I have a Sinful Nature and a Deceitful Heart that keeps me on my Knees and The Bible convicts me. Im not out there overtly Sinning like a Fornicator or anything, but I notice that I can be uncaring and sometimes live on Moral Autopilot at times. So I keep an eye on my self. Living around Buddhist Monks seems to effect me.

Ask God
Ezekiel 36:26
Receive from God Father of risen son the risen Son to live through you in Spirit and Truth for you in love and mercy as given you from God alone that loves you too. who by Son took away Psalm 103:12, you can now say to Father thank you Psalm 100:4 And know from within you you are given that new Heart of the original Heart the first Adam had, which the second Adam (Jesus) gives back as said in Ezekiel 36:26 to live new without harming others, even those that go against you. no more dead works of accusing, manipulating, controlling or excusing, anyone else.
I see freedom given in Col 2, yet read Chapter 1 first to keep in context please.
However, whoever is sincere to Know Father and Son will know and be set free from bondage of others trying to control others , trying to be leaders. We are given by God everything needed for life and Godliness through the risen Son given us to see it and be humbly confident in it, at least me after a long walk off a short pier daily, trying to be, what I never could be, that as perfect. Son is that for you and all.
Thank you, Father and Son for doing what no one else could ever do

Galatians a great Epistle to read the entire Epistle without verses, might open our eyes, it did mine does mine. Along with all the other epistles written as well, like 1,2,3 John do amazing deep love for us from God to us all. Thanks

Repentance is a lifetime necessity ✝️

Once one, anyone does repent to God between God and them personally, the new life begins as one can depend on God to see one through, and not take it for granted and use it for self gain ever, as I remember I had, repented now, as King David, who saw, he did wrong to God in his wrongs he did over Bathsheba.

See in Eph 1, we are accepted, forgiven and sealed by God to see this reconciliation from God's love, truth and mercy, verses 6,7,13 accepted, forgiven and sealed by God in risen Son, not the dead one, that only died willingly once for us all, done presently and forever sin taken away, in Father's sight for us, to now enter the throne of grace in confidential, thankfulness and be taught new, only if one is willing to be dependent on God, as Jesus is, even unto willing death. Are we? I trust we will see, I see willingness Father's will, not my own or anyone else's, thanks
That is all that is left after the cross, is to choose God or self, evil defeated in the risen Son. Time for me to reckon me dead to sin now too by Son for me and y'all too, anyone else?

IMO confession is what Catholics do to a priest. Acknowledgement is walking in agreement with God, ie, saying the same thing. Homo (same) logeo (something said)

Can two walk together, except they be agreed? Amos 3:3
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9
Confess
G3670 ὁμολογέω homologeo (ho-mo-lo-ǰe'-ō) v.
1. to affirm.
2. to admit, acknowledge.

When we admit we are a sinner and confess Christ and repent of our sins we should have the belief that we have to turn away from sins and do not want to do sins for if not then how is it repenting.

2Ti 3:4 lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
2Ti 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
2Ti 3:7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Some people do not come to that truth but enjoy sin saying we cannot abstain from sin, and we are not perfect.

Or they repent of all their past sins and repent of a sin when they do it but hold unto the sin which is not repenting if you hold on to the sin, or they do not repent believing they are covered.

They do not allow the Spirit to lead them because they love the ways of the flesh believing they are saved and never come to the truth.

These people were not saved to begin with and their repentance was faulty.

1Ti 2:3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
1Ti 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

Rev 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

1Co 10:12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

2Ti 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

Mat 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Mat 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Some believe that God chooses them in the beginning so they cannot fall so they enjoy sin believing they are alright and do not understand the Bible.

God wants all people to be saved and whoever wants that salvation can have it.

The Bible plainly states that the Lord knows them that are His having this seal that everyone that names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

Which is why Jesus said depart from me you who work iniquity.

So how can they say that their sins do not matter, and if we have to abstain from sin then there is a way to do it which is to allow the Spirit to lead us.

Gal 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
Gal 5:17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Gal 5:23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
Gal 5:24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

1Co 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

A Spirit led person will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh and God will give them an escape from temptation so they can bear it.

So what is the excuse.

But not everybody comes to the truth denying the power thereof.

Their repentance is no good unless they turn away from sin.

Luk 9:62 And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.

Rom 11:20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:
Rom 11:21 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.
Rom 11:22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

1Co 9:26 I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:
1Co 9:27 But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

Castaway
From G1 (as a negative particle) and G1384; unapproved, that is, rejected; by implication worthless (literally or morally): - castaway, rejected, reprobate.

2Pe 2:20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
2Pe 2:21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.
2Pe 2:22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

These are people that have been saved but they went back to enjoying sin and if they do not correct it they will be cut off like the Jews in the Old Testament that did not obey.

If they do not correct it they are not fit for the kingdom of God.

Heb 10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
Heb 10:27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

If a person holds on to sin the blood of Christ cannot wash it away for God will not take away a sin they hold on to.

For those that hold unto sin believing they are saved denying the power thereof and never come to the truth none of their sins have been washed away.

For those that have been saved every time they sin they forfeit repentance so they are back at square one and must repent.

If a person holds on to sin the blood of Christ cannot wash it away for God will not take away a sin they hold on to.

