I thought this was settled science already lol. But those shape shifting lizard people from middle earth we definitely got to watch out for them.

A very good question. A very wise question if asked in/with sincerity and a willingness to learn what the Bible really actually says.
First of all, the Bible does not say "The earth is flat." in direct simple terms - there is not a single verse that states it point-blank like this; however, what it does say describes the earth in a way that indicates that it is flat and stationary. And, even more importantly, it shows us that it cannot possibly be a spinning ball flying through space.
Many relevant verses have been given and explained in various flat earth threads of the past. You might want to take a look at those threads if you are truly interested in understanding what the Bible has to say about the shape of the earth.
Do not pay attention to the naysayers in those threads; instead, focus on what the Bible really actually says.
Do not allow your mind to wrap scripture around modern science. You must resist the tendency to do this.
Put everything you have been taught since birth on a shelf and only listen to what the Bible is telling you.
Yet, it "goes flat" after someone seriously-with-sincerity considers the question that was posed in post #40 and very diligently seeks out the truth from scripture. (and finds it - and understands it - and believes it)
You have been lied to since birth concerning the shape of the earth - not to mention, about many other things also.
With specific regard to the above statement - this is a good place to start:
Joshua 10:
12 Then spake Joshua to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon. 13 And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day.
2 Kings 20:
9 And Isaiah said, This sign shalt thou have of the LORD, that the LORD will do the thing that he hath spoken: shall the shadow go forward ten degrees, or go back ten degrees? 10 And Hezekiah answered, It is a light thing for the shadow to go down ten degrees: nay, but let the shadow return backward ten degrees. 11 And Isaiah the prophet cried unto the LORD: and he brought the shadow ten degrees backward, by which it had gone down in the dial of Ahaz.
Isaiah 38:
7 And this shall be a sign unto thee from the LORD, that the LORD will do this thing that he hath spoken; 8 Behold, I will bring again the shadow of the degrees, which is gone down in the sun dial of Ahaz, ten degrees backward. So the sun returned ten degrees, by which degrees it was gone down.
Time cannot stand still or go backward on a spinning ball flying through space. However, it can on a flat earth with the sun moving in a circular path up above the earth.
That just shows God is all powerful and can do whatever he wants with creation. Not that the earth is flat.
The "God can do anything" argument is not where you will find the true answer - "what did God [actually] do" is where you need to look...
Thats funny. God turned the sun off in Egypt dosent mean its flat. God made a shadow move dosent mean the arth is flat. God made a day last 24 hours dosent mean the earth is flat. He's God he can literly do anything.
He did not turn the sun off; rather, He made it stay in its place for a whole day. In the second example, He made the sun move backwards. And, it is not so much that it proves the earth is flat - it proves that the earth cannot possibly be a spinning ball flying through space.

Im trying to figure this out. You do realize that the sun moving backwards or the earth spinning backwards would have the same effect right? Are you saying God cannot stop the earth from spinning?
