Correction: There are 2 channels.
The one posted previously is called Off the Ranch and has miscellaneous videos that don't fit Demolition Ranch which is the firearms channel. The following is also going into retirement in spite of having nearly 12 Subscribers. The following has 11 million views and shows the penetration of various calibers in a 350 pound stick of butter. 😄

Yeah, that was incredible.
It only took 4 seconds because it was such a hot load if I remember right. 😄
Most of the time they are dealing with wind too.
I like how they use the drone footage to show perspective to trees and distance too.

Yes.... wind drift has a huge effect on bullet trajectory... it's amazing how far off a 10mph crosswind can push a bullet. And at that distance you will have winds blowing different directions. The bullet might drift left for the first couple hundred yards, then drift back to the right for the next couple hundred, etc..... the path of the bullet would probably look like a snake.... PLUS the drop ..... guys that can consistently dope the wind, etc on long shots like that are in very rare company... not many can do it.

Have you ever tried ELR shooting?

I got that short video mixed up with the next one.
That short at 3,000+yards ammo was the following:
Ammo: 230grn Berger, Norma Brass, Fed LR Primers, AR2225 powder, 93.2mm OAL, mv 2930fps

The next one is:
Berger 300 grn bullets mv3200fps !!!

I've never seen this in YouTube before with a cold bore. I think most of the extreme ranges are guys walking it in for a long time. This couple really enjoy ELRS. 🧿
