no we don't need to agree on everything but we also need to be united in Christ being united in Christ means we don't slander each other mock accuse and name call we can disagree but be respectful about it

OK... I see. That's a different aspect.

On the same note, you can not expect to see the behavior you mention when believers operate in their emotions.
After all, its because they do operate in their emotions religiously that they find an affinity for false teachings that appeal to
how they "feel" it should be.

Yes, very important to agree not to argue, because unity/love is our best witness for Christ (JN 13:35, 17:20-23).

Yes I know I shouldn't expect it but for those who would listen sometimes a friendly reminder makes a huge difference

Yes, as Paul wrote in TIT 1:10-11a, "For there are many rebellious people, full of meaningless talk and deception, especially those of the circumcision group [Judaizers]. They must be silenced, because they are disrupting whole households [house churches] by teaching things they ought not to teach."
I could say the same for a lot of groups we see the kjv onlyists for example for a new believer in Christ such people can be dangerous I think there is also a group that idolizes Paul but then there is the peterists and other examples of such groups.

Yes re the KJV onlyists, and I have encountered Jesus onlyists who apparently do not think the epistles are divinely inspired.

When someone cops the group-think of being the superior ones, that tends to be a problem.

Yes, if it teaches the need for perseverance and possibility of apostasy--even the words of Jesus in MT 10:22 & RV 2:10.
wow that is shocking I suppose I should have expected that kind of thinking considering all the false doctrines out there

God put His Word in Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic.
And, it was for good reason.

What we get in English? And read for ourselves?
Can be too misleading if greater and greater accuracy is desired by the believer.
therefore ask, trust God not interpretations in English or other languages of the the original greek written by the Disciples, inspired by God to write them.
God reveals the truth of God's word to his kids, in love and mercy that is what I get.
If, it is not love and mercy, then it it skewed, tainted water
Taking a pure glass of water, Add just a small drop of ink and it be tainted
God, teaches truth, me, people do not, only God does, it is a personal, relationship for each of us. So for me, I see to have Son as risen on tap and have no anger, no resentment, no I am better than anyone else. seeing Luke 21:14-15
This first born flesh I am in is unredeemed, yet redeemed by God Father and Son not me or anyone else ever to me at least
it says to reckon self dead to sin by God for you in risen Son to you, Romans 6 (Acts 17:28)
So, I research, and read and read to know Father and Son only. Can care less for rewards from others as even Paul said that in Galatians, when he was on his way to the disciples for a fellowship handshake
He had Timothy with him, Not circumcised of flesh and said that did not matter to him to be or get circumcised of flesh. Circumcision is of the Heart.
We are made One with Father and Son as Won for us to be One with them. Amazing yes? To me this is, thank you again for your insight sharing, it is appreciated in learning from one another what each other sees for our encouragements, thank you

1 Thessalonians 5:11

  • "Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing"
Hebrews 10:24-25

  • "And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another"
Hebrews 3:13

  • "Encourage one another daily, as long as it is called 'Today,' so that none of you may be hardened by sin's deceitfulness"
Other Bible passages that encourage others:
    • 1 Thessalonians 4:18, which says, "Therefore encourage one another with these words"
    • Acts 15:32, which describes how Judas and Silas encouraged and strengthened believers
    • John 17:21-23, which describes how believers can be one in another so that the world may believe in Jesus
I emplore everyone to think upon these verses
Rely on the Holy Spirit for discernment to know your audience… what spirit they are operating in… and to know myself, what spirit I am operating in.

We only have unity when we’re operating in the same Spirit- the Holy Spirit of God in Christ Jesus according to the Father’s Will.

Yes, which is revealed in Scripture teaching His requirement for salvation or for being part of "we".

The only thing that genuinely builds up believers is Truth.
Accurately taught sound doctrine.

Even those in the world build themselves up into mutual admiration societies.
We need to learn to recognize the differences if maturity in God's Word is to be achieved in our lifetimes.

There is too much sloppy thinking in the body of Christ.
And, I am just as guilty as anybody else when I depend upon my own thinking as to replace
those with a genuine gift to teach with accuracy.

In the end, God is going to get what He wants.
In the meanwhile, many think that they are what He wants.
Because what they want, they are sure is what He wants.
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,”
declares the Lord."

Learning new comes true in humility to God Father and Son for me. Oh boy, how many mistakes I have made and see God said "Forgiven" Neither do I accuse you, go and sin no more
Then the ? How Lord. The Answer, by my Spirit living in you and you be willing for me the Holy Spirit to live through you, so you can rest medicine and see me do the miraculous done work of my Son for y'all
I do not know how many of us here remember 'NyQuill" the cold medicine to rest in
I see God now as my God-Quill and do rest, not always remembering that when anything starts happening, and gets me in a whirlwind in, needing to see to rest in and work on one item at a time. That be learning for me to stop, sit down and listen, taking deep breaths through my nose and holding for a few seconds and let back out my mouth. Why that calms me down, I do not know, yet it does that, whenever I begin to get upset again. Now that upset happens a lot less, exercising this Faith to Father given me by Father through Son as risen for me and the whole world of people as well
try it the next time you are upset, wow! to me thank you Genez

I have a bottle of generic NyQuil sitting on the counter by me right now.

Yes, humility = teachability.
(Happy are the humble :^)
