Soon as you question the narrative you are a liberal, it is impressive how they will work to suppress a different view with slurs and insults.
Tells me they are actually quite insecure about what they believe.
Often the "hate" label is pulled out because they think it is the winning card but in reality they have good evidence to support their opinion.
A throne is vested authority in a person, not a chair or a location. A throne is where the king is. The throne of David was given to Christ, but the nation of Israel rejected their king, so God moved the throne temporarily to heaven until things are set in order for it to be established upon earth. The world does this all of the time when a ruler has to flee his country, yet is still recognized as the king.

Jesus WILL sit on a Throne, with all authority, IN JERUSALEM, where King David's Throne (authority) was.

What I'm laughing at is your use of the term political to describe the throne of David as if somehow that means anything. A throne means absolute rule; politics really don't play a role in God's kingdom.

He's already sitting on the throne. It will just be moved to earth when the time comes. He rules over the kingdom of God now, but will directly rule over all nations then. It seems you're only viewing the throne through it's relation to other nations, ie, in a worldly sense

I have heard this taught, and seems to tie in with what we are seeing around us, Christians, genuine, Spirit-filled and walking out His guidance Christians, are getting stronger, the enemies minions are getting more outlandish, more reprobate, etc.
The increase in crime and violence parallels this.
We all need to be careful to keep ourselves stayed on Him and in Him lest we be distracted.
