Dont agree. The old covenant ended at the cross. It is finished has a few meanings other than just Jesus' life on earth. The old covenant and the priests standing between ordinary folks and God to name two other meanings. Bruising Satans head is another.

Read Hebrews...it was waning. Ask yourself this as well...what did God promise would happen to Israel for failure to keep the covenant? Did God just end the covenant without fulfilling what He said He would do?

The ride might end up being those 17million people voting in the mid-term elections though which was why they were told not to go too wild because they still need to get re-elected. Will they vote blue or red after loosing their benefits time will tell. Weeee enjoy the ride brother.

He scattered Israel in 70AD. He did what he promised Israel. More than once before Christ ended it with his sacrifice. Or do you think Israel is under the old covenant today? Only those who dont accept Jesus as the Christ think they are under it.

No American citizen is losing benefits. Besides Trump has been going to start WW3 since 2016. So benefits will be a thing of the past when that happens, right?

Hebrews made it very clear that it did not end at the cross. It was written years after the cross and at that time it was "near to passing away". So no, the cross did not end it.

According to the Old Covenant Jesus would come as the Messiah and He did come as the Passover lamb, but the Old Covenant also describes Him coming as the Lion of the Tribe of Judah. So they, like you and me, will get a second chance. That is what second Passover is all about. They were defiled by the dead religion of the Pharisees and Sadducees but that doesn't mean they don't get a second chance.

must have been a big thing here in the forum back in 2016 about Trump starting ww3 but I must have missed it because I wasn't a member back then. I'll back date what I would have said "what when I was a kid it was Kennedy and the Johnson and then each and every President over my whole life. I bet someone else from another country starts it and leaves the U.S. Presidents just scrambling to defend themselves." The House of Representatives has the bill now and Trump is who told them not to go too hog wild they still need to get re-elected.

The old covenant is gone now, but it wasn't fully over until 70AD when God destroyed Jerusalem and the temple. That finished the sanctions God had promised in Deuteronomy for their unfaithfulness to the covenant. God can't simply end a covenant without fulfilling all the terms of the covenant.

Paul said something along the lines that, by nature, the gentiles keep the law. Since Gentiles were never bound by the old covenant, then what is the significance of the new covenant incorporating them into Israel?

Matthew 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Luke 16:17 And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail.

We must all appear before the Judgement seat of Christ and unbelievers before the Great White throne. The law is the basis of that judgment. According to that law if you receive Jesus Christ as your sin offering He will be your righteousness.

The law is a direct reference to the law of Moses and in that law it tells you about sin offerings, trespass offerings and peace offerings. If you receive Jesus Christ He is your peace offering. But the judgment on those who have not received Him will not take place until the Great White throne.

Revelation 20:11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

Jesus did not do away with the Law, He fulfilled it.

@shittim Instead of giving the red x, why not provide the Bible verses, that is how you would prove this is not true.

This whole doctrine is completely debunked by the book of Revelation which was written n 95 AD. That obliterates the doctrine. The only way around that is to ignore all of the overwhelming evidence and make the baseless claim that it was written prior to 70 AD.

The proponents of this doctrine admit as much saying the evidence that Revelation was written prior to 70 AD is the doctrine, because if it is written after it debunks their doctrine.
