When it comes to things like hate vs. love and enemies vs. friends, I believe that Solomon said it best.
Pro 27:5
Open rebuke
is better than secret love.
Pro 27:6
Faithful
are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy
are deceitful.
If we truly love people, and if we truly are their friend, then there are going to be times when open rebuke or faithful wounding need to take place. The alternative is the deceitful kisses of an enemy. Personally, I am not a kiss-up. Believe me, I used to be the ultimate kiss-up, but God had to lovingly beat that out of me. Not only for my own sake, but also for the sakes of those who I might deceive while kissing up to them.
Ironically, the OP started a thread not too long ago about people pleasers.
I knew, before I posted on this thread, that I would receive pushback for actually trying to help somebody. I can only speak for myself, but I can assure you and others here that I do not hate anybody.
Is there really a video game where you shoot sheep with a bow and arrow, or were you being facetious? I have seen games where deer are shot, but sheep?
