I have watched an awful lot of videos of different full auto guns and different trigger systems and even some military rifles and so, that video and 1900 figure struck me as perhaps plausible. The 22LR means a very short bolt throw so it does cycle fast! So maybe it's true?!

Even so I can hear what they say is 1900 rpm and have heard my binary trigger going all out and the Charger can make it sound obviously not semi auto and yet very similar to one stream of shots. However I can't match how fast that TX22 was shooting! There's a difference. FRT's may be better than Binaries?

The TX22 holds 22 rounds?! And it's only around $300 bucks, and another $100 for the trick trigger (FRT). 22 rounds on tap! My P22 only holds 10! <k II's and MK IV's are all 10 rounds too. I used to have a MK II that was like, impossible to miss with, wow. I regret letting that one get away from me.

That price is sweet, especially considering the cost of preban autos, ammo, paper trail, etc.
These 22 options seem much more reasonable except for maybe those who have their ammo paid for by tax payers.

I used to have a Ruger mk II like that until someone broke in and took the collection. I know how you feel.

Couldn't find it to respond, somewhere here today someone spoke of a difference in firing rates between the Charger and the Mark 3?
It came to mind the M1 carbine went to a full bolt to slow firing rate when they went to full auto.
blessings

That's one that used to be in the collection before they were collected by a thief.
Libs will say we need laws against that.

What kind of weird alien is holding that Taurus? Good grief...

Taurus TSX22's are pretty amazing. I have two of them. The compact version is pretty quiet with the suppressor on it. I could target practice in my residential backyard with no alarmed neighbors...

Both of mine have been completely dependable... flawless in cycling anything from sub-sonic up to the "hyper" rounds.

I was wondering that too.

That's mighty impressive!
Someone claimed that the competition model was around 17 ounces too. It's got a longer threaded bull barrel though. I'm wondering how good it would be in an UL pest control field carry role? Ground hogs and what not don't show up for me except when I don't expect them. Something under 20oz for under 100 yards would be ideal.

The accuracy of my full size one is pretty darn good... you can get an Uncle Mike's nylon holster for it, and you won't even notice you are wearing it, fully loaded...

That one on the bottom off a bench is one ragged hole! I think if you can get within the effective range for 22 without spooking it, that would be perfect off a lawnmower seat.
Thanks for the awesome target.
I like that they use aluminum slides. It's only low pressure 22 so that makes them good and lightweight.

oh... I see what you are talking about now.... I wish I could claim that with the .22, but that is actually a hole from one of my .357s.... I had shot the center of the target with it, then wanted to try the .22, so I put the pasters on the "used" target. I circled the .357 holes so as not to get confused with any new holes in the target. ..... I wish I was capable of putting all of them in one hole.... but the closest I can get to that is with my 10/22 rifle... it's a shooter... this was from Friday... 10 rounds of Blazer ammo at 50 yards...
One of these days I'll shoot the TX22 for accuracy, just to see what I can do with it...

That 10/22 is a tack driver!

Saw a really nice S&W Model 19, pinned and recessed private sale $800.00
With box

That's a classic. Some say they were more accurate and better fit/ finish than the more modern S&Ws.
I doubt you see the older vintage ones like that every day.
Vintage is best IMHO.

My complaint with the Ruger 22 Charger is they didn't furnish iron sights with it. I'm used to peep sights on my 10/22's.
It would need to be just an open type sight for the Charger, I would think... not many people shoot a handgun right up by their face as would be necessary for aperture sight use. I guess it could be done, but a regular open type sight should work...
Red/green dot sights might be better.... I had one on a P10C 9mm and liked it, but I wasn't very fast at acquisition in a "hurry up and shoot" scenario, as would happen in a self defense situation. I know learning to be fast with one is do-able, but I never worked with it enough to master it.
On a more "deliberate" kind of thing, such as target or hunting, I think they would be perhaps better than open sights..

The TX22 holds 22 rounds?!
It does, but it's an over-long magazine... it hangs out the bottom of the grip a ways...
Standard capacity with a flush fitting mag is more like 15-16..... still a 50% improvement over most .22 pistols. The compact version holds 13, IIRC.
