Men can now have the indwelling Holy Spirit that causes them to see and discern sound doctrine to give them life.
That has gotten better since Pentecost for some who walk in grace.
Before then? Men could only walk according to the Law.

It has gotten better for those who find it.
So, finally an admission that things are better. Baby steps is good.

Thousands have found the same teacher.
And, not a penny was asked for, for the recordings and books he freely sends when asked for.
I'm sure he is a fine teacher, but there are many good teachers. None have it all correct. For example, you follow an eschatology that didn't even exist 200 years ago.

Try to stay on topic. What aspect of human living is not better since the cross?
I would suggest you read scripture for yourself and run far away from whatever false teachers that have indoctrinated you. Thats all from me. Good luck.

Why would I take advice from someone who can't even answer a simple question? Care to actually answer my question?

When man was created in the image of God no body existed yet.

For man?
What was created in the image of God was the human soul.

Angels are not souls.

They are spirits.
They too, were created in the image of God.
That is why they are also called "sons of God."

grace and peace .........
The WORD Knew He would be dealing with creation in flesh so the Image of God verse 26 is clearly understood.

Sometimes the simplest answers are the best and you had it exactly without need of addition. Maybe further education on how each work but you have it correct.... Trinitarians believe in Father , Son, and Holy Spirit is One God but 3 persons. Nothing more nothing less

Where is this doctrine about angels being made in the image of God to be found?

They were called "sons of God" in the OT.

Man was not to be called "sons of God" until after the church age began.

God is Spirit. The image of God in man is the human spirit. The soul is created, perhaps a reaction between the spirit and the flesh. Before Adam rebelled, his life was in his soul. He was able to reason, choose, observe, eat and express emotion.

God's intent was for Adam to eat from the tree of Life. This represents spiritual life. Adam would have become eternal then as Jesus is now. As is was, (and is now), man sought to be like God from a forbidden source. Adam did not die physically or in the soul. He died spiritually. This means separation from God and hostility to God' righteous requirements.

Your answer makes it sound like it is found in your imagination.

Your imagination is not a source of sound doctrine.

Their creation is not on record. Man's was.

Just as the Son is God?
And, the Holy Spirit is God?

Both angels and men are called "sons of God."
For in Scripture they are called sons of God.
We do not see horses called sons of God.

Some things we need to figure out for ourselves once we get enough doctrine to think with.
Insight is not spelled out in black and white, as you have requested.
Insight requires getting knowledge before it can be understood.

And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight,
so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ."
Philippians 1:9-10

That means?
Not everyone will be able to grasp what I am saying is true.
I am fine with that.
For that is the way it is when believers have been given freedom.

grace and peace ............

I hope this thread becomes a discussion about the Trinity. These are just some of my observations followed by questions.

1. The Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit are God.
Question: Is this the core belief of the Trinity? Something else? Assuming it is not appropriate to call them "Gods" is there one title that actually fits the Father, the Son, and the Spirit?

2. Jesus did not consider equality with God something to be grasped (Philippians 2:6).
Question: How best can we describe the Trinity without using the word "equal"?

That's all for now. Thank you.

How about the word Distinct? Each in the Word of GOD are seen, have action and a personality. They each have emotion, and Coe- attributes God became man not man became GOD. The eternal Christ has always been as John chapter 1 states. Who can know the mind of GOD but GOD? therefore the Holy Spirit is GOD John chapter. The Trinity is a Theological concept of the divine Nature of GOD. The word of GOD show us they are all GOD yet one. This cannot be comprehended yet we can Apprehend by the word of GOD, Creation, and a Relationship with the Father and The Son and Holy Spirit who are all GOD. The word of God provides the "Personification" of each as GOD yet are one.

The last 100 years? Guess you dont know about 2 world wars, countless other wars and mass murders all through this last 100 years. Genocide in Nigeria right now. Better? Better for who?
Your grasp of history is limited to say the least. Technology has vastly improved life for most people, especially women. I remember my mother dealing with 4 very young children and no washing machine. How about the vacuum cleaner? Do know what they did before that came along? The telephone, radio, life saving medications - the list goes on.

What has not changed is human nature. War has always been part of humanity's culture. War is the prime cause of famine, premature death, injury and destruction generally.

You should look at the 19th century wars. There was no such thing as a war crime. Might was right. How about incurable diseases that killed millions? Smallpox, for example? Polio would be eradicated if not for those who reject vaccination programs. Blindness? Look up Fred Hollows. I won't go on.

Sure, for some people life has always been harder than for others. But I assure you that there never were any "good old days".

1763967386904.pngThe Father (Gal. 1:3), the Son (1 Tim. 3:16; Col. 2:9) and the Holy Spirit are God (Acts 5:3-4). God is one eternal Being who exists as three Persons. All three members of the Godhead are fully God, as God is one (Deut. 6:4; 1 Jn. 5:7; Mt. 28:19).

Evil has been growing not receeding. If you think all this technology is a boon you are wrong. More efficient ways to kill faster and more. Abortion is a good example. Run some tests, kid got the wrong color eyes? Kill it and cook a new one. If you think technology is wonderful wait a few more years and see what you say then. If your allowed to. Its not going to be Star Trek.

Definitely some downsides and looking to be more global than ever before.

Elohim is a plural Hebrew noun.
Not when applied to the MOST HIGH GOD. Then it is singular. The Burning Bush told Moses I AM the Elohim of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, your father's. Then it says Moses was afraid to look at Elohim.

But you might not know that. If Elohim means many then the Jews should have believed in the trinity. But they don't because Elohim means ONE TRUE GOD.
