I also am glad I chose obey JESUS and to be baptized in HIS name to remove my sins, can't enter Heaven with sin and that's the only way to get rid of them.

I'm also Happy he filled me with HIS spirit, what a wake up call that was HE'S ALIVE.

Acording to HIS word, those who don't get baptized in HIS name will not make it.

Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

Need 4 things, believe, repent, get baptized in JESUS name and still need JESUS to fill us with HIS spirit like he did HIS disciples in acts 2:4.
thank you, please see it is not a law, rather a response to God in love to God for doing what God did through Son for us. I think and see you do see that, and Thank you

I am so glad you know, and love you as well, you do as you do, let me do as I see to do and be freed from under stress, as I see you Performing to others to do or else God will get you
Unfortunately, you are claiming under Law to do perfectly and I know and you know you are not perfect, myself either.
I need God, I see you want to please God by works. hoping the best for you, I know I am not perfect and never can be. Since in past was and have been under Law, no more, yet I uphold Law as good now, trusting God it is done by Son for and all others too, 1 John 2:1-27
Thank you, I like Paul see to not be under Law, to uphold law and not be a person performing in front of others as if are good. When only my Father God is good and is giving mercy to us all in risen Son to be new humbly, thank you, love you as God loves us all.
I will not accuse you or excuse you or even me, thank you Romans 2:1-4
You be right not a problem with me, I have been one of the worst kind of sinners, now see differently'

Else what shall they do which are baptizedfor the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why are they then baptized for the dead?

once anyone becomes willing between God and them, one will get Baptized in God Father's spirit and truth
I disagree with how you go about water Baptism and am not fighting you over it. We each get to decide how it is for each. If you are not living like a refugee, then please continue thank you
We all fight to be free, until freed by God over it all, thank you
Did you know Paul was addressing the church he started in Corinthian?

HE'S NOT TALKING TO THE UNSAVED.

1 Corinthians 1 Paul called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes our brother,

2 Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both their's and our's:

FYI not my words but JESUS'S words.

If your NOT reborn, you will not make it to GOD the father!!!

Acts 2:38
King James Version
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Gospel rebirth scriptures

(Acts 2:38-41, 8:12-18, 9:17-18, 10:43-48, 19:1-6, 22:16)

Acts 2:38-39 (Jewish) The group did not receive the Holy Ghost the moment they believed in Jesus. However, they were told they could expect the Holy Ghost at some point.

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

Acts 8:12-17 (Samaritans)
But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.
Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.
Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:
Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost:
(For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.)
Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.

Acts 10:43-48 (Gentiles)
43 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.
While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.
And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.
For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,
Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?
And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.

Acts 11:13-14
And he shewed us how he had seen an angel in his house, which stood and said unto him, Send men to Joppa, and call for Simon, whose surname is Peter;
Who shall tell thee words, whereby thou and all thy house shall be saved.

Acts 19:2-6 (Disciples who did not realize they had to water baptized in Jesus name)
He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.
And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism.
Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.
When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.

Acts 22:14-16 (Paul's water baptism)
And he said, The God of our fathers hath chosen thee, that thou shouldest know his will, and see that Just One, and shouldest hear the voice of his mouth.
For thou shalt be his witness unto all men of what thou hast seen and heard.
And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

Bless we all are as is everyone in risen Son. Many see it presently not all yet, more to come from Father and Son, as we each continue to grow and remain willing to learn and not think we, at least me, got it, I know better than toilet pride take anymore rides as in Luke 18:9-14 tells me of.
I know better as in Phil 3 also, when Paul says, "not that I am perfect", Paul, gave up knowledge to win Christ, gave up Law to see to only uphold law as good (Romans 3:31), not to allow Law to flow through him in his unredeemed flesh anymore. Which, caused him to sin more than was prior to being under Law, So he wrote Romans 7 for us to see it is God's Son that won for us all to be new in God's Spirit and Truth, not to be of flesh and blood anymore, at least me

My conscience is clear, thank you trusting Father, Daddy, PaPa, in risen Son to be new in Daddy's spirit and Truth for us all
Dad called, sent Son to take our deserved death place for us all, done once Hebrews 10:10, reconciled as in 2 Cor 5:16-20 first, before any new life could ever get given anyone as born again from Father now, since Son took care of all sin first.
And Water Baptism is not born again from God. That is form man flesh, wanting to look good in front of others. Even though I have gotten water Baptized before God Spirit Baptized by God. John 4:23-24
The Water Baptism is two fold. First fold to get liked by others in doing it.
The second fold is between Father and that person personally, having a good conscience and not to be a member of any earth church either. True Church (Ecclesia, not Church) is Hebrews 8:1-4 and true religion is visiting those in need and doing as led in God's love 1 Cor 13:4-7
Man work(s) of flesh 1 Cor 13:1-3 will not please God see it in Romans 8:3
I am elated you are searching it all out John 4:23-24 and I am not saying 'I" know. God does though, and is why my Conscience is clear, thank you trusting God still only as God does the same for all that are God's and each person knows the truth as in Romans 8:15-16

Actually, pushing God's done work for us all, since no other flesh but Son's flesh could ever please God Romans 8:1-3 and not using it for self to get anything else but what God gives to us all, to stand in belief to this done work Col 1:21-23 and all of Galatians told to us from Paul, about the mistaker of trying to do it ourselves, the Amazing Apostle of God, born out of due time for us all to be and see Galatians 2:20
I am dead to the self and other as well. God did it himself of run to be new in love and mercy automatically and not necessarily understand this gift given

Philippians 4

Authorized (King James) Version

4 Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, mydearly beloved. 2 I beseech Euodias, and beseech Syntyche, that they be of the same mind in the Lord. 3 And I intreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellowlabourers, whose names are in the book of life.

