Part of a soul is its desires. And if they have the same desires of another, that means they're one only in spirit but not in body. That everybody has a different weakness that's being caused by something to make us unequally yoke. Like a married man may have a different desire from his wife that's keeping them separated spiritual, that he can be easily tempted to stray away from his wife.
But Jesus is spiritually in tune with God that both has the exact same qualities as if they're one person.

He is the first human to be glorified after rising physically from the dead. The first-begotten (from the dead) is what Jesus was intended to become, and it is quite plausible that the writer of Hebrews is ascribing His title at the time of writing to the same person at His birth. Rahab is called Rahab the harlot even after she had given up harlotry. Simon the zealot was referred to as Simon the zealot after he had left political activism. Simon the leper was referred to as Simon the leper, even after he was healed by Jesus.

First, they are both one and the same. Second, if the father was above the son, that changed at the resurrection. Jesus said all power in heaven and earth was given to him. Just as Jesus said, whoever wished to be the greatest in heaven will have to be the greatest servant on earth.

If you still struggle with this, I ask, what image of God is greater; A God that cannot be tempted OR a God who set aside his power, came to Earth as a corruptible person, was tempted in every possible way, felt every pain any person has felt, and remained uncorrupted before dying in our place. Then after his resurrection, instead of being prideful, it says he has compassion on us knowing first hand the struggles we face.

23And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

24“Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock:

25and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.

26“But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: 27and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.”

28And so it was, when Jesus had ended these sayings, that the people were astonished at His teaching,

29for He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.

Noooooooooo, that is not what it is saying.

He came down from heaven. He ascended up to heaven. He is ["currently"] in heaven. (At the time the verse was written.)

Not saying it necessarily changes anything - just saying that is not what the verse is saying or indicates.
