They have simply made an idol of "free will" no matter that the Bible does not teach it at all. Quite the contrary...
Yes, and a god of themselves.
They have simply made an idol of "free will" no matter that the Bible does not teach it at all. Quite the contrary...
It is still morning here... west coast toast and coffee time LOLGood afternoon there now, hope your good.
Yep don't worry I've not dropped anythingthe most precious value I'm not dropping is enabling grace.
I'm just focusing on understanding the natural stand point of view, because all tho people are responding with the meat of word to you and I, and putting us both in a position to respond back with the meat of the word, I wonder if at all, all tho it's coming across as they can handle the meat word, can they ?
I'm not so sure, on the service all tho they think they can, can they
glad your back on board lol,It is still morning here... west coast toast and coffee time LOL
The free willers have all but made up this whole concept, it is nowhere taught
in the Bible, and actually contradicts what is said of man. So there is that...
They contradict what is said of God also. They are still on milk...
But they do get to choose what socks to wear. So they are confused on that basis.
Show us how to search for Jesus. What!? You mean we can search for Jesus with just our volitions? The whole person has to be engaged?
are you sure your not offendedThe Obfuscation committee is here....
Making sure nothing much is to be learned and benefitted from.
Keep our eyes on only one thing!
Man is depraved.
No free will.
Forget about the millions of doctrines that Christians can grow by.
I think we need to understand that a law of nature is absolute like gravity or how trees grow they have a designed operation in how they work and can never leave outside that design this is why it is called a lawpossibly but what if God created us with two laws of nature one to obey and one that could Disobey.
But on the bases of Disobeying in a positive way, say to Disobey someone telling you to bad
ok well what if that law to choose was a law of nature imprinted in our nature and something we would be held accountable for.I think we need to understand that a law of nature is absolute like gravity or how trees grow they have a designed operation in how they work and can never leave outside that design this is why it is called a law
If our ability to choose didn't exist then yes it would be a law of nature but because we have the ability to choose it is not a law of nature. in fact since we can choose we ourselves cannot be a law period of any kindbecause we are not absolute
Not borne by the Testimony of Scripture? That's your assumption which is not borne out by the testimony of scripture! I suppose you believe that Israel was basically God-fearing, faithful, loyal and obedient to God's holy Law and kept his covenant?
Thank you, sir... I do get up quite early most days (around 6 am) but I face northwest so get sunsets, not the rising sun...glad your back on board lol,
Did you have a nice sunrise.
God lives inside me.Have you been volitionally searching for God?
Trees are experts at leaving.I think we need to understand that a law of nature is absolute like gravity or how trees grow they have a
designed operation in how they work and can never leave outside that design this is why it is called a law
I keep forgetting you are not familiar with being raised by the Torah and Tanakh and have no comprehension concerning how God spoke to all humanity by addressing the single Prophet. These verses?
[Jer 29:13-14 KJV]
13 And ye shall seek me, and find [me], when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
14 And I will be found of you, saith the LORD: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the LORD; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.
This was my reply to you regarding those verses. Did you read it? Here it is again. "man" is not mentioned in them.
"In post 13544 you said that God tells "man" to seek Him:
"I am merely saying that if God tells man to seek Him"
However, in that verse, God does not tell "man" to seek Him; He tells "ye" to seek Him. Who do you think the "ye" is?
Whoever you determine that to be, they, and they alone " will" (must) find Him and that they will find Him is NOT optional nor left to chance.
[Jer 29:13-14 KJV]
13 And ye shall seek me, and find [me], when ye shall search for me with all your heart.
14 And I will be found of you, saith the LORD: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the LORD; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive."
I then added this reply:
"And what I should have included in my prior post to you was that, no, we do NOT make God a liar, instead, we confirm His doctrine as it was His intention that the verse be applicable to only a certain specific group of people but not everyone: those whom He chose from before the foundation of the world that THEY would and must seek and find Him."
Lol, that's obvious that it's impossible that I could be able to reach that purity and level of love for my neighbors.Have you ever loved someone the way Jesus loves?
most days for me lol, I see the sun rise and I'm there hoping and praying every morning, that my solar panels get the fully glory so I can quickly make a free cup of tea, before a cloud passes by lol.Thank you, sir... I do get up quite early most days (around 6 am) but I face northwest so get sunsets, not the rising sun...
How about you?
I keep forgetting you are not familiar with being raised by the Torah and Tanakh and have no comprehension concerning how God spoke to all humanity by addressing the single Prophet.
The wicked man boasts in the cravings of his heart; he blesses the greedy and reviles theIn those verses, God tells us exactly who He is speaking about - and that they would seek Him but not as a matter of chance.
Or they were acting according to the limited will they had based on their spiritual nature. They had Free Will—- They chose to listen to Satan rather than to God.
Hmm.... well I would say that without Christ then yes we would be held accountable but his love grace and mercy far outweighs our ability to disobey him su srevoc doolb stsirhC yhw si taht erutan ruo nid etnirpmi ertuan fo wal a saw ti ti fi neveosok well what if that law to choose was a law of nature imprinted in our nature and something we would be held accountable for.
Certainly.........I keep forgetting you are not familiar with being raised by the Torah and Tanakh and have no comprehension concerning how God spoke to all humanity by addressing the single Prophet.
