i'm working for the Kingdom until it happens.I'm just working till it happens.
Today went so much better.
Got both lawns mowed and weed-eater-ed.
Then 20 feet of tree trunk cut up into smaller pieces and hauled up to the front. No firewood out of this....absolutely full of carpenter ants. Don't want that anywhere near the house.
Then began unboxing my washer and learned the controls. Got oil in it. Extension wand attached. They had already put oil in the pump....so I was good with that.
Then off to the store, got pool bleach and pre-mixed gas, more TSP, buckets, flexible putty knife, and some painters rags.
Then cleaned up porch, moved storm windows and shutters.
Cut down 1 more boxwood shrub (6' tall....way overgrown) and hauled up to the street in thecpiled up tree, moved the lights, and set up the next 7 feet of scaffolding (14' total) so I can get the eaves and gingerbread with the pressure washer tomorrow.
Just need to get the hose out and connected.....it's on the far side of the house. But I got 200 ft of true ¾" rubber hose. (4 gallon per minute pressure washer means I need 4 gallons per minute delivered to the washer)
The hose is HEAVY. And I got 20' or 50' of High pressure hose that came with the washer....but I bought 100' extension. I'll be able to reach no matter what.
Wife will be out at some women's meeting tomorrow morning at church.....oh well. Means my truck will be gone.
I think I need an adult beverage.
And some Tylenol.
man, you had a day!![]()
welcome to the "busy-a-holics" club!Yeah....did.
Today I fired up the washer.
Ran out the 200' of garden hose. Uggghhhh....heavy!
Run the pressure washer up to the side of the house from the "back 40" behind the carport. Mixed up some housewash.
½ C TSP
1qt pool bleach/chlorinator (cheap stuff is great)
1 qt of water
Put the soap line into a bucket with the housewash.
Pulled up my saw horses and put the shutters on them.
Fired up the washer and away we went.
First with the soap tip and hosed everything down well.
Turned it off and gave it a few minutes.
Cranked up the pressure.
Then turned it back on and started blasting.
Let me just say....
I gave my arms a workout.
4400 psi @4 gallons per minute is a BEAST. Hands went numb from blood loss. You have to keep pushing on it like push-ups....it's got some kickback.
But it did a great job at blasting off dirt and old paint . Then I went and blasted my concrete stairs....then the sidewalk that my driveway crosses. It's a beast that takes off everything.
Caution is needed though and I exercised plenty. @4400 psi water WILL:
Cut concrete, limbs, shoes, or whatever you put in it's path.
Things go flying when that kind of pressure is applied. I wore safety glasses and steel toe boots (composite toe)
Harsh chemicals getting sprayed is also no joke and these are some harsh chemicals. Wear rubber gloves and goggles. (Hats too if you don't want your hair bleached) Of course wear old clothes you care NOTHING about....they will develop holes and bleach spots afterwards.
But lots of paint went flying....
So now we wait for it to all dry out. And come Monday I will begin to grind off the paint. (Lead paint; so respirators, vacuum systems, and safety glasses and dew rag.
I'm exhausted just reading your messageYeah....did.

Come Monday I get to begin scraping, grinding, and sanding....getting ready for paint. And since it's got lead paint underneath it's a whole world of respirators, vacuum cleaner running to the sanding equipment....all sorts of fun stuff.I'm exhausted just reading your message![]()
Pretty sure they evolved from people who believe in evolutionGiving consideration to evolution, I'm wondering what lesser life form the common gnat or mosquito evolved from?
Mosquitos you can hear buzzing ya, they are male and they don't bite.
The silent females are the ones that nail ya 'n' suck your blood.

With Deepest Sympathy

1st, get on my knees & thank the Lord, 2nd laugh for a while, 3rd, retire permanently, 4th, make dinner reservations ar Siro's of Saratoga, they are closed now after track season but i know the owner & he would open up for me & Gabriel Kreuther's of Manhattan, 5th, build dream home in the Caribbean, 6th, find the best musicians possible & initiate a band, 7th, plant a church in which i would be the drummer in the church band & NO ONE WILL BE CHEATING, YOU HAVE TO MEMORIZE YOUR PARTS, JUST LIKE THE OLD DAYS!!!!!!, too many more things to list. & now, Eli1, if i win, i'll assist you monetarily. i did not know the powerball was that high because i don't gamble. but i am going to play Saturday. thanks. What would you do if you won this kind of money?
Personally i would create an organization which would help or fasttrack the process of liberals leaving USA.
I would be doing the country a favor and liberals would be happy with my speedy services.
It's a win-win situation and for me it would be a pleasure to do this so it won't even be called work.
