He has achieved his goal in sowing lies, confusion and discord.

Actually I started out trying to reason with you. Remember your first days on the forum? I tried real hard for a long time to use logic, understanding and compassion with you.

But you consistently dismiss anything that does not agree with what you prefer to believe. You never listen to anybody.

So I gave up.

What exactly was my lie? I just asked a simple question - how was it that you were misled? You don't have to answer if you chose not to, but why start the thread only to criticize those that may respond? Do you really know me well enough to say that I am a wicked man? I think not.

Young 20-something girls might be pretty but they definitely lack maturity. 20-something guys have had to mature to avoid the pitfalls of false accusations, baby/paycheck traps, and every other sort of manipulation or trap to enslave them....like student loan debt, worthless training schools or other training programs that cost more than they return...

As a 23 year old woman I disagree with you on some level, but also agree with you on another. I dont have social media, I love the idea of privacy and dislike how self centered the world is becoming. I think many men are undisciplined and many women are immodest. But there are outliers. I think people are inherently self centered as sin is our nature, and I would hope to God that through Christ most Christians would be an outlier.

But at the same time I do know in the Bible that it says that the older women should teach the young women to be loving and respectful. So chances are we naturally struggle with this.

And at the same time, it asks that the Older men teach the younger to be disciplined.

I think for this reason dating older men/women is appealing, some are more mature for their age range and really want to settle down.

But from my expirience from dating older men(no Christian older man would date me, but even if they would had I wasn't a Christian at the time), they wanted me because they liked the gimmick of dating a younger woman, they called me mature but really we were both immature.

I do not believe men mature faster, though they tend to be more set on being financially stable. I have met immature people at all ages, and I myself am not perfectly matured, or even close. There's always room to grow. Everyone's different and to say that "younger women", or "younger men", or "older men or women" is too generalized in my opinion.

Though I highly value your input and agree with you on MANY levels. I do see why people date outside of there age range and I think you gave a perfectly explained and well reasoned answer to why, especially regarding men dating older women. I just wanted to share some of my thoughts on it as well I hope you don't mind.

We, in America are having a relationship crisis. Most of the Westernized world is on many levels.
Part of it is phoney relationships derived through social media.....Social Media can give an illusion of a real relationship with thousands of people but actually contacting no one all at the same time.

When Social media first started it was usually filled with pictures of people/friends/family getting together.....now its filled with thoughts, memes, bits of interesting information and of course politics....uggghhhhh.
IOW the goal posts moved of what everyone was posting or caring about or essentially glamorizing.

So, now you cant show off your girlfriend unless she is practically a porn star with body parts coming out of her clothes....
But people dont look like that....never have. Those porn stars been put through a glam computer filter....I'm very low tech but even I know fake people when I see them. And the internet is filled with AI models these days. Both men and women.

You have nothing to post if you met up with a person at a McDonald's....unless its the most expensive restaurant in town it's not worth mentioning....

We, the normal people, dont crow about the basic wonders of ordinary life....like how I'm so "sub" but my wife loves me....and where I find it fascinating and wonderful....nobody wants to see that or hear about this wonderful life we have with friends and family but perfectly ordinary at the same time. Nobody is a criminal or hero....we are just average ordinary people who are honest, hardworking and delight in grilling ribs today. (Labor day) later on my 87 year old father is going to bring some potatoes and we'll eat together....

Nothing worthy of a viral post....nobody is photogenic....but we honestly just love each other and enjoy each other. And today....that's a miracle....something special and unique. Because nobody else is doing that. Guys will play video games online with "buds" they met online....talk trash about soft porn or hard porn actresses....girls will glam on about laying out or some fake boyfriend paying obscene prices for recreation by the most expensive place to go or do.....boat, jetskis, tropical island etc.....all because they are soooooo beautiful. Uggghhhhh

Nowadays if by some stroke of luck you get together with many others.....its a protest mob and riot.
The reality was, for me, I just sat in my usual pen for church.....brought 3 nieces and a nephew with me and my wife and my dad.

What you are saying agrees with what Jesus corrected the people about. If I understand what you mean, you are wanting to agree with God's will for your life in regards to marriage. Perhaps you are more interested in what God says about His institution than what the world says.

Pharisees and Sadducees were not only changing God's purpose of the law to twist it to a means of salvation; they also added their traditions to exceed His intentions. One example was when they asked about why Jesus' disciples didn't do a ritual washing of their hands.
They were accusing them of Sabbath crimes, picking food for immediate use as they walked, to the literal Lord of the Sabbath.
These were religious leaders.

Our worldly cultures have been so misled by the Devil's socialist social engineers, like the German Prussian model that Horace Mann < persuaded the American states to adopt. One of the fallouts of the diabolical system was to train the generations to divide from those of different ages. There's been much emphasis given to racial segregation but none to the larger problem of Age Segregation. This is a time in history where the Devil has divided the churches and families so much as to ineffectual to a great extent. Children have been cloistered in the smallest possible age groups from nursery to post graduation college that anything else seems bizarre to most. I'm not saying that it's appropriate for children to marry. The Bible addresses that.
I'm saying that there are commands and principles about marriage and contemporary cultural norms have taken control over the institution of marriage.
Children don't outgrow what they've been taught by example and experience from cradle thru college. This is carried into family structures that serve the satanic big corporate interests over the purposes of God.
