But why and how did the lord count moses act of believing as righteous.

Why is there so few instances of faith being mentioned in the old t
You'll have to ask the Author ... who (or what) God has included in Scripture is who (or what) God has included in Scripture.

We discussed exodus now genesis

The pattern is, God relays a message on people hearts but yet only a few are mentioned as being thought of more highly.

What is in that message that lets God decide what he decides the way he does, when he says none is righteous, no, not one; no one understands; no one seeks for God

Why so many people there all human.

Surely out of all those people you would think some more could have had there acts counted as righteous.
can you at least agree that who/what God has included in Scripture is who/what God wanted to include in Scripture?

I do believe this is where enabling grace is sufficient. God is able to decide that not one is righteous, because his message, was not only a private message but also his will is enabling grace is within that message.

But why are we told that not one is righteous in Romans

When the act of believing of Moses and Noah was countrd.as righteous.

Don't you think it's the lords own righteousness that is being counted in there hearts and not there own
yes it is the Lord's righteousness that is imputed to those who believe.

God clothes the born again one with the garments of salvation and covers the born again one with the robe of righteousness:

Isaiah 61:10 I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.

When a preacher shares the gospel on a Sunday morning, is the word of God going forth?
That is a great question Cameron143 ... and when we sit through the teaching of the pastor, we are to be like the Bereans ...

Acts 17:11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

there are other verses which come to mind, but you get my drift ...
.

How would a FWer know? They don't understand the gospel message since it includes much they reject, deny, and contradict.
sad that you actually submitted this post ... and that Cameron143 heart hearted it ...

Ephesians 4:31-32 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

“Why do you call Me good?” Jesus replied. “No one is good except God alone. Mark ch. 10 verse 18 and Luke ch. 18 verse 19 “There is only One who is good.” Matthew ch. 19 verse 17b. There is no one who does good. fr Psalm ch. 14. There is no one righteous, not even one. Romans ch. 3 verse 10. They are corrupt; their ways are vile. There is no one who does good. All have turned away, they have together become corrupt; there is no one who does good, not even one. fr Psalm ch. 53 verses 1-3. Surely there is no righteous man on earth who does good and never sins. Ecclesiastes ch. 7 verse 20. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

So what's the answer? How about Acts 7 when Stephen preached. Was that the word of God going forth?

gospelfoolishness.png

The gospel is foolishness to the natural man, since he can neither accept nor comprehend the spiritual things of God. It is impossible for his incurably wicked heart to grow the seed of God’s Word into the good fruit of faith while he is captive to the will of the devil. Along with the rest of the world who does not know God, he is blinded to the truth and under the power and influence of Satan, rendered incapable of submitting to or obeying God, with Whom he is inherently hostile toward in his mind, for he craves what is contrary to the Spirit. He suppresses the truth in unrighteousness, refusing to come into the light because he is a slave to sin, a lover of darkness, defined as darkness itself, and his deeds are evil.

Isaiah-Psalm-Psalm-Proverbs-Ephesians-Romans-Ephesians.png

The LORD of Hosts has sworn: “Surely, as I have planned, so will it be; as I have purposed, so will it stand.” Isaiah 14 verse 24 The counsel of the LORD stands forever, the purposes of His heart to all generations. Psalm 33 verse 11 Our God is in heaven; He does as He pleases. Psalm 115 verse 3 Many plans are in a man’s heart, but the purpose of the LORD will prevail. Proverbs 19 verse 21 In Him we were also chosen as God’s own, having been predestined according to the plan of Him who works out everything by the counsel of His will. Ephesians 1 verse 11 And we know that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose. For those God foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brothers. And those He predestined, He also called; those He called, He also justified; those He justified, He also glorified. Romans 8 verses 28-30 For He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world to be holy and blameless in His presence. In love He predestined us for adoption as His sons through Jesus Christ, according to the good pleasure of His will. Ephesians 1 verses 4-5

James 1 verse 12 plus Psalm 34 verse 19 ~ Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him from them all.

I did. But that's what happens when the truth of scripture challenges the assumptions of people.
They will either admit their error, double down on their mistake, or just grow silent.
It is extremely rare these free willers admit any error. Oh. Some would rather blaspheme God than do that.

may I ask after all the thoughts exchanged what you believe about having free will ?

The more I study this the more I just can't see it,
Have you ever done a study about the hardened heart.
Or have you ever been asked or have any idea when God hardens the sinners heart.

Jeremiah 17 verse 9 plus John 3 verses 19-20 ~ The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it? This is the verdict: The Light has come into the world, but men loved the darkness rather than the Light because their deeds were evil.

It certainly seems so sometimes.
Telling us God raped Mary if He did not ask permission is a bit more than it seems so. Repeatedly telling us God is unfair, the same.

And have you seen how many jump on defending the blasphemer?

John3-19-20-Psalm10-4s.png

John 3 verses 19-20 and from Psalm 10 verse 4 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of Light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come into the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. The wicked reviles the Lord

Faith must by necessity must precede regeneration, faith is an instrument, not a state of being.

Capisci!
