Whatever happened to the America I used to know? You know, the defender of democracy, liberty, human rights and other trivialities. Once they mattered. Not any more.

My rant is because President Trump intends recognise Ukrainian territory as Russian. This is unconscionable. It rewards military aggression of the worst kind. I do not begin to understand why Mr Trump would sell out a friendly nation to a war criminal. If Mr Trump just left everyone alone, that I could understand. It's stupid decision, but at least does no harm. Ukraine is not chess piece, it is an independent nation with real people who are being murdered daily by Putin's missiles. Targets are schools, apartments and civilians.

MAGA? I doubt that America can ever recover it's moral compass. "Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people." Proverbs 13:4 Mr Trump has done a lot of good things. His dealings with Russia show that he is morally bankrupt and clueless when it comes to dealing with Putin.

I quit reading newspapers, watching TV news 25 years ago. Everything today is managed, all that is available is for the purpose of establishing the "narrative" that Satan wants.

I have studied Biblical Prophecy since 1968, every thing foretold in the Old and in the New Testament is now happening.

Understand, the "Last Days" are the 2 - 1000 years days since the sacrifice Christ made for mankind. Christ died on the 14th day of God's first month of His year, in our 31 AD. Christ began confirming the New Covenant for 3 1/2 years on the Feast of Tabernacles in 27 AD.

2027 is 2000 years later, 2031 is also 2000 years later. We have arrived at the return to earth of the KING of Kings.

Christ in Matthew 24: 36 -39 is showing what is coming, on a certain day and at one hour of that day, sudden destruction will come on the United States and we will be utterly destroyed. This begins the Great Tribulation.

I follow the markets and finance, the economies of all nations are about to come apart.
and you are correct, America will never recover, as foretold, we have been over run with gentiles and their pagan religions.

There no one on earth that can FIX this world, only the return of the Government of God can bring peace and plenty. And IT WILL

Matthew 25 refers to Israel, not the United States. However, I've thought for many years that America would throw away its superpower status. America won't be rescuing Israel from her enemies. I don't think I could stand 1,000 years of American boasting as to how they defeated Gog and the Magog coalition.

Zechariah 5 Describes America's Fall in Exact Detail—And We're in the Final Stage

Zechariah 5 Describes America's Fall in Exact Detail—And We're in the Final Stage
Please note "the land of Shinar" means "the land of two rivers". Babel was built in the land of Shinar, it had two major rivers going from one border to the next, the Tigris and the Euphrates. However, the US is also the Land of Shinar, we also have two rivers that go from one border to the other, fully bisecting the nation: the Mississippi and the Missouri.

I don't know how people get America out of Zechariah 5. Yet some reject clear references to modern Israel. Go figure.

"Shinar" is Babylonia. Last I looked, that was modern day Southern Iraq. That's a long way from New York.
Shinar means "the land of two rivers". The US is also the land of two rivers: Mississippi and Missouri are two great rivers that go from our Northern border and fully cross the land to the southern border.

At the time of Zechariah Babylon had already fallen and what Zechariah saw was a future revelation, not of the past but of what is going to happen in the future.

The basket refers to an Ephah which is a basket that holds a particular amount of grain and that is basket goes throughout the world. Only the US has been the one sending grain out throughout the whole world.

The basket is carried by two storks which are unclean birds, the woman hidden in the basket is evil personified, and the lead covering hiding the woman is a type of how toxic sin is and how heavy the burden of sin is. This is a picture of marketing, where they sell their products using pretty women, and so is a picture of the global multinational corporations, the fortune 500.

Instead of jumping to your preconceived conclusion, why not listen to the entire video first.

The idea that this is referring to Iraq is contrary to the two rivers drying up to make way for the armies from the east. The armies simply march through Iraq like it is a wasteland, not like it is an economic superpower at the end of the age.

The Great Babylon is foreshadowed in Babel, but if we look at every verse on the Great Babylon it can't possibly be referring to Iraq. When Iraq was destroyed the merchants of the earth did not weep, Iraq was not a major consumer nation like the US. Also, there is no great city in Iraq that rules over the kings of the Earth. That is a reference to the US dollar called "King dollar" and the pictures of Washington DC and NYC on the various bills.

2 Peter 1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

You can't interpret who the Great Babylon is by a single verse, you have to put all of the pieces on the table. If you do you will eliminate Iraq, Jerusalem, Vatican, and London. Each of those places can be matched to some of the verses but not all. Only the US fits the description for all the verses.

You have your take on it. Fair enough. I don't agree.

Americans are sick of having to deal with everyone else's problems. Fix your own country.

America chose to become the world's policeman. No one forced it on you. There was also an ulterior and selfish motive. America was happy to see Europe's struggles to recover from two world wars.

Many countries, including Australia, have supported America over the decades since the start of the war in the Pacific. Americans seem to imagine that they are doing it all alone. Sure, pull your heads in. But don't throw Ukraine to the Russian wolves.

Australia is rightly increasing its military strength. We are a massive country with a small population. It's not that easy. Personally, I hope we develop nuclear weapons immediately. The we won't have to trouble America any more.

America has done pretty well out of its foreign adventures. Not as well as it could, but that's just bad judgement. Arms sales have done wonders for America's economy. That's changing as the West sees that America has become an unreliable ally.

It does not matter. I saw this coming years ago. God saw it before the foundation of the world!

....He said, as he complained about America not doing a good enough job policing the world.

Yeah, it was nice for them to take a break from killing each other and dragging the US into their problems.
But don't throw Ukraine to the Russian wolves.
They threw themselves to the wolves by listening to John McCain and Lindsey Graham.
That's changing as the West sees that America has become an unreliable ally.
Yeah right! I wish.
It does not matter. I saw this coming years ago.
Oh, no- It matters ALOT to you because you constantly make threads about it.

I'll tell you what happened.
America isn't going to give you 'money for nothing and checks for free'. That's what happened!
Hope you can cope with this new reality.

I was working on an elaborate screed, then I read this. Yea it's basically just this, praise Jesus. I can understand though they feel desperate and they are also a very proud people so they don't wanna give up any land, but man, you gotta kinda face reality too about the meatgrinder, and that's not just the Ukrainians, the Russians also have the similar problem of vastly overestimating the potential territorial gain but underestimating the vast human and material loss.

I miss the America where we cared about each other. The America that was inclusive and didn't care about what country you came from as long as you came through the proper channels. The America that welcomed diversity and wasn't afraid to make a new friend no matter what your skin color was.

I miss the America who had empathy for those less fortunate and needed a helping hand and were grateful to get that help. The America where families came together at holidays and loved each other and weren't fighting over a political parties ideals. Where loving each other meant something. That is the America I miss.

Yep, the America that was a blessing to all the other nations.
