no im not suffering any addiction, I probably haven't had any major addiction in my life.

The hardest addiction I ever had in life was going on a controlled food diet for 6 months. But only the first month was hard

Alcohol wise I would say a bit of addiction now and again but I've never been big drinker and those times when I was drinking more than once a week it wasn't enough to ever stop straight away without any issues apart from one time when i drank whiskey every night for 2 weeks, and I started getting really mad when I wasn't getting one during the day at work so I stopped straight away but that was in my teens.

Got it!

Do you realize you’re judging people based on a 200 yr old prohibition? This is something that was added to His word—- which is a sin. You might want to count those fingers pointing back at you….

The cartoon is aptly applied, because people who believe that drinking is a sin is missing the point of the Scripture (it’s about drunkenness not drinking).
You’re following this 200 yr old Tradition and burying your own head in the sand by not being like the Noble Bereans to find out if it’s true—- which it isn’t!

how about some aphrodisiacs in the grape juice for the would be husband and wife, a passion fruit for the wife and some oxtail soup for the husband,

That oxtail soup sends be bonkers 😂

And its when I get the shakes all over me especially with a glass of grape juice to wash it down cabernet sauvignon red wine also rich in aphrodisiac is all known to get the blood flowing which is known to send the husband and wife into a romantic condition.

And then they go bonkers on there honeymoon

And that's this happens

So here's what I know @HealthAndHappiness alcohol can damage the lining of the stomach, and that's just the alcohol itself, but is it alcohol or the ethanol alcohol type ? , then when the alcohol damages the stomach it is more prone to getting ulcers, and the villi being damaged, the magic beautiful villi

Now to The liver being damaged when it comes to digesting alcohol in the liver, it can produce some nasty toxins that can damage the liver to through the digesting process, but also whilst the liver is busy digesting alcohol it struggle to digest other foods properly so you get a double whammy of toxins, eventually the toxins can build up everywhere in the body.

So but is it alcohol that hasn't fully fermented that has no ethanol that can do this to

But alcohol that has fully fermented has ethanol,

So is it just alcohol of the ethanol type, that cause the most danger or is it both.

you would have to say that low amounts of alcohol found in foods on food shelves must be safe ? If it's both

And low amounts of alcohol ethanol must be safe to if they both have the same effect, ?

So do you have any knowledge of what I'm asking ?

This class might be of interest.
It gets into the deep dive to answer your questions in depth that is beyond the ability of a forum. I don't endorse the Drs view on evolution and all her views of the Carnivore Diet, however there is a lot of truth that applies. The entire class is informative, but the specific points you wanted to know about concerning the physiology of digestion begins around the 9+/- minute mark.

From Biblehub:
Topical Encyclopedia
Definition and Terminology:
In biblical terms, "new wine" refers to freshly pressed grape juice that is in the initial stages of fermentation. The term is often used to symbolize abundance, blessing, and the transformative work of God. In Hebrew, the word for new wine is "tirosh," while in Greek, it is "oinos neos."

Cultural and Historical Context:
In ancient Israel, wine was a staple of daily life and a symbol of joy and celebration. The process of winemaking was well understood, and the distinction between new and old wine was significant. New wine, being freshly pressed, was often sweeter and less potent than aged wine. It was a sign of the harvest and God's provision.

"New" was freshly pressed.
Let's not forget alcoholism can be passed down to children.

Just some things to think about while sneaking that sack in the house.

Jesus made the best fermented wine ever in Cana during a wedding feast. New wine was fermented! Pretty much all fermented food and drink are excellent for health!!

Sneaking it into your house? I’m not sure I understand your point?
There is nothing in the Bible that prohibits us to drink; every verse about drinking is about drunkenness, not drinking. You’re following a prohibition that was added by man (this was from the last 2 centuries); I believe this is the sin, following tradition rather than listening to God!

Best wine is the sweetest & new wine is best. It had only begun the process.
Whether Jesus made fermented wine, there's no proof at all.

Thinking on it, though, Jesus created new wine, the wine was just made so probably not alcoholic.

Do you recall the story of the Rechabites in Jeremiah (35)?

