2 Chronicles 36:15–16
“And the LORD God of their fathers sent to them by his messengers, rising up early and sending them; because he had compassion on his people, and on his dwelling place: But they mocked the messengers of God, and despised his words, and misused his prophets, until the wrath of the LORD arose against his people, till there was no remedy.”

If Calvinism is true and every human being is born without the ability to be able to believe, repent, or obey unless they are the eternally decreed of God as the elect, then how can God be compassionate toward people He knows cannot respond to His compassion? How can He be “compassionate” in sending prophets again and again when He has eternally decreed that those people will never (and can never) listen?

Do you have a better argument?

What's the question?
did you forget this quick? I guess it must have been a strong one after all. So strong that it caused you to say it wasn’t a strong argument, only to then cause you to have to ask what it was.

Because hes God no other reason.

However the lord will have mercy on whom he will have mercy

People respond to his compassion because he's patient and slow to anger.

But on the flip side if you don't have compassion in your heart from God, the likelihood is you won't have conviction untill you get rid of your condemnation, because there is no condemnation for those in Christ only conviction.

His will assigned that to My free will 🤩

@Jordon, sorry, but I have you on ignore so I cannot see your posts. However, your answer is not an answer.
that's because you want me to say your post proves Calvinism wrong m

Which means you want your will to be above others people's will 🤩

If you have free will m you have to let others have there's

Does it matter? How about I do us both a favor and put you on ignore. Goodbye.

You like to by all means, I don't hate anyone, iron sharpen iron?

Proverbs 27:17 Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.

actually flesh does like sin, and hate is sin. And sin is sin
Your only fooling yourself

Please tell me how that is putting someone down, when it is simply stating a fact. He does not realize how his comment debunked his own doctrine and theology, which is why I said what I said.

Some people can't separate the message from the messenger. They think because you poo poo the message you must be demeaning the messenger.

The heavens declare the glory of God. And man knows of God through both creation and conscience. None of this is sufficient for salvation.

God's typical means of salvation is to send a messenger with the gospel and faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. This doesn't mean God is limited to this means, and can go directly to an individual and save them. And I've heard a number of testimonials to this personally. But when God saves an individual, truly saves them, their lives change. There is evidence. Personal evidence, and anthropological evidence. There are churches, and crosses, and jewelry, and religious artifacts consistent with Christianity. We don't find this in many, many people groups for long periods of time. When God does a work in people's lives, He makes an impression and leaves evidence of His work.

The first paragraph here are one of the things that are frustrating for me about other Christians . You have entire continents through entire eras doomed to hell. Romans 2-13 through 2-16 is what covers this

When yhe Gentiles which have not the law do by nature the things contained in the law these having not the law become a law unto themselves.

To me that means there is some provision our just lord and savior and his father have for those who never directly heard of the law or of Jesus.

That verse also applies to this man's nature stuff that has been ranted about for a fee thousand post. That verse actually uses the word nature. Do by nature the things contained in the law. I thought total depravity ment they couldn't do things by nature that were of God.
