Scripture says that words have the power of life and death in them. I had heard people talk nice to their plants and they say it helps the plants grow bigger and stuff. So I figured I'd try it and see. I was growing tomato plants and the year before's crop wasn't so good. So I thought to improve it if I could.
Besides, I had seen a video on you tube about some Japanese scientist that wrote a book about the secret life of water. He did an experiment where he cooked some white rice and divided it into 3 portions and these he put into jars with lids and he labeled them. Good, Bad, and Ignore.
Every day he would talk to one of them very nice. Bless it and speak that it is good and all sorts of stuff like that, The 2nd one he spoke mean to every day. Insulting it, saying it is worthless and not loved and all sorts of bad stuff. The 3rd on he did not speak to and simply ignored it. And he watched the specimens. I think he said he waited like 3 or 4 weeks and the one he spoke nice to still looked good enough to eat. The one he had spoken bad to was all black and rotten, and the one that was ignored was pretty bad also, moldy or something, but not edible.
And if memory serves me good today, it is in scripture that the people spoke to their land...
So I was up getting a drink one night and I looked out the window at my tomato plants. So I started talking to them through the window and blessing them and telling them to grow up and be strong and vry fruitful and all sorts of stuff like that, and I see the tomato plants swaying, so I think huh the wind is blowing and I looked around and the trees and bushes were not moving. Just the tomato plants. So I said, oh you want to dance for me, bless you and there they go swaying. I thought, this is weird, I went outside to get a closer look and I walked right up to them and was talking nice things to them and, they were dancing with joy to my words is what I believe.
They was still when I first got out there because I had stopped talking to them wile walking out. But as soon as I started talking, they started moving, with no wind..
Long story short, I had bukoo tomatoes that year! And big ones! So I say it works.

There is a tradition where I come from where women or men who cook in the kitchen, do not speak bad words because it “spoils” the food.

I don't have plants but if I did I'd talk to them nicely. And if this didn't work I'd threaten them with tarifs.
They used to speak to the land in the OT. When I read that, I went out and talked to the tree, the land, and the flowers.
I've wondered before if plants are sentient? I think there's a real good chance that they are. Animals too. They just don't speak English and we don't speak Dog (Lol).
I've heard testimonies about people going to heaven in spirit and visiting or whatever and recounting that, the flowers were singing! And another guy said when he was there he saw a child trying to reach a piece of fruit on a tree, and the tree was teasing her and pulling the branch up! Then it lowered the branch and dropped it in her hand. It was playing with her.
I think that's super cool and can't wait to see the extent of it! I'm a hunter here on earth, maybe I can play hide and seek with an Elk in heaven?! Not hurting or killing or eating, just hide and seek!

I only know that if I had a cannabis plant I'd definitely talk to it and also play the KJV to it.
It needs to feel loved in order to yield much fruit.
I'd really like to own a cannabis plant and take care of it. It must be a really good feeling when you

I used to live in Colorado when the legalized medical use so I had my red card and could grow 6 plants. I didn't have a clue hat I was doing so I looked up my buddy and said how do you grow, and he was more than happy to show me. I took his knowledge and read all the books and stuff, and it's not hard to grow nice plants. My friend didn't like reading books, so I got to be a better grower than he is! It was touchy there for a few, lol. He got mad that I did so well! He didn't actually say it, but he was mad!

That's cool.
But doesn't growing need a very controlled environment where you need grow lights and also have to control the temp and humidity?
This would be my main worry, that grow lights need much electricity and that controlling the environment would be too costly or
simply too complicated.
I mean in order to control the humidity you'd need a de-humidifyer. They aren't cheap and also need a lot of energy.
For me it wouldn't make sense to get into this if it creates too high energy bills.
The energy bill from the lights didn't hit me that hard with 3 1000W lights, but it's been a few years. But temperature and humidity is what I did in my trade. I had to add some ventilation. 1000 watt lights generate a lot of heat so I a simple exhaust fan with it's own thermostat was easy to wire in. I didn't have to even really keep track of the humidity or anything. but if you have air conditioning, that does the same thing a dehumidifier does.
It's not complicated, just a few little things you must know. For indoor growing, don't grow in dirt. I used to grow with hydroponics which are essentially fiberglass (??) blocks that have a hole in them to set your Starter in. Then the blocks absorb water and liquid nutrients, all available at the hydro sore and, for a decent layout of cash. But! the nutrients are essentially in bulk so they last quite awhile. I had made two 4X8 tables and lined them with linoleum to make it water tight made one end 1/2" taller than the other end so all the water would drain into the drain that In installed on the table. Then under the fron of the table I had a large plastic container Maybe 12 or 15 gallon size and I'd make up the nutrient solution mixed in with the water for a reservoir and used pumps & hoses to run tubing to the high side of the table and pump water right onto the top end and it would drain down and water the grow blocks as it ran down to the drain and drained back into the reservoir and recycle. I left that on constantly 24/7 and cycled the lights with timers. It was a great setup and I'll say that...it was as easy to grow 15 plants per table, easily.
I know, we were only allowed 6 plants. But who tells the farmer how much seed to plant on his land?! No one, that's ridiculous! And Illegal so be careful, lol. If you do too good, you'll get Jackboot thugs at the door wanting their cut and control. Did you know that in many places, a rainbarrel is against the law? Gardens have limits to size?
If you grew with a full table, then it's easily worth it. If you can only grow 6 at a time...maybe not worth it? But even 6 plants if grown right will be more weed than you know what to do with, lol! If you got 3 1000w lights going that will affect what you adjust your furnace thermostat to in the wintertime!
I didn't even talk florescent lights for the 2nd table I had. Different grow room with 4 ft florescent in carefully chosen colors. You run blue in the spring which is a cooler light and then more red light towards the end of grow season a hotter light and so forth. While one crop was budding in the one room, I had starters going already under the florescent and rotate at harvest time. I didn't use seeds either. Clones. Oh, you'll need a clone kit too, lol. Makes it super easy though. That just means buying those seed starter things. Looks like a preformed dirt clod. I don't remember what they call them. The decriminalized cannabis in ohio, but they wont let grow any, not even 6! So my days of growing are only memories now, cuz I don't need no jack boot thugs showing up at my door. AHa! You have a plant!