Help, as led to help by God Father, the Holy Spirit in risen Son, not by any others. Hear all, please take all to Father your personal Father, and see to understand, without needing to understand and love all, regardless of how anyone else thinks or hears, just Love
Love all as I, God speaks, I have loved you. Revisit my Son's death and resurrection for you on that cross that took away all sin in the way (John 1:29) that was in the way, first for you, to now approach God's throne of grace confidently, still knowing you do not deserve you have been given this. Which is deeper, than just loving self, thanking God, does just love you too! Amazing Died once willingly for us all to be given new life new given us each that choose to believe God too, not earned or worked for, this is a gift from God not me or anyone else, Which you know in your Soul too, thank you
Again, Jesus plus nothing is universalism.

If salvation is based on the existence of Jesus plus nothing then all creation is in a saved state. There can be nothing lost.

I can see you will not accept HIS WORD.

But instead not speak the truth what being baptized is for which is going down the wrong road.

You make me think of these foke JESUS is speaking to as he SENDS THEM TO HELL for not OBEYING HIS WORD.

Notice after he sent them to HELL he speaks of foudation, which is those verse I shared with you. THEY ALSO DID NOT ACCEPT.

Matthew 7,

13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:

27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

28 And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:

Again, Jesus plus nothing is universalism.

If salvation is based on the existence of Jesus plus nothing then all creation is in a saved state. There can be nothing lost.
The only thing left after his one time willing death, once for all (Hebrews 10:10), does not save anyone. That Reconciled everyone to God Father in Son first for us all (2 Cor 5:16-20). No one gets saved by death, the death was for to be forgiven first 100% in order to get given new life given in the risen Jesus Christ. Not all believe God 100%, not all are willing for God to be God over them, unwilling. People want a share, wanting to do it themselves and say they got God's help and do not yet, it is all dependent on God or nothing to me, I see after being under Law first Read all of Galatians please? God waiting patiently, desiring no one to perish. You go ahead and continue your work, Amen to you to see through it too. I am trusting God for you to see truth and be new in God's risen Son Jesus for you too, trusting God for all.
God is not God of the dead, God is God of the living, Jesus lives, is resurrected, seen by over 500 witnesses as in 1 Cor 15 Paul wrote about
However all that got left after the death is:
To believe God Father the Son is risen for us to get given from Daddy, PaPa, Father new life in love and mercy given us. Father and Son get all the credit, not anyone else, and Father and Son are Won (One) for me at least
God continues to love you, have you ever wondered that, why God has not smacked you dead. and all of us too. How, why Son took death on himself for us all, to choose to believe God or not? God just loves us all, left the choice to believe or not and be set free through continued belief over works of the flesh people, that keep saying they have to do to get in, denying the done work of God for them in risen Son to them where new born again life begins by Father and Son as Won, the two of them as One, Won for us to be in by belief to this as done for them, one changes willingly then (Col 1:21-23) notice we are made perfect by God not self.
read all the Epistles and see it is not us that do it, it is God that did it for us to be new in love and mercy to all as he did first by Son for us to just love, God's way 1 Cor 13:4-7, 13, and stop 1 Cor 13:1-3 please, your free choice given you too, thank you

Yeah the willingness to learn from gods word and understand what we think isn’t equal to what he said . So that we can actually learn new things from his word is important brother . I really like tbat you are always looking to understand better and that scripture is important to your thinking .

If you notice in the gospel there’s always something instruction for us to do , and also there’s promise of what Gods doing for us. I mean like this

jesus did this for us so we can have all our sins remitted

“For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“for this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭26:28‬ ‭

Jesus did tbat for us then he sent the message out to all mankind

“and said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And ye are witnesses of these things.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭24:46-48‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Do you see how all that Jesus did leads to where were supposed to act ?

“Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins,

and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭2:38‬ ‭

ado you see how Jesus did something for us then sent the message about it to us … then it leads to what we are told to do to receive the gift ? Doctrine is where we find Gods grace

Again, Jesus plus nothing is universalism.
Only universalists believe this, e.g. United Church of Christ. It's a number small enough to be insignificant. I can't think of anyone on this site that agrees with them. Intentionally misrepresenting someone's beliefs is a form of bearing false witness.

This is Jesus plus.

You are asserting that it is Jesus plus our willingness.

So are you saying that it is Jesus plus nothing or Jesus plus our willingness.

Which one is it?
