According to Hebrews 1:3, Jesus upholds all things by the word of His power. Seems to me that God influences everyone to some degree.
We would not even be alive if it were not for Him.

Isaiah40-6-B-8s.png

Isaiah 40 verses 6B-8 ~ All flesh is like grass, and all its glory like the flowers of the field. The grass withers and the flowers fall when the breath of the LORD blows on them; indeed, the people are grass. The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God stands forever.

Wow you're getting agitated. I can't talk with people who use their potty mouth language.

So if Jesus was free to refuse the cross so are we free to do his will it not. Some times we choose the former and sometimes we choose the latter.

Was Jesus ever in bondage/slavery/captive to a sin nature, the devil and the world?

As it did in Jesus.

Well I don't accept people ladies or otherwise to use that kind of language when talking to me. I didn't talk to her that way. I will talk any way I like to people who speak to me that way. If they ban me they ban me but I don't let people mistreat me with words
when it comes to ladies you should take notice 🙂

An emoticon is not a word. Grow up, you conflater you! And please, stop being such a hypocrite.

Hey, get in line LOL

I don't think they answer questions... they ask them, and demand answers, and then don't see them.

John8-47Matthew13-11-2Corinthians4-4Romans8-9b.png

“Whoever belongs to God hears the words of God. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God.” “The knowledge of the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them.” The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. If anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ. John 8 v 47; Matthew 13 v 11; 2 Corinthians ch 4 v 4; Romans 8 v 9b

God DIRECTS the steps of ALL men (in the distributive sense) -- both saints and sinners. Man's ways are not in himself.
Proverbs19-21-Jeremiah10-23b.png

Proverbs 19 verse 21 Jeremiah 10 verse 23b ~ Many plans are in a man’s heart, but the purpose of the LORD will prevail. No one who walks directs his own steps.

A void it is.

They think it’s appropriate for reprobates to be judged for their innate condition given by god, who are born rejected by god, without any hope of salvation. o_O
Eh, no, you refuse to deal with the fact that you did nothing to deserve life in the first place, that all are sinners deserving of death.

But you think you were capable of doing what Scripture says you could not. So therefore you deserve more life.

If that were so?
Your God sounds more like a deified Caligula.

When God tells us that he will have mercy on whom he will have mercy?

That means stop begging/demanding God to save someone you want saved.

For you do not know that person as well as you think you do.
God will have mercy if that person warrants mercy.
Stop telling God what to do.
He will have mercy on whom he will have mercy...

.......

So...no one in scripture ever prayed to God for the salvation of the lost?

Plus your creative interpretation doesn't fit the context of Rom 9 -- not even a tiny bit. Prayer is nowhere in view in that chapter.

Proverbs 19 verse 21 Jeremiah 10 verse 23b ~
Many plans are in a man’s heart, but the purpose of the LORD will prevail. No one who walks directs his own steps.

A German Shepherd has attributes inborn in his heart.
But the purpose of the farmer, who has that shepherd dog guarding the entrance to his farm, will have the farmer's purpose to prevail.

God chooses believers for his purpose according to what attribute we have been born again to do.
Same difference.

So...no one in scripture ever prayed to God for the salvation of the lost?

Sure. Honest prayer leaves such a request in the Lord's hands.

I stated something different.

That means stop begging/demanding God to save someone you want saved.

Ever see someone agonizing and telling God to save a loved one?
The answer for that person was...
“I will have mercy on whom I have mercy,
and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.”
It does not, therefore, depend on human desire or effort, but on God’s mercy.

Get the context. It would help break it down for what principle was being stated.

Is that how He chose His people in the OT? He said they were the least of all, weaker than all the nations around them.
Weaker than all?

What a great way to see God's benefits in grace be manifested!
God gets the glory!
The people get the benefits.