It's easy to spot grow rooms in the city in the wintertime! The grow room will melt that snow off the roofs and stuff while everyone else in the neighborhood don't have melted snow! Make it very obvious where it is!

Yes! That's exactly the point. Growing more plants allows a grower to make edibles. It takes a lot of plants to make edibles. I had tried quitting smoking pot because I like a clear head, but I discovered real fast that edibles leave you with a clear head and merely suppress the body! And it was a way to keep it in my system, to help keep me seizure free.
You wont admit it?! Lol! Oh, wouldn't admit it, sorry! I do talk to plants, and even my tree and yard!

But I didnt always talk to plants. Only after I read in scripture that the spoken word has the power of life and death in it, and how Jesus created the universe by speaking it into existence. We are created in the image and likeness of God, so we prolly have that ability too and just don't know how to use it?
The Japanese scientist guy in the video I posted separates a single sample of water from somewhere and speaks love to one sample and hate to the other sample and then he freezes both samples and looks at the ice crystals under a microscope. And the hate crystals were disfigured while the love crystals always came out very beautiful!

I bet the far reaching ramifications from our speech is fantastic. I bet everything that comes out of our mouth (heart) either serves to give God glory and praise and life, or negative speech are curses which do not praise the Lord.
No wonder scripture says to bless our enemies and do not curse them. Because curses can be much worse than you intended! And it's the same thing with our bodies. Do you know anyone who is always sharing how terrible they feel and all the woes about their illness? I know several of them. And yet, when they complain of themselves...are they actually cursing their own self at that moment? I think perhaps so!
Praise God when you feel bad. Anybody remember "What About Bob?" (Bill Murray)...I feel good, I feel great, I feel wonderful, I feel good, I feel great, I feel wonderful..!! That is probably really true them because if our words frame our reality for us here on earth. We don't know what we're playing with! And go around just being loose lipped and no consideration to what falls out of our mouth and the results that come from it.
And the women! They like to "Gossip" and so maybe they may as well call it the cursing club. I bet God hates Gossip. I've heard women gossiping before. I was the plumber/furnace guy in the house while 2,3, or 4 women all sitting drinking coffee and gossiping while their daddy's at work.
Woman can be mean. Do you think they realize how powerful their words are?

operation. If all I needed is to plant the seed in a pot and then water it every day then I could pull this off, but the stuff you described...
no way! It's sad cause I am sure that growing a plant and taking care of it is fun and rewarding.

Only the setup is complicated brother. After it's set up bit by bit then the pants practically grow themselves! Hydroponics is better than growing in dirt because you get a bushier plant. When a plant is planted in dirt, it grows but it has to develop an extensive root system to water itself from the ground. That takes resources from the plant that could have been used for buds! In hydroponics it develops a minimal root system because water and nutrients are easily taken up by the plant from constant circulation, so you get higher yields that way.
When I grew I was already in Business doing most trades Plumbing, heating, A/C. gas lines, ventilation and all that that so I started a side gig under a different name to do electrical setups in grow rooms. A 'Lot" of people don't know how to set up the electric and have fires because of it. So I helped a lot of people that way to help keep them safe. Pay attention to those amp draws!
I can't grow plants in Ohio so why get the red card here? To go pay $400 oz at the Dispensary? No thanks! I've thought though that I could make a grow setup again with hydroponics and grow food indoors! That might be a good idea!
