The Penalty of death applies to all 10 of the Commandments.

Where is it stated the penalty of death no longer applies to the Sabbath Commandment?

In the Torah there are penalties for physical sins. Physical sin not covered by the 10 Commandment do not impose the penalty of death, just physical punishments.

All spiritual sin carries the penalty of death, which is why Christ had to die.

I can find nothing removing the penalty of death for breaking the Sabbath Commandment.

If you have found it, I would like to see it.

Yes HE did, but the question is HOW?

Jesus Christ paid for the sins of every single person that has lived before, now and from this day forward

The penalty of death for our transgressions of GOD HOLY LAW put HIM to death,, We all are the reason Christ came to die.

Mankind has transgressed all 10 of the Commandment since the beginning, just one, say the 4th and the penalty is automatic.

I'm assuming that you are leading to the assertion that the Sabbath commandment remains to be kept as well as the other nine, and I won't argue that as much as I'd like to ask HOW, as we know how Moses commanded it be kept, but HOW do we keep it as Jesus commands? For instance, Jesus pointed to one the 10 in Matthew 5:21-22 saying, "But I tell you..."

Comment:

In almost 60 years of study I have found none of the 10 Commandments have been blotted out, but they have become greater.
they were just physical, now they are spiritual..
Christ, stated; if you sin just in your mind, it is sin and the penalty of death is due.

Here is another way to understand:

the Old Covenant was a physical contract with a physical people with a physical law and physical promises and a physical priest hood.

the New Covenant is a Spiritual contract with a spiritual people with a spiritual law and spiritual promises and a spiritual priest.

It is now both physical and spiritual

Jesus told the woman at the well, "God is spirit and His worshippers must worship in spirit and in truth" and in Matthew 11:28 He commands, "Come to Me, all you who are weary and heavy burdened, and I will give you rest." However, anticipating the argument that He didn't use the Hebrew word, shabbat, but rather the Greek anapauso, as being asserted as something completely different, He also declared Himself the "Lord of the Sabbath (Matthew 12:8)," so, who would argue that He couldn't, or wouldn't, give me sabbath (which was made for man and not man for the sabbath Mark 2:27) any day of the week? Being the master even of the sabbath, even of all time.

The seventh letter of the Hebraic alephbet is the zayin, with is written with a pictograph of a sword, and is representative of 'time.' And The Lord of Time can cut time any which way He chooses.

First show me where He changed any thing, even the Old Covenant was not changed it was increased from physical to spiritual

next, remember the Sabbath did not come from the Covenant or the Commandments,, it came into existence on the 7th Day.
the Sabbath was established at the very beginning ----

For Jesus Christ to rest on the 7th day and make that day and only that day special, i would believe it IS A SPECIAL DAY.

the 1000 years that Christ will rule earth is the 7th day, 1000 year days and it is a day of rest from sin.

You're free to allow the Sabbath to lord over you. If I let any of the commandments that brought death reign over me, I wouldn't be alive.

Why should I accept your opinion of what Jesus says, if I can listen to Him myself?

I agree you must listen to Him,

after living almost 9 decades I have found when it comes to biblical doctrine and truth, if you were to ask 100 people what a certain scripture says,, you would get 150 answers.

I am attempting to encourage people to make sure what they believe is the Truth.

Colossians 2:8 - 17

8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:
12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.
13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
17 Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.

#1 “tradition of men” – not of God

#2 “circumcision made without hands,” -- cutting away our human nature and replacing it with God’s divine nature and that Nature is the Torah which will become our nature at the first resurrection. Jeremiah 31: 33

#3 “And you, being dead in your sins”,, baptism is joining Christ in death, our sinful self is dead at baptism.

#4 verse 13. 4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law (Torah). All our sins Are paid for by the death of Christ, Christ paid our penalty of death for our sins against God and sin is verse 4.

As you must be aware: Christ and His 13 Apostles command we must repent, if no Torah there is nothing to repent of.

#5 verse14 We have a handwritten charge against each of us, charging us with Trespasses/sins against God, Christ took them all upon Himself, he paid our penalty. Our sins, not the Torah, Killed Christ.

This did not end the Torah,, how does nailing the Torah to the stake do any thing?

#6 let no man judge how you eat or drink in observing a Holyday or Sabbath but let the body of Christ –the Church of God

Paul's writings are hard to understand plus translators translate as per their own beliefs,

Is circumcision a tradition of men or of God?

#2 “circumcision made without hands,” -- cutting away our human nature and replacing it with God’s divine nature and that Nature is the Torah which will become our nature at the first resurrection. Jeremiah 31: 33
The point was that the penalty for physical uncircumcision was death. That law, and all the others, are fulfilled in Christ.

As you must be aware: Christ and His 13 Apostles command we must repent, if no Torah there is nothing to repent of.
Our repentance isn't to obedience to the Torah. Our repentance is to believing upon Christ for salvation.

#5 verse14 We have a handwritten charge against each of us, charging us with Trespasses/sins against God, Christ took them all upon Himself, he paid our penalty. Our sins, not the Torah, Killed Christ.
Christ laid His body down for us.

The Torah is fulfilled in Christ. Death is dead. Christ is risen.

#6 let no man judge how you eat or drink in observing a Holyday or Sabbath but let the body of Christ –the Church of God

I explain it for you simply. Christ fulfilled all of the law. Not just some parts. All of it. We who believe on Him for salvation are not obligated to keep the Torah. Even the Sabbath.
