The will is "freed" by grace.

What Grace does is that it forces your flesh take a back seat, while allowing the soul to make right choices.

To keep us in the diver's seat?
We must use 1 John 1:9 to name our sins, to stay filled with the Spirit.
It's both the will is saved by grace and freed by grace it's all of Grace

Grace is not making people believe, it is restraining the sin nature so you are free to accept or reject His truth. His grace does the same thing after salvation. You are not made to believe the truth, you must believe of your own free will. We would all be thinking exactly the same thing if God is making us believe. Why you can't see that I don't know unless you think we who disagree with you are not saved. That could be the only reason I can think of as to why you could explain disagreements among Christians.

How about the scriptures? God requires people to believe in Him for salvation. If God is doing what He asks us to do, why is He asking us to do it?

John 6:29
Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”

Do it or don't do it, I don't much care anymore what you think.

I came to believe by the grace and truth of God being presented to me. No-one is making me believe, not even God. I freely believe the Lord Jesus Christ is the Saviour of the world, that He died and rose on the third day. The Lord presented His evidence to me in much the same way He did when He walked this Earth and I believed the evidence.

Don't hold your breath waiting for it to sink in....

If we all were experiencing the filling of the Spirit? We would not be having this problem we see here.
When someone tells you that Jesus only died for the elect? When you know it says he died for the sins of the whole world?
You think you are going to make their flesh believe what you know to say?

There is something very wrong here. It is as if some are here to make sure no one can clarify truth for Christians to be strengthened by. After a while it becomes redundant, predictable, and ridiculous.

Jesus said the Truth will make you free. Satan wants to dominate and control the thoughts of man. He will not sit by idly and just let it happen. Just take care of knowing what you know.... and don't waste time with those who promote false doctrine as a way of life.

The word commandment is fair to say That God commands people to believe, And through out ruling the unruly in the desert, his commandments generally made people believe, so much so that many maintained order, his intension was to make a great nation out of the people he had chosen, to make them see the truth the light, and the way.

However we could look at the word command in different light, as a guiding influence as well, which probably would be more suiting towards those whom are saved, as they can generally accept being made to believe , which is a nice positive way of looking it, in the saved, but for the unruly well this is where God commands get seen in a different light altogether, a bit like your forceful understanding,

Btw you can not care all you like about me, seif care is something that should be honoured first in the saved 1 Corinthians 6:29-20 which can only come about after God makes you a new heart.

But caring for yourself really be should treating others how you would like to be treated, which sadly the highly ignorant company you keep here doesn't do that much apart from when it suits them mate 🙂

I am going to make more Scripture videos...

I was thinking of you and all your posts and patience you show to some here, when I was working on the "Thank You, Jesus" one...

I am still listening to it... so thank you!!! And, you are welcome .:)
Cheers Keep up the good work mate 🙂

The Israelites were constantly disobeying God and coming under discipline. The whole "making them believe" didn't work out too well seeing as they crucified their Messiah.

You live in a very different world than I do.

Not what I said. I said I did not care what you think, I did not say I did not care for you.

God commanded many Israelites to believe and many did, and many where probably like you, saying I won't be told to do anything, and then they probably made other people believe there way, by enforcing there will on people, that they can believe if they want to, only trouble is with that idea is there probably in hell now.

Deuteronomy 6:4-5

The commandment to believe

Genesis 15:6 shows belief was highly valued

Jeremiah 29:12-13 commands belief but shows God will know if it is belief

The commandments all pretty much command belief 🙂

If God is doing what He asks us to do, why is He asking us to do it?
If God enabled you to trust Him and believe, why do you boast as if you did it yourself? Could you have possibly done it without His grace? If not, then why must you attempt to say [I did it]?
It is His work within your heart that causes the change, a heart of stone will not believe nor can it!. . . . .

Acts 17 verse 30 ~ Although God overlooked the ignorance of earlier times, He now commands all people everywhere to repent.

1-Corinthians4-7b-John3-27-Romans9-15-16s.png

1 Corinthians ch 4 verse 7b; John 3 verse 27; Romans 9 verses 15-16 ~ What do you have that you did not receive? And if you did also receive it, why do you boast as not having received it? John replied, "A man can receive only that which is given him from heaven." "I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion." So then, it does not depend on man's desire or effort, but on God's mercy.
