See I told you I didn't call you satan. But you, as usual, misrepresent what is said in order to disparage and cause division.
The one being baptized submits to being baptized and walks into the water on their own, free will. Believers are not passive in getting water baptized. It takes cooperation from the one getting baptized and the one doing the baptizing. It's doing something, and it's still a work.
It’s not “pedantic” or “legalistic” to stand for truth — it’s obedience to God’s Word.I can't believe you're being so pedantic and legalistic. Honestly, it's really disgusting to see this coming from a Christian.

That’s a textbook attack from someone defending baptismal regeneration!@LightBearer316 is perverting the gospel of Christ—the good news of Christ…which is how to receive the remission of sins by the authority of Christ, by telling others you don’t have to repent and be baptized for the remission of sins.
@LightBearer316 is also promoting a false teaching of the Greek word “eis” in Acts 2:38, attributing it to be meaning “because of”.
@LightBearer316 is also misrepresenting the body/church of Christ, saying they teach or believe in baptismal regeneration.
@LightBearer316 is also misconstruing a host of passages to try and get around the necessity of water baptism for the remission of sins.
You are once again misrepresenting me. I do not believe in baptismal regeneration. I can very easily refute your claims with scripture, as you are having Peter contradicting Peter. Before this conversation continues, you must stop saying that I believe in something that I do not. If not, then we have nothing to discuss. That’s a textbook attack from someone defending baptismal regeneration!
That’s a complete misrepresentation of what I’ve said. Anyone can go back through all my posts and see the truth for themselves.@LightBearer316 is perverting the gospel of Christ—the good news of Christ…which is how to receive the remission of sins by the authority of Christ, by telling others you don’t have to repent and be baptized for the remission of sins.

You’ve made several claims, but none of them stand when Scripture interprets Scripture.
So did Peter contradict himself in between Acts 2 and Acts 10?When you insist that water baptism is required for the remission of sins, that is what Scripture calls adding a work to grace
Me thinks he’s either responding with AI, or copy and pasting. He’s responding way too quick not to be lol. I’ve been guilty of that many times as well, but at least I’m man enough to admit it lol. This is such a bogus idea (not your idea, I know). Scripture is not able to interpret anything. It is the holy spirit which witnesses with all of scripture to provide the correct interpretation.

No AI needed here to refute your unsound false doctrine — just the plain Word of God rightly divided.Me thinks he’s either responding with AI, or copy and pasting. He’s responding way too quick not to be lol. I’ve been guilty of that many times as well, but at least I’m man enough to admit it lol.

Once again, you’re accusing me of something I am not. I am not a oneness Pentecostal, I do not believe in baptismal regeneration, nor do I believe in a works based gospel. That tells me you don’t want to have a cordial conversation. All you want to do is accuse me of things that I don’t believe in and say things about me that I am not.No AI needed here to refute your unsound false doctrine — just the plain Word of God rightly divided.
Looks like we’ve stirred the nest of the Oneness / Pentecostal crowd, and the twisting has begun.
Truth doesn’t need algorithms; it stands on Scripture alone.
Grace and peace — always in His Word.

If quoting Scripture sounds like boilerplate to you, that says everything.I've challenged him on that, but he's not forthcoming about anything really. Totally boilerplate from whatever source

And now you are accusing me of accusing. Amazing. That’s the tone you set when you chose to enter the thread at post #309.
You can’t accuse others of hostility while opening with a post that labels someone a false teacher and misrepresents what they’ve said.
You weren’t looking for cordial discussion — you came to push an agenda, as #309 clearly shows.
If you want genuine dialogue, start with accuracy and respect for Scripture, not accusation.
