But, I believe it makes the point we all need to see about the Jewishness of the Gospels.

The guy's explanation that Hebrew word puns wouldn't be in the Hebrew Matthew unless it was the original version of Matthew is untenable because they could easily have been introduced into a Hebrew translation from Greek by someone who thought like that. The Semitic word puns that are woven into the structure of parables that Jesus spoke would have been spoken in Aramaic, and those who heard would have orally repeated those things in the way Jesus spoke them until they were written down in Greek

I had forgotten the story behind this bible, but the guy reminded me. It is an obvious forgery created during the mddle ages in Spain to give Jews an advantage when having to defend their faith during the Inquisition

How come you know so much?

John 10:10

It seems odd that the alleged forgery would make perfect sense for believers.
And, what we have been given after passing through hands, will not.

Matthew 23:2-3

“The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat. So you must be careful to do
everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach.
You really think Jesus would tell the people to do as the hypocrites he hated would tell them to do?

I don't think you listened to enough of that video.

I am not trying to offend you.

As I said, you can't.

I have no time for people who attack me instead of debating HIS word.

Your comments,

What happened to those verses I gave you?
Threw them out in a drunken rage?

Drunk with your own self-importance.
Can not stand correction?

Mistakes will be made.
Even Peter made mistakes.
Even Paul!

The humble will accept the correction.
The stupid will not.

Is any of that necessary????

Best of luck.

Was Jesus trying to offend the Pharisees?
Or, was he not afraid to be truthful with them?

I'm not instersed in playing games.

BC, before Chist I would give you with your insults a run for your money.

AC After I have been reborn, believe, reptented (still repenting), baptized in JESUS name to get rid of my sins and JESUS filled me with HIS spirit like HE did HIS disciples, I don't get into insults.

JESUS is ALIVE and HE changed my life.

Best of luck.

I have had God move powerfully in my life in miraculous ways before...I was getting divorced in 2008 and could not communicate with my wife...she was angry and vindictive and the whole time 3 months I was interceding in prayer and others too, attending church and meditating in the Word; then she called to tell me that she was going to sign the papers, move on with her life and that this would be our last conversation when God rose up in me like a lion, like a bolt of lightning...and I yelled into the phone "Lord God shut her mouth and break her heart!"

I was taken aback because I had no thought of what I had just said. It just spirited out of me in an instant....while i was saying to myself what the heck just happened my wife starts to cry and said come see me baby :) we had been almost ten years together with no children the following year my first sone was born (I was 51) and 3 years later I had another son both named in honor of the Lord.

That said I don't believe there is always a manifestation that we can perceive of course the Spirit indwells but as far as people being healed as their shadow crosses them not very often...though it can and even may happen. I just am not aware of it.

You rarely give any scripture that backs up what you teach. God says that whatever you do in word ( teach) or deed ( practice) do it all by the authority of the Lord. Some of what you teach is Bible based; some is not. The Bible portrays hell as a place of eternal punishment. It does not teach that everyone will have a “second chance” to be saved. It does not teach “universal salvation.”
Rev. 20:10-“ They will be tormented day and night FOREVER AND EVER.”

GOD says to “test” or “try” the spirits because there are many FALSE SPIRITS that are in the world. You attribute everything to the Holy Spirit of God, but what you described does not sound like God’s Spirit to me. And just because you think so, does not make it true.

Satan has “spirits” also and God has given him some power. His job is to DECEIVE the world. . 2 Thessalonians 2:9 - “…according to the working of Satan with all power, signs, and lying wonders and with …deception…” because they do not love the TRUTH. God will send them a STRONG DELUSION that they might believe a LIE!. Rev. 13:13 - Satan can perform great signs; he can even make fire cone down from heaven and he deceives people with these “signs.” I do not believe the Holy Spirit acts in such a way as you have described.

The Holy Spirit tells us we need to “learn” not to go beyond the things that are written. 1 Cor. 4:6. In other words, God says we must have authority from God for what we say and do. God has not left it up to us to decide on our own what is right—He is the ONLY one who has the authority to do that.

The Bible does not contradict itself! Your interpretation of a passage must HARMONIZE with all of the rest of the Bible, or you have misinterpreted the passage.

