Sorry I forgot about the issue of ascending which I have gone over with you before to ascend is to go up by your own power but Elijah was taken key word taken meaning it was not by his own power he went up.

All rapture verses are Normal life. Commerce, buying and selling, and everyday life.
So any notion of a mid trib or post trib Rapture is incorrect.
Any notion of a pre-trib rapture is incorrect because the scripture says that the DotL will not occur until after the GT and the triple sign in the sky, per Matt 24 and Joel 2.
Perhaps try backing up your assertions with scripture for a constructive conversation. Mere;y stating your belief isn't an argument against any other view.
The TEXT ITSELF does NOT say (as you suggest) any idea of his having WRITTEN this letter "AFTER he was taken up".... that is to INJECT a word / idea NOT being expressed in this text. (read it again VERY CAREFULLY, as though you were an investigator listening to witnesses--the TEXT isn't saying what YOU are suggesting).

I don't care what Elijah wrote 2000 years before Paul wrote what he wrote. I care what Paul wrote. To me he wrote it plainly. The lord will decend with the shout of an arch angel Then the dead will rise first and those left alive will be caught up. I will read though verses when trying to understand a certain idea. However if it is written plainly I see no point in it. When you prescribe numbers to words and site all these differnt ideas I think of the saying attributed to Einstein. If you can't explain it to a 6 year old you don't know what you are talking bout. To each thier own. The OP asked when I think it would be I awnsered it.

It simply states "Then a letter came to him from Elijah..." (it never states Elijah mailed it AFTER his chariot ride, or any such idea), or in the kjv the text is worded like this: "And there came a writing to him from Elijah the prophet, saying..."
-- 2 Chronicles 21 (KJV) - And there came a writing ("a writing"--That's a NOUN, referring to the actual object itself... not saying ANYTHING about *when* Elijah PENNED [verb] it, see.)
...it doesn't state WHEN he wrote it... and the TEXT ITSELF doesn't state that ELIJAH HIMSELF had it delivered to the recipients...

example: When Paul wrote the words "then WE which are ALIVE and remain...," it is not so much that he himself even expected to still be alive when this thing will take place he's writing about, but that he UNDERSTOOD *FOR CERTAIN* that at least a SEGMENT of "the Church WHICH IS HIS BODY" (whom he is tasked with ADDRESSING) WOULD/WILL still be alive at the time being spoken of (b/c the "ONE BODY" is what will be "SNATCHED [G726 - raptured / caught up]" together in ONE SNATCH-ACTION--*and* he says of us, "WE shall not ALL sleep, but WE shall ALL be changed IN A MOMENT, in the twinkling of an eye, AT..."--i.e. at ONE POINT IN TIME pertaining to the WHOLE "Church WHICH IS HIS BODY" [ALL those saved "in this present age [singular]"--'Rapture / SNATCH [G726]" pertain SOLEY TO "the Church WHICH IS HIS BODY," not to all OTHER saints of all OTHER time periods. No.])
Hope that helps you see my perspective about Elijah's letter (not to mention Paul's numerous epistles. lol) One could say, "a letter came to him/ [/us] from Paul..." (but we received it after he's long been "at home with the Lord" [absent from the body, via his having died in the first century].)

Aww... the man who wrote that book based his "figurings" on the faulty "Historicist" hermeneutic, so naturally came to incorrect conclusions.
["1260 DAYS" is "1260 DAYS" not "1260 *years*"--one of the many MIS-steps of such hermeneutic, sorry to say]

The setting for the rapture postrib is not in the bible.
Matt 24 is the second coming on white horses is 7 years after the rapture, and after the 7 yr trib.
Jesus said "before judgement, and normal everyday life, he comes".
