better still @Cameron he will tell that dummy to speak for himself lololprobably he has a ventriloquist dummy that keeps saying I hate having my life run by somebody else.![]()
Well then, explain the difference in "concepts"
No, faith doesn't precede, that would be impossible. A spiritually dead person cannot believe.
They must first be made spiritually alive and that comes with rebirth,
I know, that's your belief, but it is incorrect.
But whichever word you choose to use, you nevertheless agree that it occurs at rebirth, right?

You and your cronies show a lot of heartlessness.there is a heartlessness to Calvinism that is tragic.
Just another logical fallacy from you. It's one of your specialties. YourI think this confirms how this "doctrine" affects people.
There has been tacit assent to what Sproul said though.I think this confirms how this "doctrine" affects people.
As someone stated, and it proves to be true on here and in Sproul's Jr response, there is a heartlessness to Calvinism that is tragic.
Sproul Jr. stated very clearly she received the judgement from God she had earned.
Has there been any condemnation of this statement on this thread.
There has been NONE.
Obviously you don't. You don't know what God knows. You see a few threads in a garment and think you understand the complexity of God. God is weaving thousands upon thousands of threads all at once. And we have a promise that all things work together for good for those who love God. I guess all doesn't mean all unless you say it does.Back to the "you don't understand."![]()
Either you don't understand or you deliberately misrepresent. It is probably a mix, since you do showBack to the "you don't understand."![]()
Sproul Jr. did not call up Romans 8:28 or anything of the like in his condemnation.Obviously you don't. You don't know what God knows. 1) false. Jesus weeps for all the right reasons, the tragedy befalling this little girl being one of them.Romans 8:28.
From a human perspective it is tragic,
1) but not from God's perspective.
2) And that's what he's talking about.
You can look these things up easily. I believe Ephesians 1:4 and Deuteronomy 7:6-8.
You mean preachers and teachers who ignore whole swaths of the Bible topreachers and teachers of the word correctly exegeting the text.
That is your god alright.
The author of both good and evil, hate and love, in equal measure.
R. C. Sproul would be proud.
“God wills all things that come to pass…God desired for man to fall into sin. I am not accusing God of sinning; I am suggesting that God created sin.” R.C. Sproul Jr., Almighty Over All (Grand Rapids: Baker Book House, 1999), 54
I haven't heard Sproul on the subject, but I have heard many reformed speakers say as much. If God, indeed, works all things to the good of those that love Him, from God's perspective there are no tragedies. That doesn't mean we don't experience pain or mourn with those who mourn. It simply means God is so much more grand in His perspective and actions than some are want to consider.Sproul Jr. did not call up Romans 8:28 or anything of the like in his condemnation.
Quit trying to cover-up/sidetrack this Reformed scandal with high sounding platitudes.

The promise is to individuals...us. It's the same...whom...are predestined in Romans 8:30. Notice what isn't predestined, but...whom.This has been de-Calvinized ages ago on here, by preachers and teachers of the word correctly exegeting the text.
Paul is writing to the faithful in Christ Jesus.
The faithful in Christ Jesus are predestined before the foundation of the world to >>>>>>> holiness, blamelessness, and adoption in verses 4 and 5
Pre-destination .. the destination is set before hand
God has chosen those in Him to be blameless in his sight. The passage is a list of blessings for those in Him. Not a choosing of who will become believers.
The End!!
Calvinist election debunked.
