@studier, how in the world you are still dealing with him is beyond my imagination. Props to you. I washed my hands of him and put him on ignore, but you do you, my friend.
What's going on between you all and Blue155 seem to be involved?
Answering for myself, at this time, and on and off with @LightBearer316, nothing of benefit to anybody. Since you asked, my apology to you for my part in the un-Scriptural nonsense, but not in doing the work to show how the Word is being misrepresented interpretatively and in some other ways.
For my part, I’m not misrepresenting Scripture but quoting it directly and letting context speak.
We may disagree on interpretation, but that’s not “nonsense” — it’s exactly what healthy study and comparison are for. As always, the goal is truth, not winning an exchange. Yet your continued use of Ai has made that impossible.
Numbers 32:23 (KJV) — “your sins will find you out.” Proof
You’ve written a lot here, but none of it actually deals with the text.According to more than one scholar your references led us to, you are misrepresenting Scripture and are most definitely doing more than quoting it and letting context speak.
The nonsense this round IMO began here, continued here, then here, etc. Is this "healthy study"?
The AI ruse is an excuse when you get obviously frustrated and start talking to a supposed crowd, which is not only rude, but fallacious argumentation.
Telling others to ignore me and stalking me on the News forum trying to discredit me there is beyond bad behavior.
I suppose you think you're going to just get me to submit to your error or bow out from dealing with you and it. And it seems you think that the above bad behavior and manufacturing some supposed IT friend and "Proof" to infer I'm in sin is not for "winning an exchange".
These are poor debate tactics and poor behavior put forth when you don't get your way.
Along the way in this thread, the scholarly work of BDAG, Thayer, Turner, Wallace, Cranfield, and Garlington plus a few posters on this thread have all refuted you. You've also refuted your own credibility by misrepresenting most of those scholars.
If you want to stick to Scripture, then do so. I'll stick with you for as much as I choose to.
Better yet, put me on ignore and you can more easily pretend you're not being refuted.
You’ve written a lot here, but none of it actually deals with the text.
My references were clear and accurately cited — if you think BDAG, Thayer, or Wallace disagree, quote them directly instead of asserting it.
I haven’t “stalked” or “manufactured” anything; I’ve simply shown the inconsistency between your claims and Scripture.
I’ll stay focused on the Word — because that’s where truth, not ego, is proven.
Numbers 32:23 (KJV) — your sins will find you out Studier all you do is use Ai.

John baptized with water.
Jesus would baptize with the Spirit and fire.
No real “issue,” just a sharp disagreement about how salvation and grace are presented in Scripture. So bottom line, what's the issue between both of you?

I believe the Bible teaches salvation by grace through faith alone — not by baptism or any outward work — and I’ve been backing that with context and citations.
Unfortunately, what started as theological debate drifted into personal accusations and off-topic noise. I’m fine to keep it strictly biblical from here on out.

This isn't true. Many trials were baptisms by fire. Whenever the Spirit fell accompanied by signs and wonders and rejoicing, that is the baptism with the Spirit.Every baptism from Acts on is immersion; there are our examples.
