Have you ever looked into the fact that Benny Hinn genuinely scams people? And lies, often. Not to rain on your parade, but it might be worth looking into. Mike Winger has an amazing video with tons of evidence. I am of the opinion currently that Benny Hinn is dangerous.

David Diga Hernandez was trained by Benny Hin, and I dont exactly watch him either. Mostly because his teachings to me are extra biblical and take scripture out of context far too often than im comfortable with.

I've never heard of these other teachers however.

fake healing …. Fake completely! It’s so obvious.. and yes , we should call out the wolves.
Romans 14:4 BSB
Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls. And he will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand.
If you think Benny Hinn is a fake preacher or whatever it's not in your place to judge. He is God's servant not your servant .God is well able to judge his own servants. He doesn't need your help.Who are you you to call out the wolves? Were you the one who called Benny Hinn ? Did you anoint him ? Before his master he stands or falls and He is able to lift him. Don't talk about things you know nothing of .Are you not afraid to talk about such matters? You're smiting your fellow servant thinking you're doing God good.It was the same thing the Pharisees did. They told Jesus he had a devil .You're repeating history and fulfilling Scriptures. As you're saying his healing services are fake, how many have you conducted yourself ?Start and let's see. Instead of us directing our target at the devil here we attacking members of the body Christ.

He asks people for money, a LOT. He implies that if they give him an offering, God will give them whatever they're asking for, whether that be prosperity or healing.

He has also shamed people who have not actually been healed, silencing them.

Not only that he has false prophecies that to my knowledge hes never openly confessed giving, and apologizing for.

I know nobodies perfect but I have a feeling that Hinn is unrepentant as hes still doing these things behind closed doors/ somewhat openly
These are all hear says.Have you had personal encounter with Benny Hinn yourself? How much money has he taken from you? Don't spreading false rumors and destroying God's work.Even if you feel a man a man of God is wrong just be quiet for your own sake.Lest you be like Miriam.

Numbers 12:1-2,8-9 BSB
Then Miriam and Aaron criticized Moses because of the Cushite woman he had married, for he had taken a Cushite wife. [2] “Does the LORD speak only through Moses?” they said. “Does He not also speak through us?” And the LORD heard this. [8] I speak with him face to face, clearly and not in riddles; he sees the form of the LORD.........Why then were you unafraid to speak against My servant Moses?” [9] So the anger of the LORD burned against them, and He departed.

1. Expose False Teachers

  • Ephesians 5:11“Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.”
Paul says believers are not only to avoid false works but also to bring them into the light.

This is all I will say on this subject.

I mean this in full respect my sister, I have to disagree with you here. They are not hear says, there is documented evidence with admission of Benny Hinn himself, I can find the evidence:)

I don't have to meet him privately to expose his ministry for public malpractice, His ministry is online, widespread. Therefore I feel as if it is right to take what I find online from him and his family/congregation and bring awareness to some harm he may be causing people.

God will not cause one to scam another (2 Peter 2:1-3,Titus 1:7), speak false prophesies(Mark 13:22,1 John 4:1,Jeremiah 14:14), or display fake miracles(Matthew 24:24), to shame others(1 Corinthians 13:4-13).

This is not Gods work. Now I am sure God can take a man full of unrepentant sin and work through that man. God can use anyone to bring himself glory, and others salvation.

I am not saying this against Benny himself, but rather his teachings and ministry. I have nothing against him personally, but rather his teachings and practices.

Okay, now for some things I found online with a quick google search. All of these are fact checkable, as they list sources.

Miracles:

In a 2004 investigation titled "Do You Believe in Miracles," the CBC program The Fifth Estate used hidden cameras to reveal how Hinn's staff selected people to come on stage during crusades. Those with visible, debilitating conditions, such as quadriplegics, were blocked and sent back to their seats. Staff instead favored individuals whose healings could not be immediately disproven, such as those with non-visible illnesses.

A 2001 HBO documentary, A Question of Miracles, followed seven people who claimed to have been healed at Hinn's crusades. The film's director later told CNN that none of the cases resulted in an actual cure.

Finances:

Despite claims of a modest lifestyle, investigations by Inside Edition (1993) and other outlets have revealed Hinn's expensive taste, including lavish homes, luxury cars, and a private Gulfstream jet, all funded by donations.

Prophesies

As for the prophesies you can find videos online of him giving the false prophesies

It is worth noting that he has apologized for his false prophesies, but I am not sure how genuine that may be, given that he has apologized for teaching the prosperity gospel/ word of faith teachings and continue to do so.

I will also add that he tries very hard to remove things from the internet that make him look less than ideal. I can find things of others commentating on his questionable actions, but not the plain videos themselves.
for example:

I am not afraid of being like Miriam, as I feel as contextually we differ here. I appreciate your concern though, it is admirable:)

What would be the appropriate emoji for this @Carlyw ?

This is accurate.

My beloved Kekli, what I believe you're participating in is cover up culture. This may or may not be intentional, but many in the hyper charismatic movement are conditioned to believe that it is evil to point out any malpractice in their teachings. They use scripture like "don't touch the Lords anointed", or ones like you have used. People need to be called out at times. Manipulation is bad, lies are bad, theft is bad, sexual immorality is bad. these things do not belong in the church. We should call them out as they are, rather than letting them go on.

Broo I love this question! And insite. I feel as if in Africa, the hyper charismatic movement has made a huge impact. And this inference is rather truthful from what I gather , as many lead apostles in the new apostolic reformation have begun ministry in the USA, but have gone out specifically to Africa to teach their theology/scriptural interpretations and church plant. I am not sure why that might be, but my old church which was part of the NAR said it was because "them africans just know the spiritual."

The issue is not the spiritual, which does exist to some extent, but rather that scripture is being twisted at times. My example being what our dear sister Kekeli has done with the scripture in Romans and Numbers. Not to say that shes completely wrong! She is very smart im sure, but the passages arent faithfully interpreted with the rest of scripture in mind.

With all of this in mind I add:
❤️ because we love our sister despite disagreements

🫠 because lots of messaging is lost through translation and interpretation

🤑 and this for Benny Hinn(calm down im like..mostly kidding)

I do care for what might be considered our brother in Christ. Though some might not even consider him as such due to his continual errors and lack of repentance through action. I hope to God and pray that he will repent, because I would love to see him with us in heaven.

Here are my recommendations...

In my opinion there are very few and Michael Yousef is the only one who comes to mind. There are a few others but it's been a while and don't remember their names.

Remove the judgmental John MacArthur who condemns people he disagrees with. He's another one who claims that you MUST believe in the trinity to be saved.

Isnt that what youre doing by saying that he should remove the guy? Kind of? Like saying he should remove him because you dont agree with him.

I believe that you have to believe in the father son and holy spirit as well.

I do believe in the Father, Son, and holy sprit. I just don't believe in the demonically inspired Catholic Trinity.

I said remove him because he's passes judgment on people CONDEMINING NON-TRINITARIANS. BIG DIFFERENCE. CAN YOU SEE IT?
