I miss the America where we cared about each other. The America that was inclusive and didn't care about what country you came from as long as you came through the proper channels. The America that welcomed diversity and wasn't afraid to make a new friend no matter what your skin color was.

I miss the America who had empathy for those less fortunate and needed a helping hand and were grateful to get that help. The America where families came together at holidays and loved each other and weren't fighting over a political parties ideals. Where loving each other meant something. That is the America I miss.

I hear you. I miss that too. It was a great time ... and the Democrats ruined it.
But as with everything, when you put God first it becomes wonderful. For example this binary 2-party show is very enjoyable to watch still. Or seeing triggered people in stores trying hard to sound "intelligent" or "inclusive".
So all's good including our nostalgia.

Hallelujah for another beautiful year with The Kingdom of God in our hearts!

....He said, as he complained about America not doing a good enough job policing the world.

Yeah, it was nice for them to take a break from killing each other and dragging the US into their problems.

They threw themselves to the wolves by listening to John McCain and Lindsey Graham.

Yeah right! I wish.

Oh, no- It matters ALOT to you because you constantly make threads about it.
I care about people. America's decline troubles me because it is people who suffer. Isaiah was commanded to prophesy to people who refused to listen. God knew the end result, but Isaiah was commissioned to preach anyway.

Paul preached to the Jews first, even though he knew what to expect.

Jonah preached to Ninevah. That city repented for a time. God's judgement can be delayed if his people repent. Ninevah was eventually destroyed. They did not heed the word of the prophet a second time.

Bro, we ain't suffering over here. We good. We got air conditioning in the winter, not just summer, we got big cars that use like 2 miles per gallon, we got big roads and spaces, plenty of abundance where people throw the food away actually ... so yeah we good over here.

Whatever happened to the America I used to know? You know, the defender of democracy, liberty, human rights and other trivialities. Once they mattered. Not any more.

My rant is because President Trump intends recognise Ukrainian territory as Russian. This is unconscionable. It rewards military aggression of the worst kind. I do not begin to understand why Mr Trump would sell out a friendly nation to a war criminal. If Mr Trump just left everyone alone, that I could understand. It's stupid decision, but at least does no harm. Ukraine is not chess piece, it is an independent nation with real people who are being murdered daily by Putin's missiles. Targets are schools, apartments and civilians.

MAGA? I doubt that America can ever recover it's moral compass. "Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people." Proverbs 13:4 Mr Trump has done a lot of good things. His dealings with Russia show that he is morally bankrupt and clueless when it comes to dealing with Putin.

Respectfully, I don’t think other countries’ citizens get a voice in our politics. I kind of view it is as if a random person was saying something derogatory about my mother or other family. Even if it’s true, it’s not their place to have that conversation with me because I’m obligated to side with my family.

Now my response, there is about 100% Chance you are getting propaganda, even the BBC recently got caught doctoring trump speeches.

Ukrain is also very corrupt for many decades. We have many Ukrainians that had to flee the Ukrain because of their government over 20 years ago (in my city, I’ve met them personally). They have been at war with Russia forever. They chose to also fight a losing battle. The Ukrainian government is still very corrupt and took bribes from our corrupt government. Our government has changed and most of the citizens are happy to stop robbing our citizens to pay bribes to other countries. What is your country doing to help?

We are helping with what we can. We have sent anti drone weapons (known as Slinger) and Bushmaster protected vehicles. We have also given Abrams tanks, howitzers, ammunition, air to ground missiles and anti-tank weapons. We've given financial aid too.

The Western world should be helping Ukraine purely for self interest, if nothing else. Europe has been shamefully lax in defending its own borders. You seem to forget that America is part of NATO. If Ukraine falls, Russia will be on NATO's borders. Better to push Russia back now than for America to be required to honour its NATO commitments. So far, America has donated mostly obsolescent equipment and provided valuable intelligence. However, it's been enough to keep the much vaunted Russian army at bay for nearly four years.

I agree that there is corruption in Ukraine. Ukraine is the lesser of the evils. If a Ukrainian official is investigated, he resigns. If a Russian falls foul of Putin's regime, he ends up "falling" out of a window.