This is a crucial point. If we are not walking in agreement with God, we are walking away from him. We must let go of sin and turn back to God in order to be cleansed

Repent then and turn around into the wiping away of your sins, so that times of recovery should come from [the] presence of the Lord, Acts 3:19

Or do you think Repentance is a Lifestyle?

True Repentance is a mind change ----that goes deeper as it will affect the heart --will and your behaviour ----

You have a Nature to sin ----but you don't have to sin ----you want to sin -----

If you commit adultery -----that was your choice to do so --no one made you do it ----you could have said NO I won't commit adultery ------

I realized that I couldnt always blame outside sources for Temptation and Failure, even though sometimes thats the case.

Satan works in your Mind and puts the thought in your mind to pull you into sinful actions ----but you have a choice to accept Satan's temptation or not ---but Satan can be pretty persuasive to get you to act on the sin ---Know your enemy and how he works so you can stand against him ---

So sorry, you are under Law, and do the curse of sin yourself, and preach as if you are not ever sinning again ever. You deny the done work of Father by Son done once for us all, Hebrews 10
Love to you to truly repent between God and you and not use Law to get in others mindsets, as if the cross did not ever take away sin to begin with, John 1:29. 19:30. That is what I read from your post, you are under Law and put others under Law, and speak as if one sins again, God kicks them out. Which God does not do that as religionists do, seeking people to join them and make them twice the sons of Hell as themselves, the same as the Pharisees were doing to others then as well.
You are under Law and put others under Law, Romans 7, Re-read * the love and mercy of God for us all, includes you
Believe God, receive from God and learn truth, you need God and have not quit sin, or have you? Tell me is your obedience fulfilled, if is, please share how you are now perfect of yourself ever and that you do not ever get angry at anyone or ever use anyone to get what you want?

Living Bible
2 Cor, 10:5-6
5 These weapons can break down every proud argument against God and every wall that can be built to keep men from finding him. With these weapons I can capture rebels and bring them back to God and change them into men whose hearts’ desire is obedience to Christ. 6 I will use these weapons against every rebel who remains after I have first used them on you yourselves and you surrender to Christ.

2 Corinthians 10:5-6

Authorized (King James) Version

5 casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; 6 and having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

Metanoia is a Greek word (μετάνοια) that literally means “change of mind” or “repentance.” In a biblical or spiritual context, it often refers to a profound, transformative change in a person’s heart and mind—a turning away from sin or a previous way of life toward God.

Key points about metanoia:

  • Literal meaning: “Change of mind” or “change of thinking.”
  • Spiritual sense: True repentance or turning from past behaviors toward God.
  • New Testament usage: Frequently appears in passages calling people to repent, e.g., in Matthew 3:2 or Acts 2:38. It’s more than just feeling sorry—it implies action and transformation.

Thank god for Christs doctrine

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭1:9-10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven: give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall be given into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭6:36-38‬ ‭

at his doctrine isnt for sinless perfect people who repented once and then never had another issue it’s for those fighting the good fight , who sometimes get knocked down . Jesus wiol
Pick us up and dust us off again if we turn to him in repentance from the heart . His mercy doesn’t end when we meet him it begins there

Hi.. lol this will get some posts. Not to get into deep here. Hebrews was written to duh Hebrews yet for us also but written to them. Paul or the sweet holy Spirit told us sacrifice never took away sins. Christ comes the ..oh....the lamb of God ..He comes in the flesh dies for the worlds sin. Were told He died we died He rose we rose. So that one sacrifice was good or not? No what sin can you do today He never died for? Also think 1st John.. who was He talking to? Ever really read it? "If we confess our sins...". If? So if you don't confess your sins He won't forgive you? You are no longer righteous? I thought were righteous because we believe in Jesus yes?

Just tossing this out. 1st chapter .. read how it starts.. we seen we touched we heard. Get to the next what chapter .. now read it "My little children". See 1st Chapter he's talking to those that didn't believe Christ in the flesh was the messiah because it was flesh. Its a group back then .. that's who he was talking to. So if you don't confess your not forgiven.. no righteous any more? This some then jump to what that to much grace.

All that being said... me..... He praise GOD already died for me. I am grafted in to the vine (Christ) my "works" good bad does not keep me grafted in. All yes all my sins have been forgiven. Like Paul or really the sweet holy Spirit said.. its no longer I that sin but sin that is in me. As He said.. NO this does not mean I can freely sin. So why do I repent then since even in the OT He said He will remember their sin no more. I did something the enemy can use against me so to speak.. I can miss what God is doing if I sin or stay in sin.. so I repent.. I do a 180.

I don't have to like Jewish believes when they got saved would go back and offer a sacrifice for that sin. They were told.. there is no more sacrifice for that sin. Is what Adam and Eve did... does that have more power then what Christ did? He died already for you.. we fall we sin .. just get back up dust off.....repent go on. You never focus on the sin you focus on what He did already for you. I have since I was saved what 50+ years ago never once ever had a desire to freely sin because I have been forgiven. Its.. oh Jesus.. goof up again sorry. Keep going. You don't get stuck there.

Its like when people talk about other believers...what believer has no desire to seek to find the good someone does for Christ first? What believer sees sin does not look for the good first? Same thing in my life.. i don't focus on the sin. This flesh loves to sin... I am a new man.... I put off the old man.. I am renewed in the spirit of my mind.. I now every day put on the new man which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. See the world knows we are His by our love one for another.
