Pray for the plants to prosper? I never thought of that! I just speak to the plants directly. God gave man dominion over the earth before the fall, and Jesus got it back for us at the cross. So...what makes you think that plant don't recognize you as a child of God? Say to it, Hey you plant, you be fruitful and multiply and grow big and strong!

Even Jesus did not pray to kill that fig tree when he got mad at it for not having any figs when he was hungry! He just said, oh yeah, sleeping on the job eh? So die then!

i never said or thought that the plant may think i'm a child of God. i simply pray: "Lord, please have these plants grow to their maximum".

Yeah, I talk to my plants when they do poorly. I say "What's the deal?" If the harvest is plentiful (rarely) I say "Who's your daddy?"
