Did anyone catch the ABC interview with President Trump?

I posted a thread about it before its start last night. Apparently it was deleted by a moderator.

Is it not free speech? What your US President Trump is doing create present several problems in germany. But not only in germany, in your country too.

Of course it is free speech, and what I said was free speech, and what PennEd says is free speech, and what everyone else who says you don't know what you are talking about is free speech.

When you talk about the impact of Trump's presidency on Germany you have a special standing to do that since you live in Germany. Likewise when others talk about you not understanding the people in the US they have a special standing living in the US. It does not mean they are right and you are wrong. It simply means they have the high ground. That in turn opens you up to unfavorable comparisons. When Canadians attack the US it opens them up for us to take a close look at Canada and what is going on in Canada. Likewise with people in Germany when they complain about the US government.

I support the right of the Canadian people to chose their own leaders whether or not I like them. Same with Germany. But if they have the right to complain about American leaders it is only right that we examine their country.

They were supported by the Biden administration, that is how. Now they are not being supported by the Trump administration so it is stopping.
 
Universities should not be “supported” by any administration. Neither financially nor in any other way. What they teach is for themselves to decide.

Remember Iraq's weapons of mass destruction...... oh, oh remember when they had elections in Iran in 1953 and the USA did not like who they picked and in four days the CIA overturned that election and installed the Shah.
Yes there are documents now which reveal what really happened.

People around the world are not stupid and unlike the USA they do not have short memories.

Well, if this American leader then destroys trade and reationships which were there for decades. Then of course their is the right of complain this person.
If you tell me that Mr. Trump has no influence what happend in germany, then you are wrong. 1,3 Millon people in germany dependet from the car Industrie. If your president means then To make a trade war. Then of course this concerns people in germany.
If your presesident mean he can take ground from canada. Of course this concerns people in canada.
Your president reveals himself more and more to be unpredictable. For the trade in my country and in yours, too, this is very bad and brings small and middle buissenes Keepers in trouble.
He is looking only for his own sucsess, but not for the American nation.

He should unit the United states, but he split this country. He claims to bring a golden age to the USA. When and how? In making pressure? Fire all who not agrees with Him?
He is not the peacemaker He claims.
You cant unit if you dont respect the people you will win for a Union.
He seems to be good for to protect Israel.

About the german government I dont trust them much to change in a good way. Because we living in a godless society. What we then can expect.?

When I stayed in army, I was exchanged in an American Kaserne. I always saw in america a close friend. You Mr.Trump destroys in his words and deads. For what? For his own profit and name.

The US represents 5% of the world's population. There are other countries who are far more insulated than the US. If one country with 5% of the world's population can "destroy" trade by putting tariffs on the trade with one country what does that say about the other 95% of the world's population?

Trump's policy is based on one simply formula -- he wants the trade to be balanced between the two countries. The same value of goods imported will equal the same value of goods exported. I can see how that might be slightly disruptive, but for you to say that it "destroys" trade for the whole world, what does that say? It is as though the whole world are parasites.

I can see that the world's economy based on the current model is not sustainable. I can see that every empire prior to this was the same. Egypt destroyed that nation, the Fall of Rome, the destruction of Babylon, Assyria crashed and burned, the USSR crashed and burned, Greece, Medo Persia. I lived in the UK for a year in the 70s. This used to be the Empire on which the sun never set, but at that time it was greatly humbled. I can see that when you borrow money the day will come when you have to pay it back. That day has come for the US and also for the rest of the world. Is Trump a liar? I lived in Taiwan for eight years and I saw how easily an entire nation can build their "kingdom" on a lie. I learned that in China nothing is as they would have you believe. Trump may be a liar, it is too early to tell, but so far what has really gotten people upset and riled up about him is that he has done exactly what he said he would do. The whole world is so used to liars no one expected him to do exactly what he said he would do.

This makes me think of all the people wearing heavy sets of shoes residing at the bottom of the Gulf of Galveston, which from now on is the new name of the Gulf.

Come on I speaking from Traders in the USA and in Germany which have a contract and suffer both because of Trumps tarrifs.
And I speak from the relationship germany has with the USA and the USA with germany.
Which Trump is going on to destroy!
