Jesus was clear, Father and him are One. He is the propitiation for sin 1 John 2:1-2, we are forgiven 1 John 2:12, best to read the whole Chapter and see once in belief we are made new and can hear Father in Spirit and Truth, Son being One with Father, being given 1John 2:27

about anyone with the wherewithal to protect and sustain life, i.e. a
provider; either materially or spiritually, which includes folks in key political
positions (Gen 45:8) and/or religious positions. (2Kgs 2:12)
Israel's protectors and providers came and went in a succession of losers
and winners; whereas the one predicted to take David's throne in Isa 9:6-7
will be permanent.
