It is.
What used to sell elsewhere like downtown for a dollar a slice, is now at least four dollars a sliceHi there @Gideon300 thank you I agree I have yet to enjoy their pizzas as much as I did as a kid.
The documentary is pretty intense it really gets to the cut throatiness of our founding corporate cardboard slices
I definitely agree!!
Anchovies = vile abomination imo
Unlike a lot of people in this thread, I do not like pineapple on my pizza. But, if I had to make a mandatory choice between anchovies and pineapple...give me extra pineapple lol![]()
I buy sardines and smoked herring by the case haha no joke.
I buy sardines by the case and I love smoked herring! lol
The stupid herring just went from 2.50 a can to 3.50 a can. How did inflation hit my herring. I think the dollar store still sells the sardines in hot sauce for 1 dollar a can. Just dont eat a can of sardines and a raw onion before a date haha
The cheapest smoked herring near me is at the Family Dollar for 1.75 a tin.
Maybe your date can join you for sardines and raw onion. Then have cheapy cookies from your truck for dessert lol.
At the deli where I get my sammies and patato salad sometimes they always ask me do yoy need a fork. I just tell them no I got one on my floor somewhere. Hahaha I think they think im joking haha I just wipe the crusty mustard on my pant leg and go to town on the new batch hahaha
Have mercy...I'm getting a mental imagine of your floor board! lol
Is your date able to fit into your vehicle?![]()
Hopefully. It is a truck so there's always the back just incase

in my 'hood, with ingredients cut rice paper thin, which used to be considered expensive even for
Flying Wedge when we had them, for many have closed, and their ingredients were epic in proportion
and amounts. They were innovative in their topping choices... That documentary sounds interesting!

Yes, also known more widely as the Hawaiian and a fave of mine, though I don't see The Big Yum on the menu, so surely othersWow thanks for sharing this menu. The names of these pizzas are quite animated love
the sound of a classical tropical piggie. Many seem oh so scrumptious!
Yes, also known more widely as the Hawaiian and a fave of mine, though I don't see The Big Yum on the menu, so surely others
are missing as well; the big yum was also a fave of mine, I found the ingredients by searching for pumpkin seeds on FW pizza .
The "Big Yum" pizza is listed as having:
- Onion
- Tomato
- Green Onion
- Sunflower and Pumpkin Seeds
- Raisins
- Feta, Cheddar and FW cheese blend
Yes, raisins and pumpkin seeds on pizza! Who'd have thunk it???
It was a great choice when no meat was desired...
And come to think of it, surely raisins on pizza would be considered controversial? .![]()
Aww nice this one surely takes the cake for creativityThat is such a great idea to add some texture!
There was a local popular pizza parlor I frequented before I was saved, and I won’t mention the name to not promote it because of its terrible name. I repent naively supporting it then and break any agreement I ever had with the brand, but for context they did have recipes with pumpkin chunks and cashew nuts on their pizzas which paired well with the other classic ingredients.
So glad you mentioned that because it would be nice to see places that have ingredients like raisins, I love the golden ones, and many other quirky options.
May God continue to inspire more of the future pizzaneers to come!

No, what you have there is a yummy looking type of breakfast burrito.
Regular crust? Heck NO!No. On a regular crust. Instead of sauce, beaten eggs are spread on the crust, and the cheese goes on top of that.
And come to think of it, surely raisins on pizza would be considered controversial? .![]()
I think you two found the most controversial part of this threadthey did have recipes with pumpkin chunks and cashew nuts on their pizzas

Although, with it being pumpkin season this could be an interesting topping to explore on a pizza.
