Eating pineapple on pizza is an indication of an extremely high level of intelligence. Everybody knows that.

I can eat a slice of pizza with pineapple and Canadian bacon for toppings, but only if pepperoni isn't available.

* And (the reason I'm posting this in the Family sections.) if/when your family members disagree on toppings, how many different pizzas do you have to order so everyone is happy?

I served my family pepperoni pizza. I like to have the pepperoni completely covering the pizza in a couple of layers. My wife likes toppings like onion, bell pepper, Italian sausage. Now that the kids are all grown up if I bring home two pizzas I'll order triple pepperoni for me and get the wife what she wants. If I only get one pizza, it's pepperoni. Most places don't put enough pepperoni on the pizzas. I don't ever return to those...

Why Is Pineapple on Pizza SO Controversial?!...

Because the very best pizza - whether from Italy or NYC - does not need pineapple or anything other than tomatoes, high quality mozzarella, fresh basil, and extra virgin olive oil. Adding anything else is simply a cover up and distraction for the fact that the alleged "pizza" is substandard to begin with.

Other things that do not belong on pizza -
- Sausage
- Pepperoni
- Onions
- Ham
- Jalapenos or peppers of any sort
- Fried chicken & barbecue sauce
- Velveeta

Regarding stuffed crust pizza: This is an absolute abomination and should be avoided at all times. If you have partaken of such a monstrosity, please repent and turn back to simple hand tossed dough.

Velveeta? On PIZZA?

I don't think even my redneck-est uncle would do that.