The Bible has many, many, warnings about false teachers, who teach the commandments of men, not God, and false, deceptive “spirits”—HE says MANY are in the world. So how do you know that was the Holy Spirit from God? Just because you “feel” or “think” that it was is not proof. And you can’t expect us to believe it just because you say so.

Saul of Tarsus in Acts 9 was very sincere in persecuting God’s people. But he was SINCERELY WRONG! Sincerity is not proof of truth. The only way to prove what is right is by what God has said, and what the Holy Spirit has written in the Bible. Anything more or less is “building your house on sinking sand.” Jesus said, every plant that my Heavenly Father has not planted shall be rooted up.”

Matthew 26:27-28 was a record of what was said to Jews who were still living under the Law.

Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying,
“Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out
for many for the forgiveness of sins." Matthew 26:27-28

And...

Peter in Acts 2:38?
At that point Peter had no New Testament doctrine yet to think with.
For he still thought and acted, as he had as a Jew, before the cross took place.

We see that later on Peter finally recalling the words of the risen Jesu that Jesus spoke in Acts 1:5.
That was when Peter finally realized that water baptism was to be replaced by Spirit baptism.

Soon after Jesus was risen... (Not yet ascended to heaven) Jesus spoke with the disciples.

On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command:
“Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you
have heard me speak about. For John baptized with water, but in a few days
you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.” Acts 1:4-5

Did Peter remember those words in when he spoke in Acts 2:38? ...... NO!

Did not remember until all the way over in Acts 11:16!

That is when Peter finally recalled those words of Jesus!
Then causing Peter to realize that the old way - water baptism - was to now being replaced by Spirit baptism!

“As I began to speak, the Holy Spirit came on them as he had come on us at the beginning.
Then I remembered what the Lord had said: ‘John baptized with water, but you will be
baptized with the Holy Spirit.’ Acts 11:15-16

Missing these details is why so many Christians are failing to understand, what they do have become the traditions of man, not God's way.

Just read it and think.

Acts 10:47-48 is where the Gentiles’ Acts 2:38 began.

Chapter 10 you cited happened before Peter spoke in Chapter 11.

This was from Chapter 11.

He did not remember until later in Acts 11:16!

Then I remembered what the Lord had said: ‘John baptized with water,

When Peter finally had it all sink in?
Do you think he would continue with his old ways of having everyone water baptized?

Don't you remember?
Water baptizing had become a major part of the everyday life for Peter before Pentecost took place.

John 4:1-2
Now Jesus learned that the Pharisees had heard that he was gaining and baptizing more disciples
than John— although in fact it was not Jesus who baptized, but his disciples.

Read that, please?
Peter had just come out of a way of life that involved... 'Baptizing - baptizing - and more baptizing!"

So right after the church age began?
Peter just simply continued on his way of life without thinking!
He had not yet realized how things must change.

What is hard to understand?
Is how the church today has missed this.

Most Christians it seems want to be told what they want to hear...
They do not understand about walking with the Lord according to sound doctrine.
They do not seek sound doctrinal teaching.
They seek instead for teaching that will suit their natural emotional pattern that they will feel comfortable with.

Here is why we find Christianity in a spiritual whirlpool
For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine.
Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great
number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear." 2 Timothy 4:3

Grace and Truth.

The same way the Jews received the remission of sins is the same way the Gentiles would have, as there’s one gospel (Gal. 1:6-9).

Blue?

Explain what you mean by that, please...
If anyone preached a different way to receive the remission of sins, they’d be accursed, as the gospel of Christ is good news of how to be saved by Christ and in Christ. Peter wouldn’t have taught differently in Acts 11 than in Acts 2 about how to have the remission of sins. He wouldn’t have taught differently than Paul, and Paul wouldn’t have taught differently than Peter or they’d both be accursed (Gal. 1:6-9). Whatever one taught in harmony with Christ concerning salvation and doctrine, the other did.

Do you think Peter was taught the mystery doctrines of the Church instantly, and by osmosis?

Peter in the early days was an example of how baby Christians must go through a learning curve, learning to shed old ways and taking on the new way.

Peter was coming out of Judaism.
He at the beginning had much to learn yet.
