I called a couple people here a liar.

One guy changed HIS word to suit his need, do you have any idea how bold that is?

As far as I know he sill believes that being baptized in the spirit (which he wasn't) replaces being baptized for remission of sins.

What am I supposed to do when they lie?

Since liars go to hell one would think they would be happy so they could change their ways!

I'm sorry you don't like the truth, but it is what it is.

So have you been baptized in JESUS name yet?

Do you remember a lot of people including those who THOUGHT they knew HIS word, DIDN'T LIKE JESUS EITHER.

They had him killed.

John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

How to be reborn.

Acts 2:38-39
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

What happens when JESUS fills you with the spirit.
Acts 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

If you ever see me lie will you tell me please.

I'm sorry I have no tact, some people like it others don't.
I know the truth you don't.

So now based on my belief I killed Jesus?

Not one person on here who disagrees wirh ouch that a can see have referneced that ouch is a lier that a I can see.

He asked me above how was I baptised.
I told him that goodness knows how long ago

In the name of Jesus.
Amen he said
Yet he goes at me again.
He doesn't listen.

I listen and don't care what people think, I'm not here to make friends.

I'm here to share HIS word in context.

One thing you would remember is if JESUS filled you with HIS SPIRIT.

Acts 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

They were told to wait, don't go out with out it.

Wonder what they were thinking when it happen to them?

I know the truth you don't.

LOL, no not at all. that was a 3000 years ago?

Have you been baptized in JESUS name to remove your sins?

Has JESUS filled you with HIS SPIRIT?

Ouch is a Grouch....

Nothing to contribute other nasty accusatory, thought twisting lies, that turns it around to say you are the liar.
He takes up wasting your time if you try clarifying what you said which he distorted to make it look like something you did not say.

I'm going to have to trust you, I can't remember.

I do know for a fact there is no error in being baptized in JESUS name.

That is the ONLY way for our sins to be remitted.

If there was another way it would be in HIS word.

I'm open if I said anything wrong.

Sorry if you don't like how I say things, I'm not here to tickle ears.

Be great if someone would show me.

Or didn't I??

We will be held responsible for our words, if I said something wrong it's others who are suppose to tell me.

Did you or did you not say, being filled with HIS spirit replaced water baptism?

Can the below saved you?

1. Baptism (Yes / No)
2. Speaking in tongue (Yes / No)
3. Your works (Yes / No)

1) Yes. How? Peter explains it in 1 Peter 3:21. By/through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, as if Jesus did not resurrect after death, we’d not have a way to get our sins forgiven, as our faith would be futile (1 Cor. 15:17. It’s not act of baptism in and of itself that saves (as in baptism alone) and it’s not the water that saves, as it’s not a bath as if you are washing the filth off the flesh. It’s an appeal in faith to have your sins washed away by the blood of Christ (Acts 2:38, 22:16; cf. Col. 2:13: Gal. 3:26-27). Baptism into Christ is through faith in the operation/work of God who raised Jesus from the dead (Col. 2:12). When we are baptized into Christ, we are having faith that God had the power to raise Jesus (Rom. 1:4; Col. 2:12), and are appealing to be saved by the benefits of Jesus’ His sacrifice, that by His blood, He forgives our sins (Acts 2:38; Mt. 26:28). His sinless life, death on the cross and resurrection gives people the hope and promise of being made free from death by not dying in their sins. Baptism into Christ is also an appeal to be saved by Jesus’ resurrection and His sacrifice.

2. No. Speaking in tongues were a sign for unbelievers (1 Cor. 14:22). If the act of speaking in tongues saved, then the Gentiles would have been saved, but Peter commanded baptism (Acts 10:47-48) for the remission of sins (Acts 2:38). Any view that has someone believing they have the remission of sins before repentance and baptism is an incorrect understanding.

3. No (Eph. 2:9; Titus 3:5; 2 Tim. 1:9).

1. Baptism

How do we do that and witness to non believers? Do you approach them and say get baptized in the name of Jesus?

Worry is sin. Philippians 4:6

Have YOU received the Holy Ghost since ye believed?

How were YOU baptized?

Acts 19
King James Version
19 And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples,

2 He said unto them,
Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.

3 And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism.

4 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.

5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.

JESUS loves us all the same.

The Error is Baptism in Jesus name only for salvation

Morning, what to make sure were on the same page.

In the past you were pressing me to answer your question, you were asking me if you were saved.

AFTER questing you, YOU SAID you were not baptized in JESUS name or received the Holy Ghost.

I do not have the ability to remember it all, is that correct?

Since JESUS says John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

AFTER the information you gave me, and according to HIS word I told you "NO".

I didn't volunteer the information, you were pressing me!!!

So my question to you, did you want me to lie to you and say "YES"?

Would you like me if I was a liar?

Why are you made at me?

Just curious.

AFTER questing you, YOU SAID you were not baptized in JESUS name or received the Holy Ghost.
Can you going the quote where I said that as that is not something I would say as it’s not true.
If I had one fund you would not have said to me thing below

You said you follow HIS WORD, AMEN.

Was I quoting you??? I asked you IS THAT CORRECT?

WAS IT?

What does me following HIS word have to do with your statements?

I also asked you,

So my question to you, did you want me to lie to you and say "YES"?

Would you like me if I was a liar?

Why are you made at me?

Just curious.

You pressed me to answer your questions, I did.

Why can't you answer mine?

Nope I never said that otherwise you would not have quoted what to did back in June. Maybe you were thinking of someone else.

Why did I say you were not saved?
If memory serves me you said that to me because i would not answer your question about my baptism and I believed that baptism based on what Jesus said in Matthew was just as valid as in Acts.

I understand, what to talk about it?

I'm sure we did.

No reason to do it again?

Did I ask you why did HIS disciples only baptize in JESUS name?