These were the only people who did not drink any wine. I don’t think God was very happy with them!!

I find it so amazing that many people would rather follow traditions instituted from the last 2 centuries than listen to what God says in Scripture. This mentality is synonymous to the Jews back in Jesus’ time; He reprimanded them for following traditions of men rather than listening to God!

-"The word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord in the days of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, saying, "Go to the house of the Rechabites, speak to them, and bring them into the house of the Lord, into one of the chambers, and give them wine to drink." Then I set before the sons of the house of the Rechabites bowls full of wine, and cups; and I said to them, "Drink wine." But they said, "We will drink no wine, for Jonadab the son of Rechab, our father, commanded us, saying, ‘You shall drink no wine, you nor your sons, forever. You shall not build a house, sow seed, plant a vineyard, nor have any of these; but all your days you shall dwell in tents, that you may live many days in the land where you are sojourners.’ Thus we have obeyed the voice of Jonadab the son of Rechab, our father, in all that he charged us, to drink no wine all our days, we, our wives, our sons, or our daughters, nor to build ourselves houses to dwell in; nor do we have vineyard, field, or seed. But we have dwelt in tents, and have obeyed and done according to all that Jonadab our father commanded us."
Jeremiah 35:1-2, 5-10 NKJV
-"Then came the word of the Lord to Jeremiah, saying, "Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: ‘Go and tell the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, "Will you not receive instruction to obey My words?" says the Lord. "The words of Jonadab the son of Rechab, which he commanded his sons, not to drink wine, are performed; for to this day they drink none, and obey their father’s commandment. But although I have spoken to you, rising early and speaking, you did not obey Me. I have also sent to you all My servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them, saying, ‘Turn now everyone from his EVIL way, amend your doings, and do not go after other gods to serve them; then you will dwell in the land which I have given you and your fathers.’ But you have not inclined your ear, nor obeyed Me. Surely the sons of Jonadab the son of Rechab have performed the commandment of their father, which he commanded them, but this people has not obeyed Me." ’"
Jeremiah 35:12-16 NKJV

With the scientists stating the stats against it, & all the news about drunk drivers killing people, & even the police can ticket you for a couple of beers, I can't see why so many "christians" want to drink in the first place.
In Jesus' day, the water was bad, but today we don't have that excuse.

Thinking on it, though, Jesus created new wine, the wine was just made so probably not alcoholic.

This is false! You don’t get drunk on grape juice, hence ALL the verses are about drunkenness. They had this problem just like we do today. There is nothing new under the sun! It’s common sense when reading all of the verses regarding this subject, and reading about the wedding feast in Cana, that He had made the best wine ever. Even the head of the feast remarked that most people serve their best wine first and then the cheap wine last (people are buzzed and don’t normally notice that the cheap stuff is then served), but it was different at this feast.

New wine is way too sweet, besides; you can’t drink much grape juice. The benefits come from the fermentation; good for health; it aids in digestion.

Yada, yada! I’m sure you can dredge up something about anything and everything to prove your point! The world calls Good things bad, and bad things good. So there you go. You go follow your man made traditions.

I’ll listen to God, thank you!

-"No longer drink only water, but use a little wine for your stomach’s sake and your frequent infirmities."

Which one of you would drive into the church parking lot with a beer bottle in your hand? A school parking lot? What about a home bible study? Church door knocking?
You see, it's more than the bible legalism issue. It's more about "What would Jesus do?"
Would Jesus risk alienating the public?
Even in these evil days, drinking in public looks bad.

You single men out there, If you're looking for that special someone to spend the rest of your life with, try talking to them with your 6/12 pack/case in your grocery cart. A christian woman wouldn't give you a second look.

Slice it/dice it all you want, but being seen with alcohol is morally questionable at best, thought of as a drunk at worst.

Jesus gladly ate and drank with sinners and His own, the apostles drank, the Jews drank. So again, I don’t understand your point in wanting to hang on to a 200 yr old, man made tradition?

I don’t think we go out with a beer/ wine glass in hand and knock on doors. You’re just bringing up rather ridiculous scenarios! Common sense, please!!
