Yes.... wind drift has a huge effect on bullet trajectory... it's amazing how far off a 10mph crosswind can push a bullet. And at that distance you will have winds blowing different directions. The bullet might drift left for the first couple hundred yards, then drift back to the right for the next couple hundred, etc..... the path of the bullet would probably look like a snake.... PLUS the drop ..... guys that can consistently dope the wind, etc on long shots like that are in very rare company... not many can do it.
