
Are the Gospels, like, important?
You didn't ask about what foreign countries I have lived in. So how about you, how many of of those 20 cities have you been to and how many states? You were the one that was talking about needing experience in more places than just one.All 'Merica, is that why you think Santa and reindeer are part of Christmas?

You didn't answer my question. That is why I and others ignore you. There is no genuine discussion with you.You obviously have not "lived" or immersed yourself in a non-American country.
I did not ask what foreign countries you were in for any significant time because you answered that. I know you do not speak any foreign languages on a conversational level.
19/20 of those cities, 43/50 states, 30 countries. You got me beat. I have only been to 32 out of 50 US states. 3 different countries including the US.
You didn't answer my question.
About what cities I have visited? You understand that was rhetoric, right? I cannot imagine how people think Santa = Christmas. Or Easter = Bunnies. That is narrow minded. That is how it is celebrated in Anglo-Saxon cultures. Hence, a remark about being out of your county.
As you asked the question, and I really do not care, I have no idea how many cities I have visited and I honestly cannot tell you without thinking about it how many cities I have visited, much less lived/worked. Is that important? No!
I can count the number of US states I have not visited on one hand. I would need a map and some time for Mexican states.
I have no idea how many states I have been, I know I have been to all four American commonwealths.
Most ministers know Christ was not born on December 25, as do most Christians.
Most ministers know “Christmas” came from paganism. As do most Christians.
And yet it is the major event of the year for the 40,000 kinds of Christianity.
What does Santa Claus and Christmas trees have to do with the birth of our Savior?
And of course, let’s not leave out Rudolf the red noses reindeer.
If Jesus Christ did not observe or teach it, nor Christ’s 13 Apostles and is not in the New Testament.
Why do you?
What if our celebration of the Lord's birth on the day that begins in the evening of December 24th and the 25th is the dress rehearsal of Palm Sunday when Jesus enters the city riding on a donkey? So should we stop celebrating other holidays which Jesus does not specifically tell us to honor? Birthdays, Independence Day, Veterans Day, Easter, Israeli Independence Day 1948. Nations have always memorialized days for good reasons. Some people esteem one day above another, some treat every day the same.
Spoiler - The first ‘Christmas’ was likely the wise men coming to worship Jesus well after he is born. The wise men came from a far away country after they saw signs in the sky revealing to them the messiah was born. They didn’t arrive at his birth, they started their journey after he was born. Yet they were clearly celebrating and honoring his birth. Then the wise men left to remain unheard of. At the same time, Mary and Joseph are warned in a dream to flee to Egypt.
Who were the wise men (Oriental Scientists, Srongs: 3097)? Not Jews. Though the messiah was revealed to them separate from the Jews. No one else is recorded recognizing the signs they followed to Jesus. The author of the movie above has an interesting idea that maybe they were descendants of Daniel or his disciples.
Major Mind Blow - What if Christmas was memorialized by the wise men after they returned to their own country? Instead of celebrating his actual birthday, they celebrated the day they came to worship Jesus. The story of the wise men probably wasn’t widely known until much later. It makes sense that it wasn’t memorialized by the Jews or Christian’s early on because it didn’t happen to them. However, it makes sense that it would be adopted by the Christian’s once they learn of the holiday.
What if our celebration of the Lord's birth on the day that begins in the evening of December 24th and the 25th is the dress rehearsal of Palm Sunday when Jesus enters the city riding on a donkey?
38 Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest. 39 And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples. 40 And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.
We'll know if we have the fulfillment by the next two things:
Next -- weeping for the apostate church which is asleep
41 And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it, 42 Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes. 43 For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side, 44 And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.
2. The Lord going into the temple and casting out them that sell therein.
45 And he went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold therein, and them that bought; 46 Saying unto them, It is written, My house is the house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of thieves.
So let's see if we have bankruptcies, layoffs, etc. We will just see the beginning prior to the rapture, like the Titanic hitting an iceberg before it tilts up.
3. We'll see governments trying to outlaw Christians
47 And he taught daily in the temple. But the chief priests and the scribes and the chief of the people sought to destroy him, 48 And could not find what they might do: for all the people were very attentive to hear him.
