MAN makes the difference! All we gotta do is conjure up some "volitional faith" per Studier.
Yes well we must understand that some of these free willers do not even understand the ramifications of what they teach. And
they are so wise in their own eyes they believe God convinced them of the truth and then they could choose not to believe it.

To revel in the spoils of war?
Admittedly, there are slim pickings among your crew

IOW, you enjoy reveling and wallowing in the muck 'n' mire of your pride. And what's even worse....over a huge nothingburger.

The Bible is null and void of teaching that saving faith is a special gift of God to a privileged and particular few.

The Gospel is the power of God unto salvation (to whosoever), and as the sinner hears the Word of Truth, he or she is born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God (I Pet. 1:23).

Quoting someone who makes the same error you do only contorts the word again. Just you, he fails to quote the entire verse and leaves off...to those who believe. The gospel is not the power of God for unbelievers.

Well according to AI your are even outside of Calvinism now.... woah really drifting here.

No, Calvinists do not separate eternal life from regeneration; rather, they believe regeneration, or the new birth, is the cause and precursor to faith and is the point at which eternal life truly begins for the elect. Regeneration is understood as a direct work of God, a quickening of the spiritually dead person to spiritual life, making it possible for them to believe in Christ
/Google Gemini/
Regeneration a word that just adds added meaning to his saving grace.

When you or ai explains it the other way round regeneration without no mention of saving grace.

Which is understandable because AI has no conviction.

But what I would do is ask Gemini if they should be held accountable to God for there actions.

The response you will get is one that has been programmed by an atheist

Regeneration unites the believer with Christ, granting them the spiritual benefits of His death and resurrection BUT that EXCLUDES eternal life that comes later.

Romans 6:4
“We were therefore buried with Him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.”

No error, traditional, biblical correctly exegeted scripture.
Yup those who first believe and then regeneration.

Thankfully there are still some teachers around who stayed the course.
Thank you Jesus. 🙏

Anyway still waiting to read how a person is regenerated but has not yet received eternal life.
Should be good!!! (y)

That is quite the double bind they present, which is the height of wisdom the free will camp offers:

Because if someone is convinced of something, they are already in a state of believing it.

But they tell us, they then can choose to reject what they already believe to be true.

Double bind for their double speak. Seems fitting.

David was a winner and very little in the way of pride problems.
So yea, God loves a winner. He specializes in making winners from losers BTW.

It was a response to me. You quoted my post. And stop with the insinuating. I'm as cool as the other side of the pillow.

I thought you were referring to the other post.
Well, one someone adheres to the central tenets of "calvinism" I would say they are in the that "school"

Another @Cameron143 rabbit trail that leads nowhere.

Augustine did not.
Without him this whole mess would not have existed.
Paul taught on man's inability. He wrote of the natural man quite a bit, but alas, you reject what he says to the point it does not even exist.

He had a very good grasp of what was going on between God and man, quite unlike you.

But few there are that understand it. Least of all the determinists.

If a man is physically dead, he must be made physically alive to experience and engage with physical reality. Likewise, if an individual is spiritually dead, he must be made spiritually alive in order to experience and engage in spiritual reality. It's not a tough concept.

Perhaps you need to work into your formula being sealed with the promised Holy Spirit.

Have you stopped butchering Romans 1 v 16 yet?

Romans 1:16 says plainly:
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.”

Notice the WHO!!
It does NOT state >>>>>> to whom I bestow belief.

You cannot see it because who are so accustomed to reading in what is not there.

So yes the statement is a distortion and sad I might add.

"The gospel is not the power of God for unbelievers."

The Gospel is for unbelievers who believe the message of it, put place their faith in Christ Jesus for salvation and receive the gift and become believers!!