It's not the individuals who are the problem. Everyone just want to get on with their lives. I know a family where the wife is from Siberia and her husband from Ukraine. Recently, she wen to visit her family. He stayed home, even though he is an Australian citizen. He dared not risk going into Russia. I don't blame him.

NATO commitments get iffy when people have dirty hands. When America was attacked on 9/11 there was a lot of talk that our NATO Alli’s weren’t honoring their commitments. As they remained silent and not even responding, that was my first inclination that maybe it was a false flag, then it turned out it probably was. Other countries have intelligence too and don’t run blind to bail people out of their own misdeeds.

It’s hard to know what is true, I’m on a separate continent. What We’ve been told is America has given something like 100x as everyone else. There is not a lot that our President can do to control Russia or China, let alone both of them together.

Zelensky is no angel. Someday probably after he is dead, the dirt will come out. So Trump can broker a deal or keep shoveling U.S. dollars into a bottomless pit.

Homelessness is not a suffering in USA, it's a lifestyle.
Agreed. A high percentage live that way because they want to. Its not hard to make a living and eventually get ahead in this country. Of course you need to go to work everyday. The left has convinced a lot of people they are entitled. If the marxists ever get total control the free ride will end. No going back from that.

This is true.
I have also shown this to my kids a few times when i have tried to give food to a homeless person. Not only they don't say thank you, but they yell or curse at you for giving them food. They want money instead so they can do drugs !
This isn't true for all of course but i have rarely met a homeless person who was in need of food.
I remember a genuine case of a young asian kid who was in the street and looked very sad and almost crying with a table that said "my room was stolen, i need bus money to go to Connecticut". I stopped in a parking lot and spoke to him and gave him the whole amount for a bus ticket to his home in Connecticut.
But, most of them will yell, curse or even try to hit you if you give them food.
"We ain't here for food. We need money!"

I have always had a revulsion for foreigners from places like Australia, Canada, and Europe that disrespect the USA.

It sickens me. They would ALL be a part of Hitler's 1000 yr Reich, or slaves to the Empire of the Sun under Japan were it not for America saving them!

What % of THEIR GDP do they spend on keeping the bad guys in check?

How many of THEIR citizens do they have stationed around the Globe preventing evil from running amok?

The unmitigated GALL they have to criticize us because we don't want to forever perpetuate an unwinnable war, that has already killed more than a million souls, with our treasure, weapons, and eventually OUR men.

ALL WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU IS THANK YOU AMERICA!!!!

Now that's not necessarily true and you know it! It was funny though because it is true for some folks. I saw a guy pushing a shopping cart so knew he was homeless and he was and I think I gave him a few bucks? But we talked and he said God told him to sell his house and give to the poor for treasure in heaven and so he did. He basically had a cart full of bibles that he pushed and would give bibles away. So there's an exception to your rule right there.

I'm another one! I've worked my entire life and never been homeless (except once for two months) but that was the Lord getting me ready to receive a free house from Him! I suppose He wanted to make sure I appreciated it! I do...

After the rapture those who are left behind will find out what the earth is like without the saints.

I do acknowledge that this is not always the case and i did mention it on my next post but you know this as well as i do. In USA you can be poor by choice UNLESS and i really want to stress this, UNLESS you have some sort of handicap. Even then, there are programs in place to help people with whatever handicap they have.

"We ain't here for food. We need money!"
Realistically, what they need is housing; but housing is barely affordable for working people in many areas- but the irony of Gideon brining it up, is that our aggressive foreign policy is largely why we have so many domestic problems. Just printing and giving away billions of dollars, and then inviting in tens of millions of foreigners..... it's just about as retarded as you can get. Then we have weapons manufacturers ignoring safety precautions trying to pump out weapons for this losing battle, blowing up their facilities and killing American workers in the process... Pretty sure it wasn't some "moral compass" that led us to those things.

