The last thing we want is a president who is a people pleaser. He has to make difficult decisions and there will always be people who are not happy with those decisions. He and his party will be held accountable for those decisions and policies. So he will definitely have counselors and advisors, but you can't govern based on polls. That was JFK's point in his book "Profiles in Courage".

Great generals like Patton and MacArthur were prima donnas, arrogant, put their foot in their mouth, and did things everyone else thought were stupid and crazy. The landing at Inchon being a great example. But they did what no one else could do and that is why we now view them as great generals.

MacArthur was lambasted for saying we should go into China which had a nuclear weapon at that time. But given the choice between a nuclear war at the time of MacArthur and one today I think we all would have preferred to have listened to MacArthur.

Mr. Trump‘s goal is to cut as many federal programs and agencies as possible. The reason he wants to do this is he wants to give huge tax breaks to the very wealthy.
Personally, I don’t believe President Trump is a Christian. I saw an interview he did with a news person. The news person was trying to get Trump to say that he needed forgiveness for something. Trump said he had never felt the need for forgiveness. He always did what he thought was right. How could one accept Christ as Lord and Savior without asking God for forgiveness?