100% correct.
The problem in USA is not money, is the incorrect distribution of money due to ideological lines.
This country is overflowing with money and Trump has done the right thing to cut of "the gravy train" as he put it to all these foreigners receiving billions or millions in military aid or other forms every year ... yet here at home a vet has a hard time getting healthcare because of insurance companies bs.
So yes, the distribution of money is the issue and Trump has cut this off for everyone. About time!
This is why it's called "America First" not "Australia or Europe first"

I hear america used to be governed by people who truly feared God, and inhabited by people who respected their environment.
Now every politician boasts a worthless idea, and I can't drive down almost any road without seeing a bunch of trash chucked out of beds and windows. I can spend all day picking up trash besides the roads of my scarecly inhabited rural neighborhood, and only a few days later see more litter everywhere.

Please note "the land of Shinar" means "the land of two rivers". Babel was built in the land of Shinar, it had two major rivers going from one border to the next, the Tigris and the Euphrates. However, the US is also the Land of Shinar, we also have two rivers that go from one border to the other, fully bisecting the nation: the Mississippi and the Missouri.

Mesopotamia, means land between two rivers. Shinar means cast out of a breach, young, wit. Here is what Abarim publications gives for the meanings and etymology.

Meaning
Cast Out A Breach
That What Is Young (or Shakes, Growls)Tooth Town,
City Of Wit

Etymology
From the root שער (s'r), which expresses intense negative emotion and the experience of violence.
From the root נער (na'ar), to growl, shake or be young.
From (1) the verb שנן (shanan), to be sharp, and (2) the noun עיר ('ir), city.

https://www.abarim-publications.com/Meaning/Shinar.html

Genesis 11

1And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech. 2And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there. 3And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them throughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter. 4And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.

I find that the name Shinar would make sense as it conveys what they had just come out of a violent flood. A new or young town and also a place of wit as they thought they were smarter than God and going to build a tower.

The US is more than a land between two rivers. Being from Colorado we have 4 rivers that start as melting snow from our mountains. The Colorado which flows to the Pacific. The Rio Grande which flows to the Gulf of America. The Arkansas which flows to the Mississippi. As well as the South Plate.

The US never could have become the nation we are without our water system, great lakes, rivers, bays, inlets and the such. The Mississippi water basin and the fact that a good number of rivers flow to it and that they are navigable made us a nation of commerce. Canals that we built and the harbors. We hit the jackpot for a perfectly placed area with a infrastructure of early highways which navigable waterways were and are.

While I agree that at present the US would fit as a Babylon the great it is not based on because of two rivers as that is not what Shinar means.

I find we would be the best candidate as we are a nation of merchants. God has always been consistent in that it was always the super power of the day he brought down be it Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Persia, Greece, or Rome. Another consistent of that is that those nations had the highest concentrated number of Jews living in their land or under their rule. As that is just what God did is in Genesis 11 he introduced the worlds system with Satan as the god of. Then in Genesis 12 he introduced his plan to bring it to it's periodic end as well as it's final end. He called Abraham and founded the nation that would become Israel.

Reason God has done so is spiritual warfare for one. Those nations he defeated them and their gods. The US has the old gods yet as we have Moloch or Baal Hamon worship going on daily as we sacrifice the unborn. As well as we have the new gods we peddle to the whole world through our economic system and intellectual property or our culture.

As well as I believe it was Adams or perhaps Franklin who said that the American revolution was as much about economics as it was freedom. Reason being is we hear of the Stamp Act and Tea Act. However, what is not commonly taught was the passage of the Currency Act of 1764 which declared economic war on the colonies and made us totally reliant upon England for liquidity.

We also read that the final kingdom and it's ruler will require a mark that without no one can buy or sell. The US is at current such as we are the worlds reserve currency and no one can buy or sell unless they use the dollar. While it is not complete and total as the mark will be we are already in operation of such a system.

So will the US be the final kingdom I have no clue but would say that we are at least a type or shadow of what is to come as we are already fulfilling what is said to a lesser extent with the final kingdom to complete it fully.

That which is young would refer to the US as the New land. Iraq is considered ancient land.

The Blue letter Bible says this:

  1. Shinar = "country of two rivers"
    1. the ancient name for the territory later known as Babylonia or Chaldea
